I gotta admit I wasn't hooked by the blurb, but after getting into the first few chapters I still wasn't hooked then as I read more I fell in love with Reagan and Tarayn they were frustrating as all get out.
Her ups and downs alone felt like the weather pressure at times but when she finally evened it all out it became a much more delicious read.
Reagan always a fan can't wait to read more from this author.

2.5 Stars....Ehhhhhhh
OK, I really loved the first book but this book just didn't live up to my expectations. Raegan was a bit of a turn-off with his humorless jokes (at least for me) and Taryn was just so "uptight" most of the time. I didn't get why he made an issuer of sleeping with a model Taryn hired more than once and yet nothing came of it and I had hoped that at least it could have added some "much needed angst" on some sort of level. Just very disappointed in this one:(

The H of this one comes off as sleazy, and not funny, more man-child, than humorous middle brother. The h came across as a scatterbrained anxious ball of nerves, she takes everything so seriously she over analyzed and stressed herself stupid about every other page. I wasn’t impressed with either of them.
Side note- why throw in there that he slept with the model he hired, more than once, as a brag, and then have nothing come of it? It was kinda annoying.
But I did enjoy the small parts of the other brothers, and over all story continuation.

Okay, it’s official. I am obsessed with catching the Bad Guy in this series. Every time Dante appears, my hair just about stands on end, even before he says-- whatever nasty thing he’s about to say…

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book!
This is is the first book I've read by this author and I enjoyed it. I found it, funny and suspensful. Reagan loved playing practical jokes, he is Nixon's brother who came from NYT to help bring down Dante who has been harassing all the casino owners in Vegas. Reagan is a lawyer, he has also has had a huge thing for Taryn since college. She now owns a high end fashion boutique in Nixon's casino.
Dante has been harassing Taryn as well and wants a percentage of her earnings or for her to sleep with him.
When Reagan and Taryn meet the chemistry is through the roof, only problem with sustaining a long-term relationship is they live in different states. You'll have to read the book to find out if there is a happily ever after.

I am thoroughly enjoying this series. I absolutely love how Colleen Charles writes her heroes! They're so strong, tender and romantic. Reagan is no exception. He comes back to Las Vegas to help his older brother with more Dante trouble and runs into the girl he never forgot. Taryn is a very strong independent woman who also has her issues with douche-bag Dante. Charles does a fantastic job at writing the bad guy. With every book I hate Dante more. I'm waiting with bated breath for him to get his due. This is a series and although it doesn't end with a cliffhanger regarding Reagan and Taryn, you definitely want to read it in order. Another romantic-suspense must-read from Colleen Charles.

The thorn in her side is Dante, who's threatening to take everything away from her.
Hotshot New York lawyer Reagan is back in Vegas to help his big brother Nixon, try and sort Dante out.
He bumps into old collage crush Taryn. His feelings for her are still there. Can Taryn feel anything for Reagan ?
I love how the opening is there for another Caldwell story, and want to find out if Dante gets what he desirves.

Like someone else I was a bit confused that this was the second in the series... and more over that neither of them is on Colleen Charles website (apparently the first one is here: Falling for the Billionaire: A Contemporary Romance Boxed Set by K Lee and others). I presume that the first one is Nixon and Marcella's story. This is Reagan and Taryn's. She's from a conservative Christian family, who she left behind to attend UNLV. She worked as a dancer and now has her own store. But some evil dude wants to take it away from her, and this leads her to Nixon and Reagan.
Well sort of like that. I found the plot a bit confusing at times.

Fantastic rags to riches love story!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and am loving the Caldwell brothers! Rhegan is just as awesome as Nixon. Amazing to be able to reunite with your long-time crush like Rhegan did with Taryn, and to be able to build something real from that.
I love Taryn! She's lived that fairytale story...small town girl from a hard-working conservative family goes to the city to college and works her butt of to build her dream. And boy has she become a success...even with huge obstacles like that pr--k, Dante. But is sounds like that background story is just revving up! I can't wait to read more about this amazing family!

The second book in the Caldwell Brothers Series focuses on the relationship between Reagan, a hotshot New York City lawyer, who is more than he seems, and Taryn, a boutique owner, running from her past. Dante is back to cause problems for the Caldwell's, and Nixon calls Reagan home to Vegas to help. One of the first people he runs into, is on one of the last people he expects to see,Taryn, the girl he has been dreaming about since college. Taryn and Reagan continually surprise each other in good ways, but can they overcome the past, and distance to be triumphant in love? I could not put this book down.

Reagan and Taryn, went to college together at UNLV, have not seen each other in years. Reagan, now a top NYC lawyer, is asked by his brother Nixon to come to Las Vegas to help him deal with his business nemesis Dante. Taryn, now owns a high end woman's boutique in Nixon's hotel/casino. Las Vegas where they were raised. Colleen is a good author and you can feel the breeze from the desert and realize it is the evening but, the temp has only dropped slightly.Taryn & Reagan make a very loving couple and there's plenty of emotion in this story! I would definitely recommend this book!

Awesome second chance romance! Taryn and Reagan had amazing chemistry! I love the dual POV so I can get both the main characters' thoughts. And Reagan really, really wanted Taryn! Will they be able to make it work, being so far away from each other? I thought this was a really lively and engaging book, with great humor and steamy scenes that kept my attention! Well done!

I loved Reagan and Taryn's book! Poor Taryn had been through so much, but I loved that she was strong enough to pull herself up and make something of herself-on her own. Reagan was back in Vegas to help his brother Nixon out (loved seeing Nixon and Marcella again!) with Dante, and realized that Taryn is the girl that he'd fallen for in college. Such a fun book, of course with Dante in the mix there was plenty of drama to go around. Hoping Ford will get his book soon as well!

Hot. I can't even. I've read a bunch of Colleen Charles' books but this one smoked my socks off. It's pretty cold in my town at the moment, but not in my living room - the flames are practically lighting the neighbourhood up. Thoroughly enjoyed this steamy, witty, fast-paced, and sometimes gritty novel - the Caldwell brothers sure know how to make a gal swoon! Enjoyed the writing style (as always) and can't wait for more.

Reagan and Taryn's romance is filled with drama, intensity, secrets, steamy heat, heart, and humor. Reagan is of course awesome! I love a hero that makes you swoon, laugh and melts your heart all at the same time. Taryn is feisty, sassy and more than gives Reagan a run for his money. This second chance romance packed a solid emotional punch and plenty of heat. A wonderful read and a welcome addition to this series. I'm posting a totally voluntary, honest review after reading this book.

Loved this story. The hero is a lawyer, the heroin is a Vegas showgirl, turned fashion store owner. The villain in this story is a slimy business owner who is making it his life’s goal to extort and bully business owners in Vegas. He has just met his match with the Caldwells.

Tightwad is a fantastic second chance romance. It is the 2nd book In The Caldwell Brothers Series. It can be read as a standalone. Taryn and Reagan have incredible chemistry. This book has it all! Lots of drama, steamy hotness, and fantastic characters. It will make you laugh out loud! And its in dual POV which is my favorite!

Another amazing read
This book, the second in the series about the hunky brothers, perfectly lives up to the expectations left after Nixon's story. Colleen Charles expands on Reagan's life as he makes big personal changes while helping his brother take on the resident bad guy, and trying to win the girl.

Loved this story! Reagan is so different for a lawyer. I loved the different layers that Colleen wrote for him. His relationships with both his family and Taryn are definitely interesting. I could not stop reading.

I an not a fan of novellas. The author has a good story, characters and it was an enjoyable read......but it lacked "meat on the bones". More in-depth look at the people and plot would have made it a really good read.

Not 2 bad.
I enjoyed book 2 as much as the first. A second chance situation and Reagan takes full advantage. I was happy with the reoccurring theme, and no break up drama. Ready for book 3.

Love this series.
I have binge read this series in the last few days and love it. The Caldwell brothers are powerful yet honest innocent men who deeply love their women. The women are broken but strong. Can't wait to read number 3 today.

Awesome
I really enjoy reading a book that keeps me entertained from the first page right though to the last. Like the first Caldwell Brothers book I couldn't put it down till I finished it. Can't wait to start the next sequel in this series!!!! Colleen you aced it again!!!
