Get ready for a hilarious out-of-this-world adventure for listeners aged 8+—this is the perfect series for fans of Tom Gates, Andy Griffiths and Star Wars!
It’s the year 2525, and things aren’t looking great for Planet Earth. An endless night is coming—a super-advanced alien spaceship has stopped the world from turning, threatening the existence of every creature on the planet—and it turns out that ten-year-old Eliza Lemon is the only one who can save them!
Will she be able to handle alien overlords, a doughnut-shaped spaceship, monkeys and vampire finches? And, most importantly of all, will she be able to rescue her baby brother, save the world and survive THE FUTURE?
For more out-of-this-world fun don't forget to listen to Eliza and Johnnie's first two adventures in How to Survive Without Grown-Ups and How to Survive Time Travel.
This is loads of fun - space monkeys, time travelling sofas, younger brothers, bullies-come-allies, frozen dads and saving the world from the future. I reckon kids are going to love this! Loads of illustrations to go with a great story and brilliant characters!
Why would you leave us on that note? So Eliza is stuck in the future after disappearing at the end of the last book and is being forced to become the hero that she does not want to be. Bring on the space monkeys, younger brother antics, school bullies undergoing a redemption arc, frozen parents and being stuck in the future. It was an action packed adventure with so much that can go wrong and does go wrong, as well as genius calculations that don't work out quite as planned. I am really looking forward to the next book as once again not everything is resolved at the end.
