Sandy Brown needs a vacation, so she goes with her best friend on a trip they've always dreamed of to Mexico. The vacation is off to a great start; surfing, swimming, reading, and dancing, but then their little piece of heaven takes a hellish turn. Sandy witnesses a crime and tries not to get involved but can't help herself. Forced to fight for her life Sandy has to choose between legal justice and street justice. All Sandy wanted was a nice tan but now the question is: Will she survive her vacation?
Is anyone else upset by the plot holes between this book and the first? In the first, she stated she just got back from Mexico and had tan legs, now she’s at the beach in Mexico for the first time ever. First she met Taylor 8 years ago, now she’s known him forever, since at least 8th grade (and she doesn’t seem 21). Between that and numerous poor editing blips, I’m getting frustrated. HOWEVER, the plot line is good and keeps me engaged. I’m only a few chapters in and going to proceed, just curious if anyone else is noticing these things.
Better than the first one, not as many mistakes. Several times in the first book of this series I felt like there were missing paragraphs. I would read a line and wonder what the character was referring to. I didn't experience that with this book. I still wonder about the name Kinsey Grafton. Feels like to much of a coinsidence to me
This book was really awesome. It kept me hooked from the beginning. Never figured anything out before it happened. I'd have to say this book is a must read. I loved it.
