Required Reading for Those Exploring this Topic

Insightfully, intelligently, and thoroughly researched. Very well presented and pleasant to read. Author is clear about his sense of what may be going on, but leaves the reader to reach their own conclusions.

A couple of the abductees feel they lived previous lives as “aliens”. Perhaps past life regressive hypnoses, administered by highly skilled and experienced therapists, could delve into those “alien” lives to reveal what the “alien” agenda is.

I place quotes around the word alien because, while I believe something is going on, I’m not assuming these entities are from space, or alternate dimensions, or whatever. Just leaving that question open for now.

Will definitely read more of this author’s books.

I've written several books, many patents, short stories and have a knack for interviewing people and putting their experiences in writing. It was difficult for me to fully believe these encounters from two aspects. First, there was simply too much fine detail to remember in their stories for someone to recount from years to decades after their experience. Maybe these were true but embellished by the author, I don't know that. The second is that UFO encounters, though bizarre, don't appear to be in lockstep with some of these encounters. Again, I may be wrong here also. Toning things down may have put more credibility into these experiences. I hope this is taken as constructive criticism.

I have read many books by many authors on this subject..this book is truly unique..all the stories are new to me..and each story has us as readers something new to learn from the experiencers or abductees..however they prefer to call themselves..I absorbed every page..

I really like Dennett’s very straightforward and plain approach to recounting these UFOnaut experiences. They are interesting enough that they don’t need embellishments or sensationalism. These all had to do with humans being taken aboard craft, willingly or unwillingly. I hadn’t heard any of these cases before and several were an 11 out of 10 on the bizarre scale.

In one, a man meets an older, eccentric woman that is an artist. She tells him she often interacts with UFOs but he is skeptical. As they drive in her car, a heavy feeling comes over both of them. They see a UFO and the woman says they are about to be taken. She has him open a secret hidden compartment behind her glove box. In it is a large, solid gold bejeweled bracelet. She has him place it between them and rub it. The UFO disappears. She tells him she found the bracelet diving in the ocean near Spain when a telepathic voice told her to get it on the ocean floor and that it was an artifact from Atlantis.

There are many others, all of which I enjoyed. This phenomena definitely has an absurdity and irrationality to it, yet most still have similar motifs or components. I think the ETH/nuts-and-bolts theory cannot account for the behavior these being(s) exhibit.

This is a mixed bag of encounters, with varying degrees of credibility. The author claimed that they were all new, which was the main reason why I bought this book.

There are some familiar motifs: missing time, sleep paralysis, alien hybrids, etc., among the new stories.

Two of the more suspicious ones I've found in general are "letting the abductee fly the UFO" (Really? If you picked up a dog from the side of the road, would you let it drive your car?) and the fact that, even though aliens are supposedly hyperintelligent and psychic, they can't put people and their clothes back the way they were (That's the sort of mistake you might make once or twice, but there are too many stories where this happens).

Amazingly Credible

Alarmingly accurate. Great story telling. Not over written or full of fluff, but all quality content. I recommend this work.

Am I repeating myself ?

The author has a way of outlining and presentation that is pretty clear and to the point in most cases but I began seeing toward middle and end repetitive sounding stories . Wished the other Aliens descriptions were more intact from the grays experience but this definitely covers the grays in allot of their habits.I don't need to read about grays for sometime now.

Just as Reported

There were no surprises in this book. The author's analysis and speculation came after the end of the incidents, giving the reader time to fully absorb the content. I liked that very much!

Really interesting book about several peoples’ experiences with UFOs and abductions. This was the second book that I read by this author. After reading many books about abduction experiences of many different people from all walks of life, different time periods, and from different parts of the country and the world, I have found so many, many similarities in the experiences and of the abductors. At this point of my “studies” I am convinced of the realty of not only alien abductions, but of their creations of alien-human hybrids. What is the purpose, I do not know. However, in several books it has been mentioned that they (the aliens) no longer are able to reproduce due to their own DNA experiments on themselves in order to eliminate traits that the no longer desire. Also, they may be desiring to get back their ability to feel emotions that we humans are able to experience, as many abductees have been told. But at this point, I think none of us know for sure what their actual agenda is. But I am fairly convinced that they do exist, and that they do have an agenda. Damn, I wish they would contact me!
