Karin is a vampire with a twist--she experiences intense bleeding from her nose once a month--so instead of stealing blood from humans, she gives her blood to them and if done properly, the benefits are positive to both.
Yuna Kagesaki (影崎 由那 Kagesaki Yuna ) is a manga artist, born on March 3, 1973 , best known for being the author of the manga Chibi Vampire. Her work has been published under four different names: Yuna Kagesaki (影崎 由那 Kagesaki Yuna) (professionally published non-pornographic comics, except for Sakura no Ichiban), Yuna Kagezaki (影崎 由那 Kagezaki Yuna?) (same characters but different readings; only in Taishō Komachi Jikenchō Sakura no Ichiban!) Yūna Kagesaki (影崎 夕那 Kagesaki Yūna) (spelled with different kanji) when drawing CG's for PC games, and Yuta Kageyama (影山 由多 Kageyama Yuta) when drawing hentai manga or HCG's for PC games. Her real name is presumedly Keya, as she calls herself in the bonus comic strips at the end of volume 3 of her work Hekikai no AiON. In middle school she was a member of the brass band.
Kann es vielleicht doch Liebe sein? Aber warum geht es nicht voran? Zeit, einzugreifen?
After months of misunderstandings, clumsy falls, and a bite mark later, Karin and Kenta have finally made some small steps towards approaching their feelings towards each other by holding hands.
However, are they ready to take it any further or do they want to stay in their “normal” space. When Maki, Karin’s best friend, sets them up on a Valentine’s Day date to the zoo, it forces the two to spend some time together outside work, school, and their usual chaos. Will Karin finally fully confess her feelings? Will Kenta acknowledge his own feelings once he figures things out?
Side note: I loved the bonus story at the end explaining Karin and Maki’s friendship origin story when they were younger. It was so. Adorable 🥰
Maki mi sta piacendo moltissimo come personaggio secondario.
I'm really enjoying this manga series, but something has been nagging in the back of my head. It's probably my fault since I watched the manga first, but I have noticed a lot of differences. Like there is currently no vampire hunter boy that is in love with Karin (forgot his name xD) I kinda miss that drama. But hey still worth reading.
In this volume we get to go ahhhh a couple more times.
Maki does what any besty will do and asked Kenta if he liked liked Karin.
Apparently Kenta has led a kinda sheltered life or just doesn't think of girls in that way and is starting to realize "hey dummy! maybe I do like her" and when Maki gives them both tickets to the zoo on Valentine's day he *gasp* agrees and goes with Karin where they run away from poo throwing monkeys. It was most awesome.
A new character is in the story who I'm assuming is going to make the love triangle... cuz every story needs one of those to make it believable ;) HAHAHS! I don't think the author is too keen on it. She made fun of it in her author comic .... which was most awesome. The new girl's name is Yuriya and I kinda think she has a secret but they didn't go into much detail... just gave us enough to leave us guessing... Like maybe she's a werewolf or something.
OH! And this comic brought the funny back!! Squee!! Jokes are scattered all throughout this book and I really really enjoyed that.
I guess I will be taking a break from Chibi for a bit but I totally can't wait to read more. These books are so much fun!
Everytime I read this series I forget how much I love it. In this volume Maki is trying to get Karin and Kenta to take the next step but at least admitting that they like each other. Even though Kenta wasn't even thinking of anyone including Karin in that way. She sets up a chance for them to go on a date to the Zoo. Also there is a new girl in town that is working with them at the restaurant. In this volume the introduce her but we really don't know much about her. Looking forward to finding out more about this new girl and how Karin and Kenta date is going :)
I thought Chibi Vampire Volume 8 was really funny, there were so many parts that had me laughing out loud. I loved the storyline and the characters were amazing, I thought they were all funny in their own way. The only character I didn't like was Yuriya Tachibana. Although, I am very curious to find out what her secret is. Overall, a very thrilling and funny little manga that will have anyone laughing out loud. I'd recommend this to anyone who likes a good laugh and also anyone who is a fan of manga or vampires.
This one reads like a transitional story. Maki gets a bigger role trying to set Karin and Kenta up as a couple and a romantic rival is introduced (though there doesn't seem to be as much connected romantically to Kenta). It doesn't come to a conclusion in this volume but the cliffhanger is not as extreme as previous volumes.
These are super cute and fun to read. Karin is a klutz and pretty much hilarious. I love Anju's creepiness and her dolls are definitely up there in the scary factor. I didn't expect the interesting side stories going on while Karin is still trying to figure out how to seal with Kenta so those are an added bonus.
I'm looking forward to delving into the rest of the series!
After months of little romantic development, are Karin and Kenta ready to take a big step forward in their relationship? With the young couple finally starting to hold hands in public, Maki forces the issue by setting up a date.
This is a fun series to read and I enjoyed it. I like that the relationship between Usui and Maaka is finally evolving and that the characters are developing a little more. I want to see where it'll go and I hope they'll continue to be interesting.
I love this series! I kin of hated the anime because I thought their voices were wack, but now that I've read the manga, I can totally picture them with those voices.
