Winnie McKeller is lost in her own home, alone in the town that she has lived in since the day she was born. Her world has been shaken. Death has been haunting her family for the past year, and on one unusual night, each member of her family will be forced to confront their pain and fight to put the pieces of their lives back together.
Winnie's journey will lead her through the back roads and dark woods of her quiet town. She will find herself cut off from everything she knows, in pursuit of a mysterious stranger with no pulse and a Y-shaped incision on his chest.
As the night unfolds, Winnie's mother will encounter a dangerous woman who claims to be a witch. Her father will seek supernatural help in an attempt to understand what lies beyond the veil that separates this life from the next. And her closest friend will be tormented by shadows that threaten to drag her into darkness.

Kyle Andrews grew up with a love of writing and a fascination with film and television. He eventually began working in the entertainment industry, both on screen and behind the scenes. Taking what he learned from those experiences, he created the action/satire novel "Starlette" and devoted himself to being a full-time writer.
I had a hard time getting into this book and it never did get any better. I ended up not finishing it and I did try because I believe every story deserves it's spot light but I didn't care about any of the characters or what was going on. I also found myself wishing I was reading something else. This book was just not for me. I gave it 2 stars for at least the possible story line it could have had and effort.
