In fact I finished the complete series not only part 1. It is OK. I liked part 1 the most, yet afterwards it became boring with many repeations and as well usage of simple examples.
It is OK to get idea about the language, but for sure not enough. Not even close to half enough.

Genuinely amazing! I knew the basic pronunciations from school, but would never have been able to travel with what I knew. Now, I feel confident to ask for directions and interpret them. I feel confident in booking a hotel room or table at a restaraunt. I feel confident in asking for help, checking if I can pay with credit card, and ordering dinner. All in all it was a really easy way of learning a language and it encouraged you to forget along the way knowing that you'd be reminded later on and it would stick in your memory. Loved it and I am ready to travel again!

I liked this audio trainer: well structured, clear pronunciation, logical connections.
The boring part for me was that when the explanations were too slow and repetitive, I would lose my focus for some time.
Also, the author tried not to confuse the public with accusative, genitive and other cases and this made the explanations a bit childish.
Did I learn from this experience? For sure. Therefore, this is a good place to start the adventure of learning german.

As always, Paul Noble does a fantastic job at teaching the basics of a language. His method works well for me to recall the phrases that he teaches.
