Theo's old friends are just out of reach, but it's past time he went looking for them.
With the world safe and the Hearthwood Clan prospering more than ever, Theo finally has both the opportunity and the power to go looking for Sam and Dean, who went missing hundreds of years ago. There's much to do at home, but once his affairs are settled, Theo plans to chase their trail and figure out what happened to them so that he can bring them home.
I'm glad that some loose ends were tied up and finally Theo got to rescue his oldest friends. I enjoyed the progression, however not sure how Marvin will continue this series if the MC is almost close to being at his pinnacle. My honest rating is 4.5 only because of editorial issues causing certain phrases to be missing or certain sentences not making sense and pulling me out of the narrative. However this doesn't detract too much from the entire story, and the pacing was easy and well paced to keep me happy.
I absolutely binged this series. The storyline is EPIC. The only thing that let it down are the lacklustre s€x scenes, and the authors obsession with having an impossibily huge di€k spraying copious amounts of c¥m.... if you can overlook the sub-par s€x scenes, the rest of the series is really, really good. if I were the author, I'd collaborate with a female author who REALLY knows how to write s€x scenes, and he'd increase his reader base to include so many ladies.... who knows - the men may learn a thing or two as well......it would be a win/win, and a service to unsatisfied women everywhere 🫶
A good continuation of the series. Theo just seems to get stronger and stronger with seemingly very little effort. He is told it will take him decades to advance and then he does it in a couple of months. This story deals with the end of the orc invasion, rebuilding, and then trying to find Sam and Dean. This could be the last book in the series but I an not sure. There is still the Cult of the unblinking eye to deal with so who knows. Overall if you like the previous books, you will like this one.
As always, well worth the wait!!! A"God" for a son lol!!! Definitely didn't see that coming!!!! As always a fantastic adult fantasy adventure story!!l I really liked the ending of the Orchestra invasion and the weird Primordial worlds!!!
Story is ok even though it slow at time and really fast at other times. Character are turning a bit one dimensional which is one of the things I like the most. The events are a little bit all over the place - less is more!
The time weavers were quite the opponents it really has worked out for Theo now I like to see what's gonna happen next because I wonder what Sam and dean are gonna find out when they get back and talk to their relatives defined out what the oh has done
The last book should have been the last book. This book is page after page after page of nothing. No progression, no point, no plot. Even when something does happen our MC turns into a scrub. Series should have ended this is just a disappointment.
It's not the smoothest ride, but it's definitely one of the most fun.
I really liked this series. I'm considering hitting my head or getting really drunk so I can forget it and re read it again, but I'll just have to read it again in a few years.
