Josh Bryant has done a great job making science and the so-called bro-science find a common language...outstanding,informing and a proved piece of literature for bodybuilders...however I'm obliged to say if you're new to bodybuilding this book may not be the match for you.

Excellent Training Manual

Without a doubt, this is one of the best books I’ve read on strength training. In this book Josh covers every possible aspect of fitness. The book is intelligently written, and most of all, the material came across as trustworthy. I love reading material that is immediately applicable. And this book definitely is. It’s very inspirational as well. I highly recommend this book to any athlete, any age.

One of the things I pride myself as a trainer is my constant acquisition and reading on new information on strength training and conditioning. Constantly working through books to get a deeper understanding of what stimulus and why prompts the body to change. With that being said, I can say that out of the numerous books I've read thus far, this is by far and by a HUGE margin the best book on the subject. Josh Bryant absolutely kills it, with in the trench anecdotal evidence and then the studies and science to back it up. If I could tell anyone to read one book on strength training/bodybuilding this would be it.
