Two teens are stranded on an alien world with no way home, and a dark force hunts them for reasons they don't understand.
Two teens, Brody and Sky, are ripped from their normal lives and thrown into an unimaginable reality when they accidentally teleport to an alien world. Stranded in a mysterious and dangerous forest, they find a small tribe of young survivors who have also been inexplicably transported to the same planet. As Brody and Sky fight to adapt to their harsh new surroundings, they must navigate the delicate bonds of friendship and growing feelings for each other. But something far more sinister lurks in the shadows—Arawn, a dark entity who commands an army of assassins bent on hunting down anyone who teleports. Why? Because he believes humans destroy everything they touch. As tensions rise, the question isn't just how to survive, but why they were brought here in the first place—and if they'll ever find a way home. Blink is a heart-pounding adventure of survival, young love, and the secrets of the universe.
It was a good story. The main characters are two young kids who discover the act of blinking together. They teleport to new worlds. The book is very creative.
There’s little to no profanity. It’s pretty clean of graphic sexual content as well.
I didn’t care for the intense intimacy between them at such a young age, or the quick twists and turns of the story. It’s hard to follow with the sudden changes.
Really sweet and exciting fantasy series. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the books. This author went above and beyond with his storytelling and writing skills. It’s also quite well edited for a self published book. Overall, I am intrigued to know more about what can come from the brain of Michael Riggs and I’m excited to get to know blank even further.
