What do you think?

Keep Swinging
Rick Marin is possibly the world’s most sports-challenged dad - a guy who couldn’t tell you what channel ESPN was on, thinks the “Final Four” is a quartet of apocalyptic superheroes and hasn’t set foot in a stadium since the last Pink Floyd concert. Until his 6-year-old son utters the four most powerful words in the English “Dad, will you coach?”
Keep Swinging chronicles the rookie season of an indoorsy TV writer raising two alpha boys whose life turns around when he gets off the sidelines, puts on a jersey that’s three sizes too big and and throws himself into the world of kids sports.
An inspiring, funny, at times gut-wrenching tale for every father and son who’ve ever picked up a bat, ball or hockey puck, it’s also a story about marriage, career, surviving life’s slumps and how you’re supposed to make men out of your boys, but they end up making a man out of you.
The author of the best-selling memoir Confessions of a Toxic Bachelor writes his next chapter.

Fun read
This short book is a fun read for anyone who has played or coached youth baseball. I liked it from the kids prospective and the dads prospective.

Marin is one of those authors who tries to be self deprecating, but comes across as an ass instead. The story was better near the end, but the beginning was unfortunately annoying.

A nice little story...
I'd never tried a kindle single before. I probably won't try again. Not enough book for the value. But that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy this little read. It'd a nice story about a dad learning how to be a dad. Throw the sports in, and I could relate in a lot of ways. I was hoping for a bit more of a sentimental "a dad and his boys playing ball together" book. Instead it was a "dad only starts succeeding at life when he realizes his 6year old is more resilient than he is" book. So, like I said. It was nice, but that's as far as I'll go.

Keep swinging!
great way to keep connected with your children and wife. Be a real family together. Sports are fun but communication throughout is very important. Pretty good story and showing whatever happens Dont Give Up! Very important for parents to be on the same page when helping their children too.

I went into it expecting several baseball stories but actually there are very few. Having said that, the book weaves thru a dad's desire to be something more and the lessons sports brings. Great quick read.

Great quick read. I really enjoyed this story of an un-sporty dad that learns to be come Mr. Sports for his son.

Right on the mark!
This dad sums it up perfectly. Same story, no matter the youth sport. Girls, boys, moms, dads. Loved it and will read his other books now.

Nice feel good story, would have probably given 3 stars, but I'm a sucker for most any baseball story.
