Wow! This book is SO timely and needed. Dealing with the depths of addiction, mental illness, and trauma of all sorts with vulnerability, honesty, and a depth of wisdom and compassion, George Wood and Brit Eaton have ushered in a conversation that is overdue. Highly recommended!

The Uncovery is more then your typical self-help book about addiction, sobriety and recovery. This book is a tool/weapon that EVERYONE should have in there arsenal! It helps take you deep to the heart and roots of addiction...the trauma....and then helps guide you into a journey of real healing at the deepest level! It is a guide for those struggling with addiction, mental health and suicidal thoughts as well as those who are trying to help and be a support system! For those stuck in the struggle you are not alone! And for those who are standing on the sidelines, we need to step up and be the community they need! We all have trauma in our lives and dark moments in time....the Uncovery will help shine a healing light to lead you on your on personal uncovery! This book is raw, it's real and it's refreshing! Let's not simply recover a old broken life but step into a brand new one! This is a book that is so deeply needed in the time we live in! George & Britt are the real deal and legit live out what they are teaching! So many lives have been forever changed and I know in my heart there will be a multitude more forever change! Sobriety is the beginning...Uncovery is the rest of the journey! I would encourage you to join the journey of healing!!!

I appreciated all the new truths I learned from reading this book. Not everything about the Author's life do I agree with, but I think it's entirely possible to take away new information and leave things that don't serve you. We are all on a journey.
