The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! Blind dates can be good, or they can be the worst 😊. Taylor intelligent, she has been so busy with medical school that she doesn’t make time for herself, so has a best friend that loves her enough to set her up on a blind date. Arriving at where the date is to take place, she knows something if off when she is patted down, and her purse is inspected by the security. Mason sexy as all get out celebrity, a war hero and whose name is known throughout every household. As blind dates go this one went pretty well getting to know each other and liking each other more as the attraction grows but just as they are about to order desert his bodyguards inform them, they need to leave if he doesn’t want to be bombarded by people. The chemistry is insanely intense, and the magnetic pull can’t be forgotten so they continue their date at his place but is it just a blind date for him, or is there something more for them to explore, has he found someone who sees him as something more, and can this blind date lead them to happiness?
OMG what a pleasant surprise! This is a very short story lasting only 40 minutes but it was such a treat. From beginning to end it transports you into what can only be described as the perfect blind date. Our heroine is set up by her friend with a wonderful man and it describes their date. I don’t want to give spoilers but the ending was so surprising I gasped when I found out who our hero is. Good job Harissa Totano!! Few things surprise me nowadays and you managed it. There is some heat on this story but nothing too explicit.
The narration was so good! I’ve never listened to a story narrated by Juniper Young but she did a great job with this story adding the passion and excitement it needed. Highly recommended short romance story with a good amount of heat.
I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
Taylor hasn’t had time for dating with her job as a doctor her life just is to hectic to meet anyone so when her friend sets her up in a blind date she agrees. What she wasn’t expecting was the man who she meets at the restaurant, he’s driven to succeed, but with his life being what it is could this ever be more than just a fling?
Short and I do mean super short read, I did find this book enjoyable but overall it felt rushed. 3.5* read.
This short story is about a blind date, one which brings two people together and shows them how well suited they are. I did guess a key part of the story but that didn't stop me from enjoying it. I liked seeing them meet and how their date turned out, I just wish I could have read more about them and seen how things progressed for them after their blind date.

A short novella that was good. But I couldn’t feel the chemistry between the characters. Taylor, too, acted somehow like a teenager. I understand that she was fascinated by the famous, handsome, and rich guy. However, I felt that her character needed more layers. Overall, it was an enjoyable read.
Taylor Middle's best friend Sofia knew she hadn’t been out on a date in a long time being so busy with medical school, so she sets her up on a blind date with Mason Ford. As she walks toward the restaurant table to join the man whose back is to her, two men step out with earpieces in their ears and stop her. One checks the contents of her purse while the other gives her a thorough “frisking” as if she is in a James Bond movie! She understands when she meets her date: Haroldson Mason Walker Ford, one of the most famous and admired men in the world, a war hero.
Their dinner is wonderful and they manage to finish dessert before his bodyguards tell him people are beginning to notice and they need to move. With 5 SUVs, they drive to his building to continue their date away from the public. It’s surreal with a biometric palm scanner and other security measures. And the two of them comfortably talk and enjoy each other’s company through the rest of the night.
There are more revelations in store for the reader, so grab your copy and get the rest of the details of Taylor and Mason’s amazing date.
This was a great read with characters that are well developed and engaging and have chemistry. The storyline is well written and flows smoothly from page to page. Mystery man is the biggest man on the planet what will happen when Taylor shows up for her blind date?

Taylor gets set up for a blind date but it turns out unusual from the start as security guards pat her down beforehand. The man in question turns out to be Haroldson Mason Walker Ford, a celebrity who is surprisingly easy to talk to. (I am guessing the author may be a Harrison Ford fan.) It was okay, quite short. This story took about half an hour to read. There are some editing issues that I found a little distracting. I received a free copy of this story via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I enjoyed Mason & Taylor's book. It was an entertaining read. And a new author, for me. I got a copy of the book. And am voluntarily leaving my review.
*I won this in a Goodreads Giveaway* This was a pleasant story, but I didn’t really feel any chemistry between the characters. Still a fun read, just wish there was more to it.
