Had this for Christmas after my mum saw it on my wishlist, and I'm so happy to have taken the time to sit down and read this cover to cover.
Some great practical and very achievble tips to help you switch off from the digital world.
Even though I may have a few extra years on me than Joe, I found him very relatable, and you could feel his passion oozing out the pages for his love of the natural world.
2023 will be a year of detox and self healing for me, and this book has given me the perfect start to a more peaceful year.
Like many people in their mid-late twenties, I grew up in the peak Youtuber era and I loved it. Both Joe and his sister Zoe are two people that I have always related to, admired and follow to this day.
I think the best words to describe this book are grounding and inspiring. I felt grounded and inspired every time I read from 'Grow". If I was anxious, overwhelmed by our world or life, this book had the power to ground me. It brought me back to the roots, to the natural simplicity and escapism that I crave from our world and busy lives. Joe really makes you think about what is important to you and consider what it is you want from life. 'Grow' inspires me to spend more time in nature, to reduce my screen time, to try new hobbies and really enjoy and embrace all the little things our planet offers.
'Grow' was such a fantastic read. I loved the tips and tricks about nature and plants, I loved the self-reflection and I loved the life stories woven throughout.
Love love loved this book!!! Seriously made me think about the amount of time I sorbs on screens and the need to work on myself and my relationships with other people!
A wonderfully cosy read with loads of tips and advice for gardening as well as breaking away from our reliance on tech and getting back to our natured roots!
