Based on the Programme of Study for Key Stages 3 and 4, this volume forms part of a course for those pupils with special needs in maths who are unlikely to succeed beyond National Curriculum level 4. This particular manual focuses on Level 4. It features a highly structured approach and there is emphasis on building up a good maths vocabulary. Pupils are given the opportunity to feel confident and gain a felling of success before moving on to another area of study. There are opportunities for assessment both in the pupil's book and in the teacher's files (available separately).
