********************UPDATE******************** I listened to the audiobook of this collection. It was so much fun to go back to this sweet town and listen to all three books back to back! When I read them, I waited a year in between each story. But this was fantastic to be able to see all of the connections between the three books and characters. And how the three storylines lined up. Definitely an audiobook I highly recommend listening to, especially while you're busy with all of your Christmas and Holiday preparations! It'll help the tasks and time pass pleasantly!!! ***********************************************
I loved each book in this collection! All 5 star reads for me. They are sweet and swoony and full of Christmas cheer and magic!!! You can read my individual reviews for each book if you want. There is a content section for each individual book! Enjoy!!!
~The Christmas Pact~ 5* ~
Can I just tell you how much I adored this book???? So stinking cute! Noelle and Jack were just charming together. I like Hallmark movies but they can get a little redundant. This book was so much better than sitting and watching a Hallmark movie!!!
The fun Christmas activities that are traditions in Noelle's family had me wishing I was right there participating along with them all. Jack took some time to warm up to it all. But I loved when he finally let himself relax and enjoy being surrounded by Noelle's family and having fun with Noelle and his nephew. These two characters have some healing to do in regards to Christmas. They both wanted to avoid the activities and in their minds, they have some good reasons for it. But there's nothing like healing and being able to move forward when you have the love and support of family and friends. And that's just what happens for Noelle and Jack. *grinning*
It made me start thinking about what traditions I have around this time of year and hoping I can be a light to those around me and help them feel the spirit of Christmas and joy in their lives. But I especially hope that my family feels that!
There are a few complications. The biggest of which is that Jack is Noelle's boss. And in his eyes, it just won't work for him to be around her more and more because he needs to keep professional boundaries in place. Yet, Noelle has a way of touching hearts with her bigger than life personality that's full of joy and sweetness. Jack might just be in trouble!!! Hee Hee! Oh it's so cute. Seriously read it!!! This might be my favorite of Meg Easton's books so far (and that's saying something because I adore her books)!
Content: Clean. A couple kisses but nothing further. A character has cancer and that is discussed some but not in great detail.
I received a copy from the author. All thoughts and opinions in the review are my own.
Happy Reading!!!
~The Christmas Bet~ 5* ~
Such a sweet and cute Christmas story! Rachel and Nick don't know what's coming for them this Christmas but they're going to discover it's going to be wonderful and magical!
I loved these two so much. Especially Rachel and her close friends who are trying to help her. It's "Yes" season and Rachel is supposed to say yes to most everything. Of course she can say no and not have it backfire in the bet her friends made with her. "Yes" within reason. And I loved how it not only opened Rachel up to more opportunities and experiences than she could have imagined, but it taught her to let life come and experience it instead of holding on tightly to that carefully planned out and organized life.
There are a couple of cute little kids in this one. Rachel's son and Nick's daughter. Neither of which have had the easiest go at life. They've been loved and well cared for, but they're missing pieces of their hearts. Having them team up and get their parents working together was pure genius. What they discover is magic and healing and love in their lives.
Super sweet and delightful read. I highly recommend it!

~The Christmas Clause~ 5* ~
I love a good hockey romance! I've read several over the last couple of years and they're super fun. I grew up going to many hockey games, professional down to high school teams and street hockey. So when all these hockey books from favorite authors started showing up I was pretty excited. My dad and I would go together and those are some of my favorite and cherished memories. They're pretty loud and wild and cold and fun! I haven't been to any games in years so reading about them has been a blast and brings back those memories!
Poor Connor Greene, he's being transferred from one team to another. And he's not too thrilled about it. He's heading back to a place that doesn't hold the best memories for him. And it's right before Christmas. He has no choice but to go and say goodbye to his family. But luckily for him, he's given the chance to fix a few things and spend time with a great family who is connected to the team.
Katie is a videographer who is really good at what she does. When her dad tells her that the hockey team he works for is doing some video features of different players and she's being matched with one, she's thrilled to get more notice for her business. Except when she discovers who the player is at her family Christmas party. Hahaha! And that he was the dude from the night before at the department store. You'll have to read the book to discover what their meet-cute is. Oh poor Connor! Hahaha! He really does need everyone he can get in his corner right now!
There were so many scenes I adored in this book. They were delightful and heartwarming. Meg Easton is such a fantastic writer and excels at leaving you feeling happy and completely absorbed in her books. I was laughing and grinning and cheering these two characters on in their story. Connor has had some hard things and Katie is just adorably sweet and the perfect one to help Connor in his healing.
And I can't forget to mention that scene with a handful of hockey players, lots of flowers and lots of smiles! You'll love it!
If you haven't read the previous two books in this series, don't worry, you can enjoy each one as a standalone. But if you've read them, you'll enjoy seeing some cameos of previous characters. I'm sad to see this series end but I know that there will be lots more great books to come from this author! Can't wait to see what they are!
Content: Clean. Sweet and adorable Christmas book with some kisses and nothing further.

Three adorable Christmas romances with so much charm and swoon! I loved each story and the audiobook narrators did a wonderful job. This boxed set is the perfect way to get in the holiday spirit and gets a very enthusiastic five stars from me!
I received a complimentary copy but a positive review was not required.
This 3 book collection was delightful and oh so fun to listen to! Meg writes swoony, charming hallmarkesque contemporary romances and this one was no different. I thoroughly enjoyed all 3 stories in this collection. The narrator did a really fantastic job. I really enjoyed the audio!
The Christmas Pact has all the Sweet Hallmark vibes you could want in a short story! Needing a short story with ALL the Christmas feels and some sweet swoony moments? Try The Christmas Pact by Meg Easton. I adored this story and enjoyed the celebrations, the heart, the boss workplace romance. Meg does it all in a tasteful way.
Content Warnings: No swearing, kissing only, hard topics: grief, cancer, death (past), abuse (past)
The Christmas Bet is another short sweet Hallmarkesque Christmas romance. This one had lots of Christmas cheer, single parents, and swoony moments. I adored Rachel and Nick’s story. Especially their interactions with each others’ children. So cute!
Content Warnings: Passionate kissing, death (past), grief, cancer (past), mention of child born out of wedlock
The Christmas Clause is a delightful closed door hockey romance that takes place around Christmas and is complete with frenemies to more, meet-cute, and small-town Christmasy vibes. It was delightful and very swoon worthy.
A Mountain Springs Christmas -A 3-Book Christmas Romance Collection- by: Meg Easton @megeaston_author
-I give 4.5 stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
“You make me feel like coming home."
📚🎄✨-This compilation of Christmas stories is delightful. Each story is a quick read and will make you smile, as you see dear characters helping to bring Christmas to those around themselves. In each of the three stories, you will find delightful humor, struggles, tenderness, swoony moments, holiday vibes, and such heart! I enjoyed seeing dear characters grow along the way, with realizing snd understanding what’s important. I liked that each story can stand on its own, yet the family and characters become more familiar and welcoming in each story you read. Whether you are looking for forbidden love, forced proximity, or a sports romance, this set of sweet stories has you covered. This dear Christmas romance collection filled with delightful sparks of chemistry and sweet small-town charm is worth the read! 🙌🏻📚🎄🥰
“We’ve got forever ahead of us.”
-Content: terminal illness of a loved one, loss of a loved one, bad memories of high school, references to living through parents divorcing, romance- kisses only.
“Whatever life throws at us or our little family, we can handle.”
-I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.
“If she got to spend her life with him, that really was all she needed.”
These well written Christmas romances have great plots, vibrant and lovable characters, and swoony chemistry. In A Christmas Pact, Noelle and Jack each have their own reasons for wanting to skip Christmas but together they find a reason to celebrate. In A Christmas Bet, Rachel and Nick, find love again. The journey to open up to loving someone after being hurt, in whatever way, can be scary. The presence of two six-year-olds in the story brings humor and tenderness. Healing and forgiveness are themes of this inspiring story, as well as learning to be flexible and seek after the good things in life. In The Christmas Clause, Katie and Connor have great chemistry and relationship magic. They have engaging personalities and intriguing backgrounds that add depth to their story. The “no-relationship clause” in Katie’s contract created an expectation of conflict that never materialized. However, the delightful Christmas activities and lively family gatherings make for page-turning entertainment.
I highly recommend all of Meg Easton’s books. She writes fabulous romances and keeps it clean.
What could be better than one Meg Easton Christmas romance? Three Christmas romances in one fantastic collection. This collection is an absolute must for fans of sweet Christmas romance! Every single book was absolutely wonderful! While all of the books are connected, you could definitely enjoy each one as a standalone as well... but trust me, you're going to want to read them all! Each story is a sweet romance that is heartfelt and filled with Christmas cheer and tradition... perfect for the holiday season. This is definitely one you're going to want on your holiday TBR!
**ARC received for consideration. All opinions are my own.
Romance is always fun with Meg Easton This is a compilation of three wonderful Christmas themed books by Meg Easton. Each sure to bring a smile to your face as you watch the characters working to bring Christmas to others. Each book has tenderness, struggles, and caring as the characters grow and realize the value of what is before them. A wonderful read you are sure to enjoy.
I love these books! I originally read all three of them as they were released and I’m excited to see them as a collection now. Seriously you are going to want to read them back to back. They are some of my favorite Christmas stories. The books are full of Christmas magic, hot cocoa drinking, family traditions, and I can’t forget the swoony kisses. They definitely give off all the Hallmark vibes. Meg Easton is a talented author who writes the sweetest romances. These books and characters will stay with you.
*all books are 5 stars *all books can be read as stand-alones (though characters do crossover)
1. The Christmas Pact Reader’s Notes: - this is told from Noelle and Jack’s points of view
Review: I love Noelle’s family and their traditions! And it was so fun to experience the things Noelle and her Gran did with Noelle’s stories and people who didn’t know what to expect from the events.
Summary: This story follows Jack (a Grinchy guy and Noelle’s boss) and Noelle (a girl who is avoiding Christmas since she lost her Gran and it was their favorite time of year). When Jack is tasked with giving his nephew the best Christmas, he turns to his employees for help. And Noelle is at first willing to help (she does need money to fix her car and all), until she realizes that Christmas is involved.
But then a mysterious package appears at Noelle’s and she changes her mind on helping Jack and his nephew. Not only that, but she is determined to have Jack come along for the ride. Which makes things interesting when both Jack and Noelle think they are catching feelings and others catch on…
2. The Christmas Bet
Reader’s Notes:
– this is told from Rachel & Nick’s points of view
– Nick’s wife passed away a little over a year prior to the start of the story
Review: Meg, why did you make me tear up?!?! This story had given me so many emotions and it was so good! I teared up whenever Nick & Holly thought of Clara or talked to her picture on Nick’s phone. I loved how much both Rachel and Nick cared for their own kids and then each other’s kids as they spent more time together. I loved both Holly & Aiden’s thought processes on how people were/would be related to them if Rachel & Nick got married and what they would be able to call them. I loved that the kids ended up working together to try and make their parents want to be together more once they had that common goal instead of wanting what the other had. I loved Nick’s in-laws and how much they cared for Nick & Holly. I loved that they treated him like their son and wanted what was best for both of them. And I loved how both their families accepted that the kids wanted to claim each other’s relatives as their own and allowed them to do that despite Rachel and Nick only having just started dating.
Summary: Rachel wants to give Aiden the best Christmas this year since she couldn’t do so the year before due to her cancer. So she has planned every part of her day to fill it with all the things she has planned for them to do as well as the things she has to do for work. But when she also agrees to a bet that her coworkers present to her, her plans go off the rails in the best ways possible. Saying yes to a bunch of things that normally she wouldn’t for one reason or another is thrilling to Rachel, mainly because it brings a huge smile to her son’s face. And when saying yes brings her to meet the man of her dreams, Rachel is thrown off kilter.
Nick and his daughter, Holly, just moved into town for a new start after having lost his wife the year before. He hopes to bring joy to Holly this Christmas season in the form of new places, new traditions, and the family that lives nearby. Nick never expected his in-laws to suggest that he start dating again, even though his wife had told him the same before she passed. How can Nick move on to someone else when he still yearns for her? When Nick meets Rachel as they sign-up for helping with the set for the class’s Christmas program, he finds that maybe he can love again. But is this love strong enough to allow him to be there fully for Rachel and her son or will his love be limited now that he’s had and lost his love?
3. The Christmas Clause
Reader’s Notes: – at the end of this book there is a series epilogue from each of the main female characters of the series
– this is told from Katie & Connor’s points of view
– Connor grew up troubled during his parents’ divorce & due to some broken promises
Review: I’m sad to see that this is the end of the series, but I loved every single second of it! I loved all the holiday themed events that Katie & Connor attended and how they made the two of them grow closer together. Katie’s family’s traditions were so much fun and I loved that both Katie & Connor were determined to win the competition. Their creativeness with their dinner ingredients was amazing (and kind of made me want to try one or two of them). I also loved that Katie’s stubbornness inadvertently caused them to get closer together. I loved the events that occurred after one particular event of stubbornness where Connor got to take care of Katie!
Summary: Katie has dreams of being a great videographer, but is having difficulty getting her business off the ground. So when an offer to follow a hockey team member for some feel good holiday clips in order to bring the whole team’s reputation to a better standing, Katie is thrilled. That is until she happens upon the player she’s meant to follow. Connor went to her high school and caused her some distress in the midst of causing trouble around school back when she was a freshman. Needless to say she doesn’t have a favorable opinion of Connor, which could be bad for her assignment. Can she find good in Connor when she already feels this way about him?
Connor is not thrilled to be traded to a new team just a few days before Christmas. He’s especially not thrilled to have been traded back to his hometown that he planned on never returning to, not after everything that went down there. The second he can, Connor’s requesting to be traded just about anywhere else. But soon after getting into town Connor bumps into someone so intriguing that it has him second guessing the decision to leave when he can. Katie is not only beautiful, but also has a determined and fiery spirit that leaves him wanting to know more about her. He just needs to show her that who he truly is is not the same person she knew in high school…
A fantastic boxset and set of stories that I loved. Each story centred around a Christmas loving family and the women that find their happily ever after with the most amazing men. I listened to the audiobook that was narrated by Adrienne Fleming who did an excellent job of reading these stories.
The Christmas Pact Book 1 Can he find the Christmas spirit? Jack has liked Noelle romantically for quite some time but has never done anything about it as she is his employee. Noelle has never realised this until she took on an extra little job for him and they spend so much time together and she sees him in another light. Can Noelle melt Jack’s frozen Christmas heart and have him enjoy all things Christmas? Will he find a way to let his feelings for her known? Such a lovely story with so many Christmas events that Noelle’s family participate in. With a little boy’s Christmas made special with the help of Noelle and her family, Jack’s life is forever altered.
The Christmas Bet Book 2 I love Christmas romances Rachel, having raised her 6 year old son Aiden all on her own is a planner and organiser of everything. Her best friends make a Christmas bet with her that she has to say yes to everything she is asked, within reason, or she has to face the consequences. Out of her comfort zone Her son soon realises and at times takes advantage. Nick, widowed with a 6 year old daughter Holly has just moved to town to be closer to family. Busy at work and being a sole parent his time is limited. This is a really lovely, sweet book about two people coming together to help make their children’s Christmas pageant special by making a living room set complete with a fake chimney. Both families having been through pretty traumatic times in the last year learn how to open their hearts to new possibilities, even if it is a scary prospect for all. Great characters, children and adorable dogs make this an enjoyable Christmas read.
The Christmas Clause Book 3 Redeeming himself I loved this story from beginning to end and adored both Connor and Katie. This was a beautiful story of forgiveness, Christmas fun and traditions plus helping others when in need. Katie was the independent younger sister whose pride and stubbornness was very nearly her downfall, until along came Connor to rescue her. Connor unhappy with where he has been traded to, seeks an alternative until he meets the gorgeous Katie. Spending time with her and her family has him rethinking his decision. Will he stay or leave as he initially planned?
I love these box sets! This one by Meg Easton is so great!
The Christmas Pact Noelle. I loved her character. It made me a little sad just how much she missed her Gran-gran. That’s what made the Christmas season hard for her. Christmas was something she had shared so much with Gran-gran. The two of them were the very best of friends. This is the first Christmas that Noelle will be navigating it without her. So when her boss, Jack, has a special paid project he needs done, Noelle is in. She volunteers without even knowing what she’s volunteering for.
Jack needs someone to help him give his adorable nephew, Aiden, the best Christmas ever. Only he doesn’t know how. That’s why he was happy Noelle was willing to help. It was fun to watch the two of them trying to get through a Christmas that they both knew was going to be hard, for whatever reason. I loved the way they helped each other out. And the way they were together, so great!
The Christmas Bet Rachel is a character that we first met in The Christmas Pact. It made me so happy to see her doing well. And getting her own story too. Rachel’s friends talk her into having a season of yes. She has to say yes to everything, within reason. That leads her to doing things she wouldn’t normally do. I loved that! And her little boy, Aiden, was so cute!
I loved the way Nick and Rachel meet. Nick is tangled up in the whole display of noisy Christmas wreaths. And he may accidentally throw one or two. So funny! Nick’s daughter Holly is in Aiden’s class, and they don’t get along. When Holly and Aiden sign Rachel and Nick up to help make a class project, things get really interesting.
The Christmas Clause I loved Katie. Things seem to be lining up for her. She's got a job as a videographer for the Denver Glaciers and she knows it will bring so much exposure to her little business. But...she has to work with the one person from high school she never wanted to see again, Connor Greene. I loved the way these two were able to put the past behind them and grow to like and even more than like each other.
Connor has just been traded to the Denver Glaciers. He didn't even get to go to his apartment and pack before he was supposed to be on the plane. And he wanted nothing to do with going back to his hometown of Mountain Springs. He just wanted to be traded again. I loved the way his attitude changes as he's with Katie. And the way he saves her when no one else would have been able to was so sweet.
Wow! This adorable, interconnected set of Christmas novellas was an absolutely fun and endearing read! I loved all of the Christmas traditions that were scattered throughout the stories as well as the hint of Christmas magic that weaved its way into the characters' hearts.
First up, we have Noelle and Jack! Jack's been Noelle's boss for a while, and even though he finds her distractingly attractive, he's never once considered dating her. He's seen one too many office dating dramas cause businesses to suffer, and he doesn't want to endager his growing business and the trust of his employees by dating Noelle. But desperate times call for desperate measures, and Jack decides to hire Noelle to help give his nephew a perfect Christmas. As Noelle's big family embraces Jack, his sister Rachel, and her son Aiden, both Jack and Noelle find their Grinch-mas hearts melting and healing, in more ways than one. But can the Christmas magic overcome the barriers between the two of them?
Next, we've got Rachel and Nick! Rachel, Jack's sister, was in the first novella, and I definitely did a little happy dance when I found out she was going to get her own happily ever after. After having spent the previous Christmas mostly out of commission with chemo treatments, I was so happy to see her get a chance at love. Nick was the biggest cinnamon roll MMC, a committed and involved dad still working through the grieving process over the loss of his wife. Take a single dad and a single mom and you've got love just waiting to emerge!
Finally, Katie's story! Her and Connor had the most awful "meet cute" in high school, followed by a second awkward meet cute in a department store (there may have been men's underwear involved). It seems that the two of them couldn't have gotten off to a worse start. But the sparks fly when they race to win a Christmas-themed cooking competition with Katie's family. Katie's been looking for a sweep-me-off-my-feet love for years but has never found it- but Connor just might be what she didn't know she needed.
With the quick read novella format, cute Christmas traditions, and strong family bonds, this is definitely a book I would recommend!
Thank you to the author Meg Easton @megeaston_author for the #gifted audiobook.
If you’re looking for a heartwarming collection of Christmas stories to brighten your holiday season, A Mountain Springs Christmas by Meg Easton is a perfect pick! This audiobook includes three delightful novellas, each filled with festive joy, charming romances, and all the cozy vibes of the season. Narrated beautifully by Adrienne Fleming, her performance truly brings these characters and their stories to life, making this collection an absolute treat for audiobook lovers.
The Christmas Pact The first story introduces us to Noelle and Jack in a grumpy-sunshine, coworkers-to-lovers romance that’s as sweet as it is heartfelt. Watching them team up to create a magical Christmas for Jack’s nephew was adorable, and their dynamic brought plenty of smiles and swoons. A perfect way to kick off this collection!
The Christmas Bet Rachel and Nick take center stage in the second novella, both navigating life as single parents whose kids are rivals at school. Their story is filled with heart, humor, and a delightful enemies-to-lovers energy as they find common ground amidst the chaos. It’s a story of family, love, and second chances that captures the essence of Christmas.
The Christmas Clause Katie and Connor’s story rounds out the set, promising a charming romance that ties everything together with warmth and holiday cheer. This was my favorite of the 3 and is a bit of a sports romance with a handsome hockey star! it offers a satisfying and festive conclusion to this collection.
Final Thoughts Meg Easton delivers a trio of lovely holiday romances that will leave you smiling. Whether it’s the grumpy sunshine dynamic, the relatable challenges of single parenthood, or the sparks of a budding romance, there’s something for everyone in A Mountain Springs Christmas. With Adrienne Fleming’s excellent narration adding depth and personality to each story, this audiobook is an ideal choice for anyone craving the magic of Christmas in their reads.
Highly recommended for fans of holiday-themed romances!
Quotes: “You make me feel like coming home.” “We’ve got forever ahead of us.”
The Christmas Clause This story scored a goal for me because of family, romance, Christmas, and hockey. It was interesting to learn how Katie Allred knew Connor Greene from high school. I am so glad her opinion of him changed as she worked on videographing him for the Denver Glaciers hockey team. They were such good friends once they got over their feelings about the past. The family activities that Katie and Connor participated in sounded like a lot of fun. I enjoyed reading the epilogues for one year and five years too! I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
The Christmas Pact This book was sweet, fun, and romantic as Noelle and Jack made a Christmas pact because Noelle is not looking forward to a Christmas without her beloved Gran-gran and Jack is a Grinch because of his childhood. The activities Noelle did with her family sounded like so much fun. It made me want to be a part of her family and participate along with them. What a nice way to honor her Gran-gran. I especially liked the end of the book and how this book left me hopeful about facing a holiday without a special loved one. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
The Christmas Bet This was such a fun, enjoyable Christmas story. The characters pulled me quickly into the book, which I liked. Rachel had a six year old son named Aiden and she had made a bet with her two best friends to Say Yes to the Season.
Nick had a six year old daughter named Holly. He had recently moved to Mountain Springs and was living with his in-laws while fixing up his new house. Clara, his wife, died and she made him promise to remarry.
I enjoyed how Nick met Rachel and how their kids did not seem to like each other. It was interesting to find out why they were jealous of each other. I especially liked how Nick and Rachel brought out the best in each other. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
I loved this wonderful collection of Christmas romances. I originally read each of them as they were released, and I can't wait to listen to the audiobook version now.
A Christmas Pact I loved this sweet holiday romance. It was full of heartwarming Christmas-centered activities, Christmas spirit, and humor. I also loved the chemistry between Jack and Noelle and how sweet Jack was with his nephew. I loved reading how they made Christmas fun for Jack's nephew and how Jack and Noelle managed to get their well-deserved happy ending. A magical romance I highly recommend, especially for this winter season when we all need some festive cheer.
A Christmas Bet This story was heartwarming and fun. I loved that single parents Nick and Rachel had super-cute kids who inadvertently got their parents working together on a school Christmas program. Both had reservations about starting a relationship but couldn't deny their attraction. Meg Easton has a beautiful way of drawing you into her stories and making you root so hard for the characters that you finish the book with a happy sigh and a smile.
A Christmas Clause It was clear from the minute Katie and Connor literally bumped into each other that they had loads of chemistry. I loved how quickly they overcame their unfortunate meet-cute and how easy their relationship was afterward. However, like any good romance, this story was not without trials and heartache.
Each chapter was such fun to read. I enjoyed the witty dialogue, the fabulous games and activities that Katie's family got involved with, not to mention the scrapes Katie managed to end up in! I had to keep turning the page until Katie and Connor got their happy ending.
The series epilogue was fun. I loved the glimpse into all the couples' futures. So cute.
Meg Easton knows how to write heartwarming stories with great characters you can easily connect with, and you can't help but care about them. Trust me, this box set will give you all the feels. I highly recommend it!
A Mountain Springs Christmas is a collection of Meg Easton’s previously released Christmas stories. They are sweet Christmas romantic comedies which contain no sex scenes or profanity. These stories are perfect for fans of Hallmark movies. The Christmas Pact
Noelle Allred lost her love for Christmas after her beloved grandmother died. Now she’s skipping Christmas. Then Jack Meadows, her Grinch-like boss, begs her to help him create a magical holiday for his sick nephew. Noelle and Jack bond while participating in traditional holiday activities and fall in love. There’s a little suspense due to a mysterious package from the North Pole. The Christmas Bet
Last year Rachel Meadows was too busy fighting cancer to enjoy Christmas with her son. This year she plans to make up for it and have an unforgettable holiday. Things take a turn when she meets widower Nick Stewart and his daughter. The children don’t get along until they start matchmaking their parents. The Christmas Clause
Hockey star Connor Greene is back in his hometown of Mountain Springs for the holiday. He’s tasked with appearing in videos to promote his new hockey team’s image. He quickly connects with Katie Allred, the videographer. However Connor only plans to stay in Mountain Springs for a short time. Can he and Katie figure out a way to stay together? All of the stories in A Mountain Springs Christmas are well-written and have realistic characters with some tragic history. The adults quickly fall in love due to the magical holiday season but have to figure out how to make their relationships work over time. I especially like how each tale includes both family love and romantic love. These sweet Christmas stories are perfect for fans of Hallmark movies. I received an advance review copy (ARC) from the author for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. I previously read the individual stories through a paid Kindle Unlimited subscription.

🛑Read on with caution; review may contain spoilers🛑
A Mountain Springs Christmas is a collection of 3 Christmas romance books: The Christmas Pact, which is about the budding romance between Noelle and her boss, Jack, The Christmas Bet, which is about Jack’s sister Rachel and her “season of yes” bet with her friends, and how she met fellow single parent Nick through that bet, and The Christmas Clause, which is about Noelle’s sister Katie, a videographer tasked with filming transferee (?) NHL player Connor for a video feature for their hockey team. (Sorry, that was a long sentence lol 😅)
All three stories were sweet and highlight the Christmas spirit I look forward to in a holiday novel. While I was reading the first book, I thought that the Allred Christmas traditions were quite excessive, but for a big family, I guess it just fits right with them. I really enjoyed how these traditions brought the 3 couples closer, and it was fun seeing the kids Aiden and Holly, who were initially fighting because of jealousy at the beginning of The Christmas Bet, bond over those Christmas activities.
The audiobook narrator was also a delight to listen to. She has a calming voice that really represents the main characters but also could modulate her voice when talking as another character in the stories. I usually space out whenever I listen to purely narrated audiobooks, but not with this one! I enjoyed listening to the ALC and didn’t space out one bit!
For a light, easy, and charming Christmas romance read, pick up this series by Meg Easton!
This is a great series. You will love each of the books. The Christmas Pact Noelle loves Christmas, but her gran-gran passed away last year. She decides not to celebrate Christmas this year. Her boss' sister is fighting cancer so he asks her to help make Christmas special for his nephew. (He dislikes Christmas and doesn't want to do it.) They make a pact to do it for his nephew. Great book with lots of Christmas traditions
The Christmas Bet Rachel is a single mom. Aiden is 6. Rachel's parents died when she was 18 and she raised her 15 yr old brother, Jack. When he went off the college and she was alone, she made a mistake and got pregnant. Now she lives by her planner. Her friends encourage her to say yes to whatever she is asked this Christmas season. She says yes to helping make the set for the school play. Nick's wife had died suddenly leaving him with a young daughter. He moved to be closer to his in-laws. He and Rachel end up working on the school set together. The kids play matchmaker as much as 6 yr old's can.
The Christmas Clause Katie is a videographer trying to get her business off the ground. When the Denver Glaciers ask her to shadow a player to do publicity for the team, she is thrilled. Conner had grown up in Mountain Springs. His parent's marriage had blown up and he was a rebellious teenager. When he is traded right before Christmas, he is not happy. Any town or team except his home town. As they navigate the activities, Katie's dad invites Conner to their Christmas festivities since he's in town alone for the holidays. Katie isn’t excited to have Conner back in town. She remembers his rebellious days. Great book of family and Christmas traditions.
Christmas Pact - Noelle, who loved Christmas, until she lost her gran gran, now Christmas just holds memories of the woman she loved. Jack is her boss who doesn't like Christmas, as he has no happy memories of the holiday. Rachel, Jack's sister, is very ill. She wants Jack to give her son, Aidan Christmas memories. As these two find their Christmas joy while building memories for Aidan. Along the way they realize their attraction. This will get you into the Christmas spirit. Christmas Bet -Nick and Holly are moving on from the loss of their wife/mother. Rachel and Aiden are enjoying their holiday. Rachel is a very regimented woman. Their two precious children bring them together and fate take holds. The story is told through both Rachel and Nick's pov. Holly and Aiden make the story fun. I truly enjoyed this story. Both Nick and Rachel needed to get it out of their comfort zone. Nick needed to learn to move on. Rachel needed to say 'yes' to something for herself. She does everything for others. Christmas Clause - It was easy to read and the characters were extremely likeable. Katie is a videographer whose business is still floundering. Her father gives her a break following the newest Glacier. Connor has been traded to the Glacier just before Christmas. He is not happy to be back in Denver. Katie knew Connor in high school, he's the boy who ruined her freshmen dance. She's not happy about following him around. However, she soon realizes that this is a new Connor and she may be attracted to him. Over the weeks the two become close and their fate is sealed. I love the thought of the videos Katie puts together for her family. This is a second chance romance.
Great book really enjoyed reading it. It consists of six individuals who come together to form three couples. It involves two sisters and a brother and sister and two heroes who are not part of either families. One couple is the owner and boss of a company who hired one h and is drawn to her. Their relationship begins to develop when he hires her for another job involving his nephew, he needs her to help him give his nephew a great Christmas. The h involves the H and his nephew in the Christmas festivities in their town and in her family. Another couple consists of the sister of the H in the previous story and a single father who has recently moved to the town. Their children, a boy and a girl, are in the same class and each wants their single parent to construct a prop for the school Christmas pageant. In the end they construct the project together and in the process begin developing a relationship. The third couple know each other from high school but were not friends. They even a bad experience that resulted in the h thinking badly of the H. The h is hired to make a video of the H as he participates in Christmas festivities that can be used for promotional purposes. In the process she forgives him for what happened in high school and their relationship grows. The relationships of each couple is not all smooth but in the end they find their HEA. Each couple gets married and are joined together to become an even larger family of the two sisters that are part of two couples. Hope you enjoy reading this book as much as I did. Great holiday read.
The Christmas Pact --Noelle and Jack make such a cute couple. They both have reasons that celebrating Christmas is hard this year, but there is a little boy who needs their help. There is a lot of Christmas magic in this story, and everyone gets their happy ending. The Christmas Bet --I really enjoyed this sweet Christmas story. The bet is between Rachel and two of her friends. After a difficult illness the previous Christmas, Rachel has gotten a little too attached to her schedules and plans. Her friends want her to say yes to new opportunities and make a bet with her to encourage that. Nick shows up as a very attractive opportunity. Both Rachel's and Nick's children are in the same class, and they end up volunteering on the same project. Nick has his own challenges because he was widowed fourteen months previously. But friends, family, and dogs help Rachel and Nick see what they really want for this Christmas and many more to come. The Christmas Clause --A fun way to end this Christmas series! Katie gets a great opportunity to work for her local NHL team, but it turns out to involve a guy that she disliked in high school (not for bullying reasons). Connor has gotten really attractive, but she knows that she should keep her distance and see if he has grown up. He meets every challenge that Christmas throws at him with his best or an apology if it wasn't quite his best. Katie can't help falling for him, but what if he is about to be traded again?
This set of Christmas stories was delightful and got better with each story told!
The charming town of Mountain Springs means many things to many people, but not quite as much to Noelle, Katie, and their family.
With Christmas traditions for the ages that every member of the family (in-laws, kids, and dates included) participate in, there are many opportunities for love. Anyone up for a hayride? IYKYK
I loved how each story could stand on its own, yet the family and characters were so familiar and welcoming in each one. The narrator, Adrienne Fleming, was so fun to listen to!
Whether you are looking for forbidden love, forced proximity, or a sports romance, this set of stories has you covered!

I've read these seperate and I wanted to share my individual reviews for this set. A good deal! Book 1: A quick read but a full story! If you love those Christmas movies and want to avoid the cheesiness this book is a good choice. I really liked the couple and their scenes together. I enjoyed the moments with Noelle's family were included. So fun! Lots of sweet moments and all the best of the Christmas season feelings. I think this book is solid for relaxing with since there's good pacing, dialogue, hea, and just a nice Christmas story!! 4 stars Book 2:I have been remise in writing a review since I have read this a few weeks ago. (Holiday craziness!) This is a good read for anytime for those who love a very sweet, small town romance though it's set in Christmas. Single parent isn't my favorite trope but not a deal breaker especially when it's an author I enjoy. The story had the Christmas movies flare that can be fun to watch but minus the bits that parts that can make your eye roll/super cheesy bits that some are known to have. The main characters were people I could enjoy and happy for their HEA. A sweet gentle romance that is nice for whenever you want to unwind. 3.5/4 Book 3: A sweet light holiday romance read minus any eye rolling cheesiness. The main characters were genuinely likeable. Getting a bit of hockey behind the scenes was great. I don't know hockey but I could follow when it was brought up. Cozy read Low angst Sports romance 4 stars
The Christmas Pact: I enjoyed the immersion in the Christmas season and even the reluctance. Things really were real when I found out the actual AML diagnosis because last year I donated stem cells to someone with that. It definitely put me in a reflective mood. I also loved being immersed in the Christmas season and the dynamic between these two. A nice real to snuggle up with.
The Christmas Bet: I read a ton of books and don’t always keep them well in my memory banks. When I saw that this book was being added to a series, I went back to see what the previous book was about and I immediately remembered it all. The mark of an excellent and impactful book. This was a lovely addition to the series and I highly recommend you read the first book first for the whole amazing experience. I loved these characters, the munchkins and their rivalry, the overcoming of painful pasts, and the yes man overtures.
The Christmas Clause: This was a fun, Christmassy romantic comedy. I loved the strong connection to the first two books that this one had. There were hints of enemies to lovers, workplace romance, and forced proximity. I really liked the interactions with children and the Christmas spirit. All of the traditions and events were enjoyable to read about.
I received ARCs of these books and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
The Christmas Pact Awesome Christmas romance. Noelle has a Christmas Eve birthday nut seems to have lost her Christmas spirit since he Gran died a year ago. Jack is a true Christmas grinch due to the terrible Christmases in his past. Together can they rediscover Christmas by helping Aiden, Jack’s nephew, create wonderful Christmas memories? Well written with such great characters that truly bring Christmas to life.
This is a wonderful collection of 3 Christmas stories. My individual reviews are below. I received a complimentary copy of this book and this is my voluntary, honest review.
The Christmas Bet Wonderful Christmas romance. Rachel is stuck in having everything scheduled and not wanting to upset the schedule. Nick is having trouble letting go of his deceased wife. These two single parents are thrust together, but they both have many obstacles to navigate if they are to get their HEA. Stepping out of their comfort zones is challenging. So is deciding what is most important. Lovely story
The Christmas Clause What a beautiful Christmas romance. Connor and Katie make a beautiful couple that has a lot to navigate. They are so well described that you can’t help but cheer for them to get their HEA. I loved all the details of the Christmas activities. A fun read with an epilogue five years later that catches you up with all the family.
I listened to this wonderful three book collection in audio form. I love Christmas anthologies because you get so much love for the season in shorter stories that make it convenient at Christmas time when everyone is so busy.
The three books are:
The Christmas Pact What happens when a Grinch and a holiday cheerleader join forces? A Christmas miracle in the making.
The Christmas Bet Neither of them is looking for love this Christmas. Their six-year-olds have other plans.
The Christmas Clause A hockey star who can’t wait to skip town. A videographer whose career relies on him.
I loved all three stories, but I think The Christmas Clause may have been my favorite. I love a good Christmas romance and I love a good sports romance. In the Christmas Clause I got both! This sweet, clean story was riddled with enough Christmas to actually make it a Christmas romance. It didn't lie to me and wasn't one of those books that mention Christmas only once. This was a big, messy family Christmas that warmed my heart and made me want to go play in the snow.
Katie and Connor were such great characters. They were starting out with a tiny bit of a rough history, but they were big enough to apologize and have the apology accepted. It was all uphill from there in the romance department!
If you need a good Christmas romance, I highly recommend any and all of these!
The Christmas Pact - Noelle and Jack do not want to celebrate Christmas but for very different reasons. Loved watching these two come together to bring all things Christmas to his nephew - adorable little boy. Romance, family and personal growth are woven throughout this book. Really liked the ending. Hope Rachel gets her own book.
The Christmas Bet - Rachel has to say YES this month. Can Rachel learn to let go and trust in love? Can Nick let go of his deceased wife and be open to a new love? Their children play matchmakers in this book and add so much to this book. Loved the encouragement from her friends and his in laws - some wise words. Really sweet ending.
The Christmas Clause - This is my favorite couple and book in this series!!!! Katie and Connor have a rather unpleasant past. When he ends up in her their hometown years later, the past and present come together. Loved seeing them get to know each other as adults and really talk about what happened. Will he find a reason to stay in Mountain Springs? Or will he leave again? The author did an amazing job of making me feel like I was right there with her family and feeling what the main characters were feeling. Great epilogue and wrap up of this series.
“A Mountain Springs Christmas” by Meg Easton THREE winning reads/listens “The Christmas Pact” by Meg Easton Learning to treasure traditions (anew) I loved this story twixt chuckles and tears as Noelle navigates the Christmas season midst thoroughly missing her Gran-Gran and Jack navigates living up to his pact to gain help sharing Christmas events with his nephew. A special story to remind one and all how special traditions are to the holiday season.
“The Christmas Bet” by Meg Easton Just say “Yes” I fell in love with Rachel and Nick and their kids, too! Two people who are forced out of their comfort zones and you get to come along for the ride. Oh, you do not want to miss this ‘Holiday Season’ story. Yes, I chuckled and there were tears, too. A super sweet clean contemporary romance and worthy read for sure. Happy Reading ! !
“The Christmas Clause” by Meg Easton A Truly Fun read I do love sweet clean love stories. Characters living a story you wish was yours, and being with them as they find their way into a bright future, correct mis-steps and poor choices along the way. Happy Reading ! !
A Mountain Springs Christmas is a collection of three stories set during the holiday season. They are all fun and really get you in the Christmas spirit. Almost as soon as I started reading, I was hooked! I felt like I was watching a Hallmark Christmas movie. The details Meg Easton writes really make you feel immersed in her stories.
The Christmas Pact is the first story. It is about Noelle and Jack, who both want to pretend it isn’t Christmas. But they are pulled in by Jack’s need to help his nephew celebrate.
Rachel and Nick are the couple from the second book, The Christmas Bet. Both are single parents, each by different circumstances. They get roped into spending time with each other by their kids.
The last book, The Christmas Clause is about Katie and Connor. They went to high school together and have some bad memories of each other. They are forced together by their jobs.
The stories all feature the Allred family in some way. It was nice to see characters from the other books in the next one. They could all be read separately, but you’ll enjoy them more as one. These stories are all sweet, clean, and low stress, each with their own HEA.
I love all three of these stories! A wonderful holiday collection!
The Christmas Pact I loved this sweet Christmas story! The relationship that Noelle had with her gran-gran was so sweet and I love that we got to see a glimpse of it. Noelle’s gran-gran influences her life for the better by helping her to remember what she loves about Christmas while finding love along the way. I love Noelle’s big family and all of their Christmas traditions! Such a fun holiday read!
The Christmas Bet This is a sweet story! You’ll be cheering for the couple to end up together. Well written.
The Christmas Clause This is such a sweet Christmas story full of romance and Christmas cheer. I loved the characters and it was so fun to see characters from precious stories in the series. If you haven’t read the other books this one will make sense as a standalone, but you should read the other books. 😉 Meg Easton is an incredible author and her books never disappoint to bring realistic characters and an amazing, heartwarming story.
