Let me just say I LOVE the North boys!! I want to be part of
their family! Their family is just amazing and they are so close that you just
love them! I loved this book!! It was such powerful romance. This is Kate and
Sam’s Story.
I have to say a laughed a lot throughout this book. Sam is
quiet a character and doesn’t accept No for an answer. He is your ultimate
playboy, never wants to settle down. He has a lot going for him from his music
career to his racing career. He’s feeling torn between the two on which one to
pursue so he decides to finish his Master’s Degree. On his first day of class
he walks end with a hot little blonde bent over picking up her papers. Of
course Sam hits on her and asks her out and she politely tells him No. Sam
being Sam doesn’t do “No” so when she tells him she is the professor Sam isn’t
the least bit turned off. He is hell bent to be her friend and get to know her.
His confidence is what makes you love him so much!
Catherine Jolie looks normal from the outside. Gorgeous,
smart and has a great job. The Truth is she is dead. She is completely dead
inside. She puts on a persona to get through each day. She is like a robot and
her routine is the same thing every day. She takes medicine for panic attacks
and has been seeing a shrink weekly for the past 5 years. My heart broke for
her! When I found out what her pain is and why she lived the way she did it
wrecked me!! I had silent tears running down my face! It was so real and you
felt every bit of her emotion. Catherine had no idea that the teaching position
she applied for would change her life and that a rocker, bad boy would bring
her back to life.
Watching these two grow as friends to lovers was beautiful.
I fell for Sam hard. He was perfect and knew exactly what Kate needed. He was so
patient with her and took care of her. The lengths he went to and seeing him
change was amazing. Also the man was a beast in the bed! HOTT!!! I enjoyed
their story so much that I could go on and on. If you have not read this book
or any of the True North series you are missing out! I am ecstatic for the next
book!!

This is the third book in the True North series, each book is different and I have enjoyed every book in the series to date. Kate and Sam's story was an eventful journey and it was interesting to see Sam the Playboy settle down.
Kate had some personal Demons to overcome and with the help of Sam she was able to do so. She likes to keep her routine as simple as possible and doesn't really like to change it. Taking this new job and moving so far from her parents is a huge step for her. When Sam comes into the picture, he constantly tries to get her to open up, but she tries to keep him out. But soon it was sweet to see them develop a friendship to help Kate with her demons.
Through the start of the book, it was funny to see Sam and his thoughts on relationships. He didn't think he'd ever get tied to a girl, so it was amusing to see Kate sweep him away. I loved seeing the passionate side to Sam; he loves his music, his fast cars and wants to succeed in college. He is a sweet guy, who would be a great catch. Seeing him with Kate and how he slowly helped her with her fears would have any girl swooning.
I thought this was a beautiful story and a few times it bought tears to my eyes. Kates story was heartbreaking and all the clues dropped throughout the story still didn't soften the blow when the full picture was revealed. I love the emotion the author put into the story and even know there are fun times there were difficult times too. When Sam and Kate's relationship went to that next level, it was passionate and beautiful. I look forward to more books in this series and I hope you try them too.

Oh Sam what am I going to do with you, you nosy little s***, "four: dance in the rain. Five: go to a movie. Six' - did I mention this one's my favorite? - 'Get laid'..." He stopped to catch my eyes. "You have an awesome psychiatrist." I rolled my eyes at his teasing. A moment later he said, "Jolie, I could do all of these activities with you." He contemplated the list thoughtfully." Sam he's so nonchalant he wants everyone to know Kate is his girl thus a most hilarious conversation happened between them:
"Well, I was thinking I'd just take you there on the professor's desk so everybody knows."
"SAM!"
"We could do it up against the wall if you don't want to make a mess on your desk."
He says the most inspiring things ladies, "oh, I'm going to eff you so good, Kate," he growled. "You are incredibly effing sexy sprawled over that black Samurai Chopper in nothing but a little bit of pink lace. Reach up behind you and grip the handlebars." He has a solution for everything even a long distance relationship, "I'll handle it with my hand, while having phone sex with you every night." Although I enjoyed Sam I thought the boy was just a tad bit to damn chirpy, and peppy, so Nate still has my heart but there's a couple more North boys that need to get a story so we'll see if Nate will end up keeping my heart.

I've been a huge fan of Allie's since reading the remarkable True North one and having been introduced to the sexy North brood- one of the finest families to grace my kindle since Aurora Rose Reynolds' Mayson boys. So having been enamoured of her work in the previous books of the series I had high expectations for Sam North's story but as always Allie delivered another tremendous and exhilarating read, packed with her trademark angst and delicious romance.
Sam North student by day and rock-star by night meets our wonderful neurotic protagonist Kate during their first day of classes at college and the rest as they say is history...
True North 3 is Sam and Kate's time to shine and boy did they. They sparkled and shimmered and glowed right off the page for me. Undoubtedly my favourite of this series Finding Now is perhaps a little darker and more angst filled than the other two books but all three share very well tackled issues. Allie is the queen of personal woe and tragedy, she writes from her heart and gives the reader an in-depth and heart-wrenching glimpse into pain and heart-ache and loneliness but she does it with such subtlety and tact that you don't realise how badly the story in affecting you personally until that first tear splashes your kindle screen. Although this book is a little heavier than the previous it is by far the best. Allie's writing has matured and her ability to create such believable and interesting characters is evident by the well rounded and multi-faceted layers that are peeled back chapter by chapter, Allie makes you care, she makes you feel. I'm such a sucker for romance and this book has it in spades. A beautifully written and unique book, Finding Now has everything a girl could want in an N.A book, hot and well-crafted sex scenes, a stunning butterfly-inducing romance and a gut-wrenching inner turmoil but add in the HEA and Allie has another recipe for success.

The third book in this series proves yet again what a good writer Allie really is. She has a very unique writing style that cannot do anything other than grab your attention until you are done with the book.
Sam and Kate's story is a little more on the heavy side in compairison to the other two in the series. Nonetheless it is an amazingly written story that'll grab your attention from page one.
Katherine 'Kate' Jolie has suffered severe trauma in her past that changed her irrevocably, that is until Sam comes along.
Eventhough Sam seems all bubbly and happy, he too has got some life altering decisions to make...
University. Pizza. Bar. Rockstar. Race car driver. ==> If that doesn't draw you in, I don't know what will! ;-)
Will Sam's purseverance be enough to draw Kate out of her shell or will the past catch up with her and will leave her the empty person she is inside now. Will Sam finally make a decision towards his future...
Get comfy and buckle up for one hell of a ride! It will not be easy but it'l be well worth the read.

I have to admit while reading all of the other North books including Dare which is the spinoff Sam was my least favorite North boy. He was a total self centered manwhore. He really redeems himeself in this book with Kate. Kate is a damaged woman with some pretty severe demons. She is Sam's professor but don't worry there is only a 4 year difference of age and there is no creepy feeling. I was actually shocked that their relationship wasn't really hidden or treated as taboo but then again this is a fictional read and Kate became a professor at such a young age it really wasn't that much of an issue. I really loved their relationship and how Sam helped Kate over her past and when the North boys fall in love they really fall in love. Unfortunately I've finished all of the North books and the spin off book but I will be keeping my eyes out for any other romances by this author.

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!!!! OMG, I loved it, laughed so hard and CRIED! Was half hysterical sitting in the welfare lobby reading it. Sam is my favorite North! He's so thoughtful and just Aw! His energy is crazy. Kate, well she grows on you. She's pretty closed off in the beginning so I can't really say she's awesome, but by the end, you just have to love her. I loved all of the books in this series, but I think this one was my favorite. As with every True North book, provided you know the songs, this one comes wit a pretty awesome sound track.

I cannot say enough good things about this. I loved Sam and Kate, truly. Allie nailed it on this one. Real life situations you can relate to in one way or another are a big factor for me in books. Kudos woman!

Awesome book! Kate had issues and was afraid to move on with her life without her brother! Sam was a playboy who said he should never fall in love again!

Fucking Sam North agggg what the hell you were suppose to be the player alway single but you turned out to be perfect!!!! I loved it just as much as I loved this series. And Kate you stole a piece of my heart.

This is the third book in this incredible series, and this is Sam and Kate’s story.
Sam is a pierced, tattooed, bad boy, who is a rocker and master’s student, while Kate is his professor, and a tragic accident has left her a shell of the girl she used to be. Sam is used to getting any women he wants, and his sights are firmly set on Kate, but will he be able to knock through the walls around her heart?
This is a well written story which is an emotional roller coaster, with family, friendships, an age gap, challenges, professor / student, angst, loyalty, determination, opposites attract, making choices, trauma, healing, and love, which leads to an entertaining, unpredictable, and spicy addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Hated this
## I hated this book. I don't understand the great reviews. The "hero" is such a manwhore, it's just plain gross. And we have to read through him having sex with others (not the heroine). Repeatedly. That is something I detest in a romance novel. Along with cheating that's just a no go for me. And when he's not having sex with others, he's talking about how all girls want him and how awesome that he can have sex with anyone anytime because he's so hot and talented. Bleh, no thanks.

Boring
I had this in my Kindle cloud for awhile and finally decided to read it. It started off well enough but then it became boring. The MCs are ok but I just couldn’t connect. I downloaded this because I like teacher-student romances. But that dynamic receives very little attention. The MCs mention it every now and then and laugh about it but the author doesn’t spend any time on the fact that it’s forbidden and could lead to consequences if discovered. It’s treated as a meet-cute.
I ended up skimming a lot just to finish.

Nice
I read this as a standalone and that works just find once you get past the first few chapters with all the other characters and into the story proper. The book came up as an older woman age gap but it barely qualifies with only a 4 year difference. But the story is lovely and romantic as Sam teaches Kate how to "live, love, laugh" all over again.

Sam and Kates story was such an emotional rollercoaster for me. Kate had my heart breaking so many times. Sam was so good for her and he just adored her. An emotional read but I am so glad I read it. Amazing

So if you know me or read my reviews then you know I LOVE this series! Allie Juliette Mousseau's writing is amazing and I fall head over heels in love with every book she writes. I mean really how could you not love books with Jake, Nate and now. . .Sam!!! Bad boy, musician, race car driver. . .do I really have to say anymore!
"The smooth, sleek, powerfully modified race car was the only sweet woman I wanted to ride with any long-term committal."
Sam North knows he never wants to settle down. But he also doesn't know which path in life he wants to continue with. Being a musician or a race car driver are both dream opportunities, but since he is unsure he decides to continue on to get his Master's degree. From the moment he walked in to class he decides he made the right decision when he sees a sexy blonde woman at the teacher's desk picking up her papers. What he never expected was for Ms. Jolie to be his professor, and he decides he wants her. So he continually asks her out, but she always says no. But we all know the North men don't give up easily.
"Well, if you're the teacher's helper, tell me how to get in trouble so I can be held after class," a deep voice spoke flirtatiously behind me.
"Don't bother helping me or anything," I said annoyed, waving behind me without looking back.

But Kate has to learn who she is again and learn to forgive and love herself. And just as the pieces start to come together for Kate and Sam, the band gets the opportunity of a lifetime. Can Sam convince Kate to give their love a chance at forever? Or will her past fears prove too much for her.

You just can't help but fall in love with Kate & Sam! Their chemistry in and out of bed is SO hot and intense. Sam is a "rock star" in and out of bed…literally! H-O-T!!! His car, his motorcycle, the bed, the couch… anywhere with Sam North is SCORCHING HOT! Add to that their intense connection and beautiful friendship, and a past that no one should have to worry about and you have a novel full of every emotion possible! It is a beautiful story! And if you haven't already PLEASE grab the whole series. Each can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend reading them all because I love them all SO much! Love Allie! I will tell you right now that Sam North will melt your heart. For a guy that thought he'd never fall in love, when he found love...holy hell...he was absolute perfection.
Finding Now (True North 3) is the third book in a series by author Allie Juliette Mousseau. The books center around the North family. Five gorgeous boys and one very protected girl. Finding Now (True North 3) focuses on Sam. The North family is an extremely close group and you can see that in the interactions they have during this particular story. Sam actually has a twin who is just as yummy and lives life a little on the edge. As a matter of fact with two exceptions, this family of boys are all involved in more than their parents very lucrative ranching and oil business. Sam is not only a graduate student, but also plays in an up and coming Seattle band called Chasing North.
Graduate student Sam meets Katherine Jolie, who happens to be his very attractive professor, the day he walks into her classroom. Sam being well, Sam asks the incredibly gorgeous Katherine (who used to be Kate) out every single day. And every single day, she turns him down. Katherine has a HUGE secret. She has basically spent the last six years of her life merely existing. A horrible accident all those years ago has basically crippled her.
The thing about Sam is he's made the decision never to fall in love, only we all know life doesn't always work out that way we plan. As the two get to know each other, Sam falls in deep with Katherine. He has taken to calling her by her last name, Jolie and I just thought that was one of the cutest things ever.
Sam becomes what Katherine needs to begin to heal from a traumatic loss that she's suffered. He helps her work on a list that her psychiatrist created to help Katherine live again and maybe, just maybe recapture who she used to be. Soon the woman who's been punishing herself for six years and a man who thought he'd never fall in love do just that. Sam realizes it first. He's ready to give everything to his Jolie. She is more apprehensive. Katherine believes someone like Sam would never be satisfied with just her. He's insanely good looking, in a popular rock band and several years younger than Katherine. So clearly in her eyes he can't possibly know what he wants.
The night the two finally give into their passion, Sam just proves over and over how outstanding he is in that department. Let's just say, he's very giving.
If only they could stay snuggled up in bed, or on Sam's motorcycle, or the back of his car, life would be perfect. But a huge success for the band threatens a relationship neither one is ready to end just yet. Who would've thought that Sam would be willing to toss this opportunity aside for his Jolie and who would've thought she would be strong enough to send Sam away.
Will Sam be able to convince Katherine to give their love a chance? Or will Katherine's fear keep them apart? Silly readers...of course I'm not going to tell you. I really want you to read Finding Now (True North 3). I can share one bit of information, I will be reading the other books in this series. This is the first book by Allie Juliette Mousseau that I have read, but it won't be the last. I have to say that I normally don't like reading a book that is part of a series, without reading the prior books first, but in this case I didn't have a problem with it because it is truly a standalone novel. Yes there are reoccurring characters from the other books, but Allie did a fantastic job filling in the blanks, so I never felt lost or confused.
Finding Now is Book 3 in her True North Series. This series is based off the North Siblings and their quest to find love. This one was about Sam North and Kate Jolie. This was a fun, sweet and sexy read. I was laughing at times, smiling most of the time and even shed a tear or two towards the end of the book. What I really found refreshing in this book was that even though it was NA book, we didn't see some of the other stuff that generally accompanies this genre. There is NO Cheating, NO love triangle and overall NO stupidity on the parts of the characters, but it wasn't an insta love connection either and wasn't to over the top in cheesiness. I thought the flow and pace of the story were spot on. Nothing dragged but she also didn't rush aspects of the story. I also LOVED the ending of this book, although I would've liked an epilogue to just follow up with Sam and Kate. Not a deal breaker though…I still thoroughly enjoyed this book.

He is a Rockstar musician, also loves to race cars and is in school getting his masters degree. His true love is Music though, but he just doesn't know if he can commit to going on the road and giving up the other 2 things he enjoys as well. Kate is a 26 yr old woman who is a professor, but is also a shell of a girl. She had a tragic accident happen to her 6 years ago and she has never been able to get over it….until she encounters Sam. After they meet, Sam takes Kate on a journey to finding herself again and letting herself open up to love and being happy again. I loved the relationship between these two. Both helped each other in ways they didn't know were possible. Sam will definitely melt your heart and panties ;) I absolutely fell in love with him and because of that I am going to read the first two books in this series, so I can meet the other men in this family.
I would for sure recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of the rockstar romance, but that is so much more then just the rock and roll love story. If you are looking for a story with heart, laughs, and some sexy times, and that has characters that feel real and have depth, then I would say you should read this book. I believe Sam North should be on everyone book boyfriend list!!!

5 huge stars!
Gahhh what can I say? Allie Juliette Mousseau has done it again with another phenomenal story. This book follows Sam (one of the North brothers) and Kate (who is a newly introduced character). I absolutely adored both of these characters, and really hope to hear more of their story in the future. There was definitely enough material to continue on their story, and I for one vote for a Kate and Sam book 2. I need to know what happens from when this book leaves off.
The entire story line was fantastic. Allie really knows how to build up the suspense. Kate had been through a horrific ordeal in the past, and is practically crippled mentally from it. She is unable to move on with her life in a way that is best for her. Throughout the first half of the book you get small glimpses into what happened, but it was not until about halfway through the story that you learn the full extent of it. My heart broke for poor Kate time and time again, and I could really feel her pain. I was able to relate to her character with her getting panic attacks, and Allie did a great job describing what it can be like at times when having one of these attacks.
When bad boy, and womanizer, Sam North enters into Kate's classroom that first day of school, the last thing Kate expected was that her life was about to take a drastic turn. Relentless and unwilling to take "no" for an answer, Sam begins his persistent chase of Kate. What started off as him aiming for his next conquest quickly turned into a friendship and bond that completely blew me away.
"Can we be friends?" He offered me his hand. "My heart's been annihilated, Sam, and you're only going to make it worse." "No, no way," he said confidently, "I'm going to heal it."
All together now… **SWOON**
One of my favorite things about the True North series is that each book is about a different couple, but it also continues the stories from the previous books. You are not left scratching your head, wondering what happened to the other characters down the line. I love, love, LOVE when authors do this in a series of books. Especially when you grow to love the earlier characters as much as I have with these books. My one and ONLY complaint while reading True North Book 3 was that there was no indications of when a fast forward was beginning. In other books I have usually seen some sort of a mark where one part ends, and a new later on part begins. Whether it be a little design or a bunch of *****, this has always helped me realize that there would be some piece of time between the paragraphs and events. When reading this book, I found myself backtracking a few times thinking I accidentally tapped to go to the next page one too many times. Once I realized I hadn't, and that it was a fast forward, I was fine. But it still did confuse me a couple times. However, it was not enough to lower my rating because I loved this book so incredibly much!

Sam, another of the North's brothers is sure he will never fall in love, so of course, he meets a girl and he falls in love. It's one of those broken girl, sweet Prince Charming to the rescue kind of story. Kate feels like she died and now is Catherine, the Professor, she's only existing, not living, until Sam arrives and makes her feel again. It's a very straightforward kind of story, she only needed someone to show her the way, and Sam won't take a no for an answer.
