Addison is everything I've ever wanted in a woman. Too bad she's my best friend's daughter.
I volunteered to host her 21st birthday at the Wylder Brother Ranch.
Maybe that was a mistake on my part, but I have to see her.
When she steps out wearing a little red dress, I know that I'm scr*wed...
And with any luck, maybe she will be, too, in more ways than one.

Enjoyable short read looking forward to the other brothers stores. 3.5* read
Wylde About Her is a great start to the Wylde About Curves series by Avalon Everhart. In book one, we get Dominic and Addison's story. Addison has crushed on her dad's best friend for years and when he agrees to host her 21st birthday party at his ranch, she knows this is her chance to make her move. Seeing his best friend's daughter at her party is really testing his restraint. He knows she is off limits but how long will he be able to stay away? And when he learns she feels the same about him? Great story. Hoping his brothers get their stories.
The book was very short and ended weird. But now for the ick and triggers. So if you don't want to know don't read. The mmc is 37 and fmc is 21 which would maybe be okay if he wasn't her fathers best friend and known her her whole life and babysat her as a child. He's called her uncle or fun uncle. And he started having feeling for her when she was 15! Oh but he was respectful and wasn't going to groom her. Look at my highlights.
Dominic has known Addison her entire life and babysat her as a toddler, but got the hots for her as soon as she turned 18? Yeah, alright buddy.
... around the time she turned fifteen that I began realizing my feelings for her weren't just those of an uncle and his niece.
Jail.
Stopped somewhere close to the end because I couldn't be bothered to finish. Thank God I got this thorough stuff your kindle day and didn't spend any money.
Wylde About Her wasn’t really my cup of tea. While the concept had potential, I struggled to connect with the characters and found the dialogue a bit forced at times. The pacing felt uneven, and I didn’t feel emotionally invested in the romance. I can see how some readers might enjoy the curvy-girl empowerment angle, but for me, it just didn’t land. A forgettable read overall.
A quick read that was perfectly spicy!! Addison is turning 21 and she has a plan. She is finally going after the guy she can’t stop thinking about. Dominic is helping plan a party for his best friends daughter. Unfortunately…or fortunately he sees her differently than his best friends daughter…he wants her. Yes this is extremely complicated. This is a quick read with the perfect amount of spice.
This felt so rushed. Not even 30 pages and it was just a jumble of words.
In a longer book the storyline would be great, it’s giving Birthday Girl vibes but it wasn’t very well executed at all.
Not sure if this is the authors first book or what but either make it a longer book or don’t write it at all. I would expect this from a Wattpad book not one on Kindle.
I wish it went a little further and there was more finalized than the approval. More fleshed out a bit but I guess that’s the novella lifestyle. Still a good quick read.
