Paranormal Dating Agency Book 1

Talia Barca needs a date. Badly. She uses the services of the Paranormal Dating Agency hoping for a decent guy to take to a family wedding. A wedding her ex-husband has wormed his way into as a guest.

Connor and Theron want Tally to complete their Alpha triad. She's sexy, curvy and funny. But she's human. And they're not sure she'll go for a relationship with two men at the same time.

As if deciding to give two men a shot wasn’t difficult enough, Tally will also need to deal with a threat from the pack. She'll either prove she's strong enough to be an Alpha mate or find herself at the mercy of a vicious opponent.

Reader Warning: This book contains lots of scorching sex (including a threesome so hot it will make your ereader sizzle), adult language (hanky panky with no dirty talk is no fun), and violence. If this is not the kind of stuff you like to read, skip this book. However, if you like dirty, raunchy sex with some sarcasm and two hot men on one curvy girl, then this is right up your alley. Enjoy!

“Baby, this was all about you. I am happy to wait.” He met her gaze. “For you, I’ll wait as long as I have to.”

This book is insane ! I mean ... I don't have any problems with it until the ending. Twice the Growl is all about a dating agency finding a mate for shifters. Theron and Connor always share everything in their life, including women. And when they meet Talia, they know they wholeheartedly want her and must have her, no matter what.

Back out from the friction between these three. Talia has a problem when she wants someone to come with her at the wedding. She's convinced that Theron and Connor would work for this dilemma, so she jumps into the menage relationship they offer without very much thought.

“Sorry about that,” said the man behind him. Holy wet panties. If the first guy, with his big body and rough, rugged looks made her stare, this one made her mute.”

Can't deny the love scenes are hot and set my mind on fire. BUT the ending is lame. I didn't even know how these things were going so fast at the last chapter and it flipped its face immediately I couldn't catch up. I marked a big WTF stamp on that scene and was left out with what-the-heck-did-I-just-read feeling.

UGH. No. Just ALL of the no.

The dialogue?

The plot?

The characters?

The fact that I paid money for this?

I was extremely pleased with this book. Milly explains the whole triad mating thing very well. She lets the fire and passion come to life on the pages. I think she might be onto something with it may take more than one man to complete a woman. For Tally who has never had much luck with men, because of her size and bossy attitude.. which I loved about this character. To Connor, the Omega, whose job to help the clan through what they are feeling and his knowing just what Tally needs. To Theron, the Alpha, with his take charge attitude yet he still allows her control. These three make the perfect set. Thanks to Gerri and her match making service they will not be alone. The only question is does Tally have what it takes to be in an Alpha Triad. Will she be challenged since she is human. Seriously are you still reading this review and not the book. Get cracking on this book you won't be disappointed.

Three and a half
I love the idea of a paranormal dating agency as it sounds such fun and obviously gives a lot of scope for sexy hook ups. Here the author doesn’t exactly go down the traditional agency type route but instead has an older female shifter deciding who she thinks would match up so I was a wee bit disappointed in that. However she does seem to get exactly the results she was looking for which leads me nicely to the central characters.
Ok from the cover and title there’s a huge hint that this is ménage so if that’s not your thing you have been warned. An alpha wolf and his omega are looking for their mate, a woman who would complete their triad . They’ve not had much luck but accidentally meet the very human Tally who coincidentally is who they get matched up with. Tally is tired of losers, tired of the whole dating scene but with an important family event on the horizon practically desperate for someone smoking hot on her arm so what does she get ? Yes you’ve guessed it two big and gorgeous males !
Shorter than I wanted and perhaps a little too much sex given the length of the story. That being said the author gave us three very different characters which actually do work together plus a tiny bit of surprise action and danger. So this was a quick and slightly naughty read with a little humour thrown in that slotted right into my afternoon.

This was the case of a short story that should have been a full length novel.

*****SPOILERS*******

I read this in an hour (forcing myself to finish) and about half of that was sex scenes, I found this very annoying. First there wasn't enough story, they had no time to fall in love let alone get to know each other. The author fixed this by jumping periods in time and telling us they talked/fell in love instead of showing us.

I'm not sure if I really liked the characters, There was so little of them to get to know. They met in an elevator lusting after each other, went on a blind date (where they went home to have sex), two weeks later they are mated (by a sexathon), two days later she meets the pack where she is challenged and turns into a wolf and wins (no notice or explanations), then a couple weeks later she tells them she loves them.

Done, now you don't have to read the book, I saved you time and money.
I have read other books by this author and felt extremely dissapointed in this book. I feel jiped, there is a story out there for these three people and I didn't really get to hear it.

I remember reading this one a while ago but I know I really liked it. It's a sweet intro to the series but for me it was too short. There was a lot of potential left unexplored.

I liked the main characters and they were perfect together. The Hs' were really protective and possessive over their mate. And as for the h, I love how she moved on from her cheating ex and how she didn't apologize for who she was.

A great, short, safe read. :)

You look at this cover and title and think “wow that looks cheesy but hot” and that is exactly what this is. A curvy heroine who’s kinda insecure and jaded, getting worshiped by two hot wolf shifters. Super fast read, 3.5 stars, easy to digest, corny, and sexy. 4 spice? MFM - honestly fantastic serving its purpose lol

it’s been a while since I’ve read pure smut and the way this month has gone I think I needed it.

this was filthy and pretty damn cheesy at times when it comes to the dialogue BUT I’m never gonna say no to a curvy mc in a poly-shifter relationship. plus it’s written by a latinx author so we LOVE to see it.

Milly Taiden is far from being a great writer, but this story was engaging and the sex was fairly inventive. My only problem was that, for all their titillation, the sex scenes seemed a bit rushed. Even for a novella.

Twice the Growl was a short, sweet, and spicy read by Milly Taiden. The story is about a sassy woman, Talia who has to endure wedding festivities for her cousin. Oh, that's not bad in itself but her arrogant and narcissistic ex will be in attendance she he ingratiated himself into her family while they were married. Talia knows that he has moved on but she doesn't want to go to the wedding by herself. Taking the advice of her BFF, Nita, she solicits her neighbor for help. Gerri Wilder is a shapeshifter but a very popular match-maker, too. She is certain that she can help Talia out and has just the two men in mind -- her nephew Theron and his best friend, Connor. Theron and Connor are no ordinary men though. Theron is the alpha of the Wildwoods Pack and Connor is his omega. Together, they would form a triad...as soon as they found a woman that both the men and their beasts wanted. And as fate would have it, they stumble into Talia and they are en route to Gerri's apartment. Both men are instantly taken with the petite, but curvy beauty -- and their beasts are interested in her, too. Together the men work to seduce Talia in hopes that she will agree to be their mate. Unfortunately, not everyone is so eager to have Talia in that role and will issue a challenge that threatens to make or break the triad.

Twice the Growl was very easy to read and I really enjoyed the characters and the story. The couple fit very well as a triad and there was no major conflict between them. And that's probably why the book rates about 3.75 stars instead of a solid 4. I definitely enjoyed the story but I wanted there to be a bit more drama, yes there was some; however, I wanted a bit more than there was. I wanted the men to prove that they would fight for Talia but, as it was, she was the one doing the proving while they sat back and watched. Lazy men...LOL. But, that didn't detract from the story, I just love ultra alpha shapeshifters and Theron and Connor didn't exude too much of it. I wanted to see them break her ex in half. LOL...Violent, I know.

I very much enjoyed the story and I am very much looking forward to what happens with Ms. Nita.

Favorite Lines “Feel bitchy? Be bitchy.”

“Have faith. It will all work out.”

“You shouldn’t have to. A partner should be someone who takes what you already have and makes it better. Someone who makes you happy to have them in your life.”

“You both have given me what I never realized I wanted. Two men to make me whole.”

What s spectacularly sexy yummy book!
Tally is ur everyday woman who's had bad luck in the love department, she's almost given up and when a family wedding comes up she's terrified to go alone and see her ex husband there.
Connor and Theron need there mate to complete the triangle. They have looked everywhere.
All three of them go to Aunt Gerri. She's opened at dating agency. Gerri knows these two fine wolves would be perfect for Tally!
Milly Taiden is amazing! Her writing sucks you and let's you lose yourself in the world she creates!
I would recommend this book along with all of Milly's book for anyone who wants a hot wild paranormal ride!

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review

THIS IS HOW A THREESOME SHOULD BE!! I know that seems agressive but its been a while since I read a book I thoroughly enjoyed. Everything about it clicked with me, I know it is a little generic and could use more plot, character and story development. BUT and that's big but it just felt right, it is a short feel good story and the feminist in me fully agreed. If anyone wants some time off to relax, this is the go-to book!!

I really enjoyed this quick, sexy, shifter story. Talia was independent but flawed. Connor and Theron had two great personalities that brought out the things they needed from Talia. I enjoyed the concept and look forward to reading more about this Paranormal Dating Agency.

Is this a joke?! Seriously?

Worst. Writing. Ever.

Every single ridiculous clichéd trope and phrase since Mills & Boon immemorial.

Wow.

And this narrator 0_o. She sounds like a mosquito on helium who's reading with a pointer under each word.

Talia has been invited to a family wedding but doesn't want to go because she knows that she will run into her ex-husband. So instead of letting her ex gloat about how she didn't come to the wedding because she was still hung up on him Talia decided to ask her neighbor, Geraldine, who runs a dating service from her home, to help her get a date.

Connor and Theron have been having a hard time finding their mate. So they ask their Aunt Gerri, a paranormal match making, for her help since it isn't an easy task because not only does the female has to like them but also their wolves and be approved by the pack.

Well when a date is set, the Alphas see Talia and they realized they've found their mate but they would need to make Talia understand that she is their fated mate which isn't going to be an easy task since Talia has a hard time believing that love is forever.

Though is was sweet, hot and enjoyable. I feel like its too short and needed more.

A great place to find your perfect match!

Now I have been reading Milly books for quite a while and I know most published under Milly are paranormal, but this one had me fooled for just a bit... It starts off as a contemporary romance, but soon heats up into the expected hot paranormal story. There is comedy, idiotic ex's, hot new lovers, and an elderly matchmaker. It was great and I enjoyed it and am even looking forward to the next one! And now a bit about the story...

Talia had finally seen her husbands true colors and filed for divorce. Only problem is he was wormed his way into her family. He still gets invited to events and now she has to face him at her cousin's wedding. She has dated some real losers in the past and really doesn't want to show up with another one... what is she to do? She knows her elderly neighbor runs a matchmaking agency and she has give Tally her card many times. She finally jumps in with both feet and asks for help. Except she isn't sure she can handle all the help she is getting. Will she let herself enjoy her dates? Or will she let her prude of an ex-husband wreak havoc on her good time?

Favorite passages:
- “I’m too old for dating. I’m about to get my cat lady starter kit any day now.”
- She’d spent years ignoring her own sex appeal and hiding her curves because she was, according to her family, fat. She wouldn’t do that anymore. Her body was hers and if she wanted to strip to nothing and wiggle her ass for her new date, then she’d do exactly that.

Yummy Curvy Smexy Menage

I love Milly Taiden, so the new series was a given. Bonus that it is shifter crack. She writes the kind of curvy gals I want to read. Sassy fun and generally confident in their own skin. She doesn't skinny shame but she doesn't have her gals wallow about their body for the whole book. These gals put out a positive role model that BBW reads should strive for. Alright, enough soap box, on to the review.

I love the idea of a Paranormal Dating Agency Mrs Wilder is great and I can not wait to see more of her through the series.

Talia is a great choice for the first leading lady. She is sassy fun and snarky! Just what I love best.

The two yummy heroes she gets matched to are delicious! Connor and Theron could be my Alpha mates any day!!!

Expect plenty of smexy steam, it is a shifter menage!! It does not disappoint!!! One thing this author does not skimp on is the steamy detail!

I was a little lost in the whole side plot with the family and the Ex. I am not sure I believe that her family would choose him over her.

Still, I loved the overall story and am already hooked and preordered the next book! Gimme Gimme Gimme!

I was thrilled to see this pop up in audio!! Lauren Sweet is a delightful narrator who has a delicious way with the naughty reads! Her pace is fantastic and she adds energy to all the right moments. The voices were distinct and perfectly fit the characters she was portraying.

Holy Hotness Batman! I loved this book. The dating agency idea was cute. I love the meddling relatives in stories. They make for great comical relief. The story itself was hot and sexy. There's just something about 2 men at once that makes it a steamy fantasy. I think that the menage genre is growing in popularity. No, I wouldn't have one myself, but that doesn't mean I don't get turned on by it!

This author has a way of making great characters. Her females are all independent, realistic women, not barbie dolls. They have strong personalities and are quick on their feet. They always have something to say that makes me laugh and think of myself doing the same. The men in this story are hot, sweet, sexy, caring, any other positive adjective you can think of. I think that the two men together were a perfect match. Seriously... if I ever found 1 man like these 2, I'd die a happy woman. Seriously looking forward to the next in this series.

Finally big gals prevail! As a larger women my self, it's so nice to read a book that I can really enjoy. Maybe even image my self in Talia's place. Who won't 2 hot alpha males! Also they can't get enough of a her soft curves. I mean hello.. Give me some of that. ;)

I <3 Mrs. Wilder! This old gal sure has the sight.

Here are 2 of my favorite quotes.
"Cat lady starter kit." and "Feel bitchy, be bitchy."

Those gave me the chuckles.

So yeah as the story went on. I get how Talia would feel like they were not there for her for the long haul esp with her past, but I like how they suggested they date one on one then together.

With 3 sometimes books like this, its to many hands and mouths and what not but that is not the case with this one. phew very hot!

This was a great read and also there were some intriguing elements i hadn't read before for a shifter triad but fitted and flowed well with the story.

I wish i could have my own Connor and Theron, wow the way they work together and how they handle things.

Talia was a interesting character she had bad luck with men, so has concerns about getting involved with not one but two men and we see her stand up for herself

This was a great hot and steamy read, some action and some interesting concepts and conversations and look forward to more books

Wow the best read yet. This has it all, attitude, style, seriously HOT guys & a great leading lady. Tally is a curvy lass strong willed with attitude & a crappy love life. Tearon 1/3 of a alpha, Connor is the 2nd alpha of the pack but this pack is based on a triad 2 alpha males & a alpha female. This story is explained brilliantly & written with style that only Milly has. You just have to read it, it's that good.

This book is the first book I've read where a woman, Talia Barca, has two men, Connor and Theron, falling all over her and inviting her into a trio. The two men want her and she "needs to get laid." It all begins when she needs a date to a wedding so that when she runs into her ex, she'll have someone. So she solicits a woman named Geraldine's (Gerri's) help since she owns a dating service.

As it turns out, Gerri is Theron's and Connor's aunt, and they also ask her to match them to a mate. Her dating service is actually a paranormal one, so she knows that the mate she chooses for them will also need to be accepted by their pack and the females.

I really liked how their love grew, and it did, between Tally and both men. Personally, I don't know about a threesome truly working so well, but it worked for them.

Too fast

Everything happens too fast without any chance for character development. MC is whishy washy for about 10 seconds until her friend says one sentence to her and she changes her mind. It was a good premise, I just wish there was more time for plot development.

Review originally posted at RabidReads.com.

I’ve been seeing reviews for Milly Taiden on Angel’s Guilty Pleasures for a while now. I’ve been wanting to try them, but never got around to trying anything. Angela offered to loan me her Kindle version of this book so I could try this author and I jumped at the chance.

This series is based on Gerri Wilder who runs the Paranormal Dating Agency. When you go to her to get set up, she pretty much asks you to trust her and let her do everything. Talia is looking for someone to take to a wedding. She’s had really bad luck with men and she just needs someone to be her date to this wedding so that her family will leave her alone. Her ex-husband will be there too.

Theron and Connor are alpha and omega of their pack. They were raised knowing that they would be. They were also raised knowing that they would need a third in their triad to lead their pack, a woman that would be perfect for both of them. They have spent their entire life sharing women, but haven’t found the woman that will be the perfect mate for them. They finally decide to go to Theron’s Aunt Gerri to see if she could help. Little did they know she was going to pair them up with a cute little human girl from down the hall.

This is cute and quick read. I liked Gerri. I wasn’t a huge fan of Tally. She was all about how she wasn’t good enough. Theron and Connor were a little too perfect for my taste. They had absolutely nothing wrong with them and they put Tally up on a pedestal so high, I would be scared of falling, myself. I really disliked Paul, the ex-husband, who caused quite the scene at the wedding shower. I liked Nita, Tally’s best friend, but at the same time, I thought she put a lot of pressure on Tally.

“Fine, but you really need to give those men the mate they desperately need.” Nita patter her hand. “They’ve been patient with you for almost two weeks. They need you to make a move already.” Nita stared deep in her eyes. “You are not a punk, prima. You’re a self-assured woman who knows what is good and what isn’t. Is this good for you? Do these men make you happy? Only you know the answer to that.”

While, I love what she’s saying, but two weeks. Really?? That is awfully fast to me with one man, more or less the fact that you are changing things by adding this whole new idea that she can have both men. That is a completely new lifestyle to her and it would take some getting used to and Tally has some very valid concerns about it.

Anyway, if you go into this story with just the quick, cute read in mind, it was fun. The men were very romantic. The sex was hot (if I do question the hygiene at times, ew). There isn’t a huge amount of depth to the story or characters, but it was cute. I’ll give the second book in the series a chance.
