Teejay Bishop is back! Along with the friendly folks who call Monarch Beach home - including the hunky detective John Kincaid, and the newest resident, country singer T. Thomas Tanner, Tim to his friends. Monarch Beach is picked as the background for the singer's new videos, the whole gang gets picked to appear in them and the Gem hosts a wedding celebration. Things are really looking up in the little coastal town. Until a woman disappears Until someone starts shooting Until a headless carcass is left on the porch. Until one of them dies.
What a terrific read but the ending really threw me. Wonderful way the characters just get better and better and the different facets they are made of are displayed brilliantly. So Tim is famous but has a stalker. Her engagement is throwing her friends into a frenzy but all she wants is to get married with as little fuss as possible. Whilst life is great, his stalker is creeping into their life and circle of friends. Is there an ulterior motive? A filming set, attempted murder, a missing woman, headless dogs and a man who borders between reality and fantasy. Can they survive?
I really enjoyed this book. It makes me awfully hungry to read a Monarch Beach novel though, there's almost always delicious home cooked food to eat. I cant wait to find out what happened next.
