For those who enjoy a dark and mysterious plot with their sexy books, comes the second installment of this kinky m/m (and m/m/m) series inspired by the Edgar Allan Poe story, “The Fall of the House of Usher.”
As this classic literature derived queer erotic romance continues, a new boy dwells within the House of Otter with Alexander. Adjusting to a life of extravagance and sexual discipline continues to thrill and trouble the young otter as fresh fantasies and furry men present themselves to satisfy his growing appetite for passionate submission.
Battling the expected trades Alexander must make for his recently satiated need of financial security, he learns more about the inner-workings and secrets of the mysterious estate and the magical ties which reward obedience.
As he explores his relationship with each gay man and how it correlates with his past as a hustler, a discovery within the mansion may help him understand more about his keeper and the seemingly magical house he now calls home. What he finds among the secret doors and hidden rooms will reveal a history that will impact every otter’s future.
With just as many jockstraps, furry otter boys, Daddy and boy dynamics, CBT, bondage equipment, fetish gear, power exchange, and mystical forbidden fantasies; this second book promises to be equally sinister and kinky as the first, but with even more dark deception.
It’s Edgar Allan Poe but with a queer, kinky, and paranormal twist!
This MM BDSM Paranormal Dark Erotic Romance takes consent seriously. No otter boys were harmed (unless they wanted to be) in the writing of this book.*

I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Alexander is still trying to come to terms with his luck of being able to live in usher's mansion. He is adjusting to a life of luxury he could only have dreamed of and even though he has chores to do and things to learn, the one thing he wants is Usher. But a decision to help a friend could spell the end to everything. Has Alexander gone too far or can he still salvage things and get what he wants more than anything. I recommend any book with Leo Sparx on the cover.
I read this again a year later without book 1 (for Book Sirens), and needed to rewrite one for it, forgetting I had done one previously. I found it interesting the there wasn’t much difference between the two, just a bit less detail but same questions.
Alexander is living in a strange mansion owned by a man named Usher, Alexander’s Daddy, and Alex is his boy. There are two other boys in the house, former friends/acquaintances of Alexander’s, although he doesn’t have much contact with them unless it is allowed by Usher. This is the second book in the series and a lot of background information is missing to grasp an understanding of how Alex got into the situation, is he a prisoner or able to leave if he chooses, and what is the dynamic between Alex and Usher, is Alex content or not? There are elements of BDSM in the relationship, and Usher seems to be absent much of the time. I kept reading and had more questions than answers, but expect to have many of those questions answered in book 3.
I started this book directly after finishing the first one. Alexander is learning more about the mansion and Usher, and he has two friends in the house now, although he seldom sees them. He still has questions about Usher, what does he want from the boys, why them (other than being very hairy), and why is that important. What is the significance of some pictures Roderick shows him, and what about the paintings? There still aren’t any answers yet as Alex tries to behave in a way Usher expects, but Alex can’t always deliver. More questions, speculations and theories. Hoping to get solutions in book 3, because I want MY questions answered. Good reads so far.
