John dreams of a woman in trouble
He knows that he has to help her. He turns down a job with the FBI. Delaney is being chased by a mobster. She needs to find evidence to put him away.

Great Read
This series does not disappoint. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for the Bennett Family. I read it in one day, I couldn’t put it down.

To not confuse anyone else, the story is about John Bennett (son of Abby & Sam whose story is told in Touch of Fate: Bennett Sister Series Book two). I have to presume it is about seven years after book five has finished.
John Bennett has always wanted to follow in his father's footsteps to become an FBI Agent. He has scored top in his class but rejected a position because of the woman who has plagued his dreams.
Meet Delaney Chance, a strong willed woman with a colorful past. She doesn't like the idea of leaning on John for help but he has something she wants and is willing to stick around until she gets her hands on this item. However, the more time she spends with him, the more she falls with him.
Together they take on Ritchie Jessup, a violent criminal threatening Delaney for evidence she doesn't have but is trying to locate. Only Delaney is not willing to hand it over, instead she wants to hand over the evidence to the police so he could be convicted. But Ritchie is not a man to be messed with and together they are thrown into many unexpected situations.
Throw the Bennett clan into the fold and you got yourself a very good read!

Great addition to the series.
I have enjoyed all the books in this series, and this one was no different. John is all grown up and ready for his own story. I love the confident man he turned out to be. Delaney is a perfect match for him with tons of confidence of her own. All the usual crazy Bennett family gifts make an appearance with the addition of one new one. I really enjoyed it and look forward to more.

Better than the 3 before
Most people probably read these books as they came out. The problem with reading an entire series all at once is the gaps in the story stand out. This one takes place a number of years after book 5, I'm guessing approximately 10 years later, though it wasn't stated outright. There aren't too many gaps in the storyline, but the ones that are there are somewhat important I think...

start the series with book 1. I love the Bennett family. I enjoyed the character of Delaney a lot.
