Don Noble follows up on his immensely popular Climbing Mt. Cheaha to produce another anthology of Alabama fiction—comic, this time. At press, the collection includes the following Caroline Haines, Jack Pendarvis, William Cobb, Brad Watson, Barry Hannah, Wendy Reed, Lee Smith, Michael Knight, Pat Meyer, Bart Barton, Madison Jones, Dan Wallace, Suzanne Hudson, Joe Formichella, Joe Taylor, Eugene Walter, Truman Capote, and Michelle Richmond.
This is a great collection of short stories from Alabama authors (or authors with ties to Alabama). I can't really say I had a favorite story out of here, as I enjoyed most all of them. However, the short story by Truman Capote that's featured is one of my favorite stories of his. This is a good read, if you're looking for something light and funny!
