The Priest was back. Her home was safe. And Pandora had even managed to secure a powerful ally in the Zombie Queen. But in one fell swoop none of it mattered. She’s been abducted by a secret organization known only as the Triad, and they’re conducting experiments, treating her like a lab rat: cutting her open, dissecting her, and keeping her hostage. And she’s slowly going mad. Her demons are asleep, and no one knows where to find her. She’s completely isolated, and the Triad mean to break her. But for what purpose? And to what end?
Desperate to get back to her life and the people she loves Pandora manages a miraculous escape... Or has she? All she knows is she's woken up in the woods, alone and terrified and with no memories of who she really is.
Only one thought keeps hammering away at her. The prophecy. A legend, that states Pandora is the key to unlocking Armageddon. The truth of who she is, of what the Triad has made her become, has been sealed in her memory banks. And if she can just remember, she knows she can stop whatever they've got planned.
"And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him..."
From NY Times & USA Today bestselling author Marie Hall comes the third installment in the dark and riveting Night Series.
Marie Hall is a USA Today Bestselling author and has always held a dangerous fascination for creatures that go bump in the night. And mermaids. And of course fairies. Trolls. Unicorns. Shapeshifters. Vampires. Scottish brogues. Kilts. Beefy arms. Ummm... Bad boys! Especially the sexy ones.
Then the day came she realized apart from the sexy bad boy she married, there'd be no vampires/shapeshifters/mermaids/fairies/or even stinky trolls in her future unless she wrote about them. More often than not she can be found roaming the wild, lush tropical forest she calls her backyard (a.k.a. Hawaii) and day dreaming constantly about her latest project.
Her Mad Hatter is the first book of her Kingdom Series.

Just like the book before it, Howler’s Night, the third book in the Night Series, takes up right where the last book left off. At the end of All Hallows Night, Pandora has her Priest right where she wants him and the two are finally about to get it on – seconds later all hell breaks loose (this is where Howler’s Night begins) as agents of the Triad attack and capture Pandora. She’s taken to a secret facility where she’s imprisoned for months as they brainwash and perform horrifying experiments on her.
Most of this book is about Pandora recovering with the help of friends and family, trying to fix all the ways the Triad has damaged her, getting to the bottom of the prophecy that states Pandora is the catalyst for Armageddon, and taking preventive actions to stop said Armageddon from happening – the actual torture scenes take up a fairly small portion of the book, and yet those are the scenes that really stuck with me. Body horror makes me squeamish, so if you’re the same way be warned that it gets a bit graphic, but thankfully it’s pretty brief.
Up to this point, the series has been told through Pandora’s view. In Howler’s Night, we get some of Asher’s point of view as well and the added insight really brought up my opinion of him. He really loves Pandora, unconditionally, and the depth of his feeling and the lengths he’s willing to go to in order help her makes their love story just heartbreaking and touching. We get more insight into some other familiar characters as well – namely Luc, Bubba, and Vyxyn (who has always been a secret favorite of mine). While we don’t get their points of view (although I would LOVE that), Pandora explores the motivations of the other half-demons in the Carnivale Diabolique and we get an up close view of just how their different abilities work (to me, this was the most interesting part of the book)
If you love paranormal drama and an intricate, complex storyline, I recommend the Night Series. I also recommend you read them in order and not skip any, as they don’t read as standalones and you’ll be very very lost. This series just continues to grow on me. The final book in the series, Red Rain, is expected to come out in December 2014 and I’m super excited to read how everything comes together.

This was, by far, my favorite book of the series! Pandora suffers so much in this story. The things that are done to her are beyond belief. I could feel her suffering right along with her. The details were gripping and very visual.
One of my favorite characters is Dean. He has a personality that I just felt drawn to. He seems light hearted and easy going, but things aren't always what they seem, now are they!
The author's descriptions of the demons is amazing. She has given each demon a life of their own with their own wants and needs. Learning how to control each demon is no easy task.
I like this series. When I got to the end I couldn't believe that it wasn't actually ending....now I have to sit on pins and needles waiting for the next book. I definitely recommend this series.
Omg don't leave me like this.....I really hate cliffies Marie.
This series sunk its teeth in me and I literally DEVOURED these books. Action packed, emotional and gripping The Night series is not your usual PNR. At times violent and disturbing and yet because the author took the time to build the story, you can't help but feel involved with the story and its characters. I cried with Ash, I flinched and I shuddered at what was done to Pandora. I grew to care about the little Lust demon with the heart of gold. The romance was completely believable even though it was a lust at first meet because they didn't dive right in and it became a bond that you were rooting for. Not even the few grammar and editing mistakes detracted one iota from this story. Bravo. I cannot wait for the release of Red Dawn. I hope I don't have to wait long.
I purchased this series because it was written by Marie Hall, and I've enjoyed many of her books. I could tell from the description that it would be a little darker than the books I usually read, but decided to give it a try anyway. It is dark, since the main character is a nephilim -- half-human, half demon, and her demon is one of the seven deadly sins. I have enjoyed the series immensely so far, because Pandora is such a likable character and the plot line is fascinating.
The series is written mostly from Pandora's perspective, but also sometimes from the perspective of other important characters. Because of this, the reader gets to see a character's thoughts on everything that happens. Pandora is a fascinating and complex character -- sometimes hilarious, sometimes very dark, sometimes very violent, and sometimes very caring and good. My favorite part about her is that she is capable of love and goodness, because her human side truly tries to control her demon.
The other characters are also interesting and well-developed -- some are likable, and others you love to hate -- but all of them are complex. The story does include a romance, but the romance is not the main plot.
I didn't like this 3rd book quite as much as the first two, simply because each book has gotten darker. I did still like it, but it is much darker and more violent than the books I usually like to read. Since Pandora is facing a serious threat to everyone/everything she loves, this book also doesn't have much humor (the first one had quite a bit).
The story is fast-paced and packed with emotional scenes. Some are quite violent, some are incredibly painful/sad, and some are confusing. It held my interest right up until the end, and kept me guessing at what would happen next.
This book does end on a cliffhanger, which usually bothers me, but I didn't mind this time since the book was so good. I have already started the last book in the series, because I can't wait to see how everything is resolved. But if you really don't like cliffhangers, you should avoid this series.
If you choose to read this series, you do need to start with the 1st book and read them in order. Marie has created a very complex world, so each book contains a lot of world-building and character development. I think I would have been really confused if I had tried to read the books out of order.
My rating system is below. 1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it. 2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws. 3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating. 4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one. 5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.
The story of Pandora and Asher. The Order has taken Pandora and brainwashed her. Asher is looking for Pandora. The Order want to turn Pandora into Ya-el, a very powerful sermon. Can the Order win or will Asher save Pandora. Great story.
I would definitely read books 1 and 2 before reading this one, so you get to know the story and characters. This is an exciting read, full of action and excitement.
I loved the third book in this series, it hasn't lost any steam at all. Whilst things start of a bit darker on the dark side of things it's well written and the feelings come across well.
I received this book for free from Author in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. My Initial Reaction... Ok - so if you follow my blog you know that I'm a HUGE fan of Marie Hall. And this series is what started it all. I'm adore Pandora and in Howler's Night my little demon is going through hell! Howler's Night is torturous, action-packed, sexy, and agonizing - making it the best in the series to date!
Note:Expect some series spoilers... though I can't imagine why you haven't read the first two books yet ;)
The Characters... So I'm not going to waste your time telling you how much I love Pandora and Asher. You already know this from my reviews of Crimson Night and All Hallows Night. But in Howler's Night Pandora and Asher are going through so much and we're seeing them in totally different lights.
For one, Pandora is being tortured. Tortured in ways you can't even imagine. And that's seriously changing her. You can't help but wonder if she'll ever emerge the same person. She's always had such a capacity for humanity, despite being half-demon, but she's being brainwashed and you just don't know how she's going to come out of that. We spend a good portion of the book watching a very different Pandora. Marie wrote this new Pandora brilliantly and I loved every agonizing moment.
The highlight, for me, was getting in Asher's mind. That's right folks, for the first time we're getting parts of the story told from Asher's perspective. It makes sense, since Pandora isn't quite herself - but regardless of the reason, it was such a treat to see how his mind works. Turns out, he infuriates me LOL! I mean that in the best way possible - I mean his love for Pandora is just so consuming you can't help but love the man, but he makes some seriously frustrating decisions and I can't tell you how many times I wanted to reach in and just shake him.
We're also introduced to some new characters - my personal favorite was Death. He's this Armani wearing, country sounding, meddling and game-playing, ancient barkeep (what else do you call a man who runs a sort-of-bar for demons and what-have-yous?). He was brilliantly written and I honestly never knew if I wanted to trust him or not. I mean he's death, so instinct says, "no, don't trust him!" but then he's doing all these really helpful things and you just don't know what to think about him. I was torn all the way to the end.
The Story... In Howler's Night we start off with Pandora being tortured, while Asher and Luc are trying to find her. That part of the book was more brutal than I can explain without giving things away - but I will say, it killed me over and over.
In fact, there's not much about the story I can tell you without giving things away. We know that there's a prophecy involving Pandora and in Howler's Night we're finally starting to see how that might play out. We're starting to understand Asher much better - in some serious jaw-dropping details. We're getting to understand the other demons and their abilities better - this was one of my favorite parts of Howler's Night. Things are being raised to all new heights - the action is more intense, the romance is more fiery, the mystery is more complicated, and the consequences are more brutal.
And of course, just when the intensity has reached it's max we hit the cliff-hanger ending. The kind that makes your jaw drop and your heart take off as you desperately search for more pages only to realize there are no more. The good news? Marie writes like a bat out of hell, so we probably won't be waiting long for the next one. I hope.
Concluding Sentiments... When I finished Howler's Night I was overwhelmed with emotions, shock, and goose-pimples. My emotional distress says it all - Howler's Night was amazing. There's only one book left and you can certainly feel things marching to an epic conclusion.
This book may be unsuitable for people under 17 years of age due to its use of sexual content, drug and alcohol use, and/or violence.
**I received this book in exchange for an honest review (LoP or Lovers of Paranormal) Goodreads.com** Oh my word this book has been explosive giving us a twisted evil and a mater plan to end the lives of the characters we love. It has also given me a reason to sleep for as long as possible for the rest of my life- harness the power of sleep. This series of books to me has been a gift which keeps on giving.
In this book we had two main characters Pandora and Asher who each get the opportunity to tell their opinion of the story so far at different parts of the book. This was a great addition to the book as it helped us connect to the character who is going to be most prominent in Pandora 's life. Pandora in this book is very much a tortured soul going from hardship to happiness again and again and it made me love her more. At this point in other book series it is the female characters that annoy you however Pandora 's strong will and badass attitude made that impossible for me. Asher was as ever loyal to Pandora, I love how he never gives up on their love and that he will do anything for her and still be strong alpha male and fairly mysterious.
The secondary characters in this book were of course as always Luc and Grace but in this book we got a better view point of Bubba and Vyxyn and of course new character Dean. Lux has changed a lot when we finally meet up with him again in this book, he seems to be simply a shell of his former self living off the regret of not having Pandora in his life- it was difficult to see him like that in this book especially since I always kind of held a candle for him and Pandora. Grace in this book is suffering from an illness which I thought was kind of strange since until Pandora 's disappearance she seemed invincible and strong- not that her illness is due to Pandora not being there- but it almost feels as if everything is falling down around her. In this book we got to know a lot more about Bubba that in fact he is a lovable character and not at all the monster he was made out to be. Vyxyn is another returning character who we learn more about in this book and I feel as if Vyxyn could be the sisterly character Pandora has always needed. In this book we meet death, aka Dean- Dean is described as I always imagine him to be a game player, jumping overboard at the last minute to save himself- in short I loved him.
The pacing was brilliant as it instilled a sense of doom surrounding the main characters throughout the book only to have doom spring up on them at last and in a way no-one was expecting giving us a kick ads cliff hanger and leaving our jaws on the floor. I am ultimately glad that this is going to be a more than three book series and feel the storyline went in the exact direction it needed to to allow this.
The storyline however confusing at times was a thrill ride giving us twists and turns pointing us in one direction then another and ultimately leading us to an awesome cliff hanger ending. It has been expertly written and kept me glued to my kindle unable to look away, I can't wait to read the next book and find out the fate of the characters but want more and more books.
5 stars, I'm a fan of the series and the author. Can't say I was expecting this at all but by no means am I disappointed.
OH My Giddy Auntie! I don’t think that Pandora’s story has ever been more gripping, or more laden with potential consequence! Marie Hall takes a darker spin again and gives us a Pandora we never before saw, and brings the long suffering Asher back into her life. This was such a twisty read, full of tension and worry for Pandora (clearly my favorite character in this story) as The Triad is subjecting her to all sorts of experiments / torture / brainwashing to clear her memories of who she is and what she loves.
Asher returns, never having stopped worrying or searching for her. While we are ‘treated’ to the inhumane treatment of Pandora, we finally get to see Asher’s perspective and thoughts: his “Little Demon” engenders so much love and protectiveness within him that he will stop at near nothing to have her back.
But there are battles he never expected: Pandora is changed, dramatically, from the woman he knew. He is convinced she still holds a part of herself within: and it alternates between heartbreaking and terrifying as he tries everything he knows, and a few things he doesn’t, to bring her back.
Completely engrossing, you can’t put this book down: You MUST know what happens next, and if they will be able to change The Triad’s plan for things. Old characters return and we see more about their powers and purpose, and the loyalty that they show Pandora. New characters make appearances, some longer and more crucial than others: Death and his pop-up roadside motorcycle club is a particular favorite, his attitude very much like one would expect, but the favors and bargains made for Pandora by Asher could be helps or hindrances as the story moves forward.
And it does move forward, after a slower and more torturous start from seeing Pandora’s pain to coming to learn more from Asher, the seeds are sown for a very action-packed and life-altering journey, full of dangers and puzzles. And then, with some threads tied off in neat little bows, we aren’t quite finished yet, and the story ends. Right at that place where you can’t bear to NOT know…..
Not normally a fan of cliffhangers, Hall does wrap enough ends up to make a satisfying ending, and you just know that more is to come, and you want it…NOW. Fortunately, Marie is a prolific writer and we can expect that next installment before too long (fingers crossed).
This is a favorite series from an author who has captivated me with her imagination and unique twists on character tropes that I thought I knew. Every introduction brings new revelations and perspectives, just what you want from each book you pick up.
I received an eBook copy of the title from the author for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.
I received a free copy, through LoP, in exchange for a review.
Just when you thought everything was going to be ok, all hell brakes lose. Pandora is taken, by an unknown force, in the middle of the night. Asher is too hurt to help, Luc is too slow and then, she's gone. Undergoing massive mutilation and brainwashing, these unseen people are reconstructing Pandora, to fit their needs, while she tried to maintain herself and memories. It all gets to be too much and she wakes up one day, not herself. This is where the misadventure really begins. How does she make it back, to Asher, to Luc, to her family, but most importantly, to herself?
'This time when I floated above the Earth, I saw a band of black that glittered with a streak of gold deep in the heart of the Catskill Mountains, but my excitement was tempered by the knowledge that something was wrong with her colors. There was a slick, oily sheen to her that hadn't been there before. Something dark and oppressive, something menacing, marred her, and I worried that whatever I'd find, it wouldn't be Pandora at all.'
All I can say is wow, holy crap. If you have followed this series, you know what I'm talking about. Great turn of events and build up. I can't believe that there is only going to be one more book. I love the Pandora character, but all good things must come to an end. Hopefully it'll be a kick-ass ending, as I'm sure it will be!
I received this book in exchange for an honest review (Lovers of Paranormal).
Oh that was just so, so cruel. Tell me you didn't end it like that...Please? I just know that waiting for book 4 will drive me crazy. I need it now! This book was....wow. It was like being on a train traveling through every emotion existent. Pain, confusion, desperation, hopelessness, craziness, love, lust, anger, fear, hot rage.... I even almost cried. And I loved it all. I liked especially that I could read both Asher's and Dora's points of view. I think now I love Asher even more. He's easily become one of my most favorite book-boyfriends. He's awesome. And even though I didn't like Pandora as much as in the previous books, I know it was inevitable. She's changed and who knows what she's become now and what will happen in the future. Luc made me so mad! He's a f*****g jerk!!! I so hate him!!! I seriously can't stand him. I despise him! Weirdly enough, I like Bubba. I know, he can be creepy. But he also can be sort of sweety. And it shows that he really cares for Dora. So, since the priest is taken, and Kemen is dead... can I have Bubba? I can overlook his red eyes if he's as hot as Dora said. The ending left me open mouthed e speechless. Everything we thought we knew...was a lie. Allies turned out being enemies. And I don't know who can be trusted now. One thing I know though. I WANT SANDMAN BACK!!! I'm still mourning him :(
A fast paced, heart racing, emotionally gripping read.
This book starts in full action. Pandora is taken by the Triad. Asher never stops looking. Even after Luc and her nephilim family moves on. Pandora is mutilated, physically torn apart, again and again by her captors. For how long? Hours turn into days, days turn into months. Until time is unmeasured. Waking one day in the forest. Her mind unclear, body sore, bruised, battered and covered in old and new scars. She makes her way to a road side restaurant. Entering to a room full of shifter's and one bartender who nonchalance doesn't help her reeling mind. The door is ripped open and a hand lands on her shoulder. She knows who it is...the instant Pandora's eyes meet Asher's all hell breaks loose.
Another action packed novel. Pandora has come a long way. Faced many day to day demons as well as the one's that reside inside her. Once again I couldn't put this down. Pandora captivated me with her struggle. The love of Asher and his unwillingness to give up on her even through the time she's been captured and tortured. Their survival becomes one line repeated mantra ... "Strong walls shake, but they never collapse"
Death makes and appearance in this book. Intriguing character just as I'd imagine Death would be. An explosive beginning doesn't make the ending any less action packed. I'm biting my nails! Itching for the next installment! I give this 5 stars.
Wow, I was shocked and disappointed with the direction this book took the series...
After accidentally reading the sneak peak at the end of book 2, I went ahead and read this book because I had bought it without reading the description, and to be honest, I wanted it to get better. But instead of getting better this installment went in a seriously dark and f'd up direction and after finishing it, all I can say is I wish I had walked away at the end of book two.
So my word to the wise is don't read this book.
Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...
1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.
2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.
3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.
4 stars... I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be on the look out to pick up more from the series/author.
5 stars... I loved this book! It had earned a permanent home in my collection and I'll be picking up the rest of the series and other books from the author ASAP.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the “Lovers of Paranormal”.
This third book is very exiting! Wish I'd known this wasn't the final book in the series since I don't want to wait to find out what happens next after such a huge cliffhanger!
Pandora was taken by the Triad and has literally lived through hell over the past year. She's been dissected and reprogrammed to kill Asher. When they let her go, Asher finds her and spends the next several months trying to bring her back with the help of Death. Most of this book is about Pandora recovering with the help of friends and family, trying to fix all the ways the Triad has damaged her, getting to the bottom of the prophecy that states Pandora is the catalyst for Armageddon. She must learn to control all of the Seven Deadly Sins in order to stop the Triad.
We also get some insight into Asher as several chapters are told from his point of view. We find out about his past that he was unable to tell Pandora about and we see that he truly loves her and will do anything to protect her.
Another fast-paced and exciting story! Can't wait for the next installment!
I received this book in exchange for an honest review from LOP (Lovers of paranormal) and the author.
I love this series. It took me less then 4 days to finish the first 3 books. The character development is fantastic, the plot again fantastic and the details and descriptions are fantastic! This is a really really really good story and I thoroughly enjoyed it!!
That being said, what the hell is with the cliff hanger man?? I mean I know we are going into book 4 here pretty soon and your bet your butt I will be reading it also, but still I HATE cliff hangers. I was seriously depressed at the end of the book, for once I just want the bad/good guy (see what I did there?) to have a happy ending, I think she deserves it!
Over all star wise this gets the full 5. I loved this book, I have loved this series so far and I can't wait to see what you come up with for book 4 :)
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review via Lovers of Paranormal.
WOW this series just continues to keep you on your toes. Every twist and turn comes unexpectedly and takes us in directions new and darker. The Triad with their sick and twisted ways were tough to read but totally impossible to stop reading.
These are Nephilims like I've never read before, with their demon souls as additional personalities.
The characters are great and the relationships consistently gripping - Pandora and Ash continue to be fascinating while Luc still pulls at your heartstrings.
I really thought this was the final book and towards the end began to doubt it and wonder how it would wrap up so quickly. Well the answer was in the fact that it wasn't the end! But oh my god the ending......to wait until December is torture!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can't wait for more.
This has to be my favourite of this series so far. I love dark and disturbing. The fact that Little Demon and her Priest's story took such a darker dance in the shade, had me totally riveted. Not to mention Luc, that poor guy I have a love hate relationship with. Very much looking forward to the next book because come on, you can't leave the story there on that ending! There is definitely more to come. Can't wait!!
Favourite guffaw lines...
'Don't you know you're supposed to decapitate what's back there, not bump fuzzies with it?'
'There might be snow on the roof, girl, but there's still a fire in the furnace.'
I received this book in exchange for an honest review. (LoP, r2r)
*I received this book in exchange for an or Lovers of Paranormal)*
Hallows' Night (book 3)I pub By:Marie Hall I love this book just like I love the other ones. But I just wish things stop going bad for her . When will her pain ends. Pandora is a niphilim (half demon and half human) and is I love with Asher, his a death priest( born for one thing only, to kill niphilim). Even tho they are met to be enemy's there love is stronger then anything that comes in there way.Or I thought so. How could she forget who he is and try to kill him .... The story is one pain and love scene after another..... I can't wait for the next one. This book has it all , niphilim , priest , zombies, and other supernaturals. If you like paranormal books then this is for you. :)
This is the third book in the series. It begins where the previous book, All Hallows Night, left off. Bad things happen, really bad. Pandora's world has been turned upside down, and she's questioning the authenticity of memories and events she's struggling to remember. Not everything is bad, though. Pandora is reunited with Asher and her "family," all of whom are coping with their own internal battles/secrets. Much is revealed in this installment, and the ending makes me want the final book (Red Rain) to hit the shelves NOW!
For those who want to read All Hallows Night and Howlers Night, you will not find them on Amazon - neither in paperback or kindle. I was fortunate to find them on Smashwords.
This was, my favorite book of the series! All of them have been excellent, however, everything that has been building in the last two books really breaks out in this third installment. The writing is very visual in Howlers Night, so much so there were times my heart just hurt for Pandora. I am also delighted that we get more insight into some minor characters in this installment. Overall great pacing, nothing is stretched out or boring, twist and turns abound around every corner. No spoilers though you must read it for yourself. Let me just say the devil is indeed in the details. I can't wait for the next book Red Rain. It will be out in December.
I received a free copy, through LoP, in exchange for a review.
just love it, it was soo cool I can't wait for the last book of the series.
I think it was such a great book since the development of the characters came to a bloom in this book everything was so interesting and new in some manner.
the struggles of power and the way everything fell in site was amazing.
One step forward, two steps back. Just when you thought things could not get worse for Pandora, it does. Kidnapped by the Triad, Pandora spends a year experiencing a mix of brainwashing, torture, and endless agony. I hate to wait to see what happens next. I just hope that some good comes out of everything that she experienced and that in "Red Rain" things turn around for her. Overall, you have to read these books in order. Once you start, you won't want to stop.
Loved this book. It was little better than the second one with all the lovey dovey stuff between Asher and Pandora. Lots of action throughout the whole book leading to a twister at the end. I loved the fact that we finally learned about Asher and his past. Although I don't know that it really did anything for the story, but it was still good info. Can't wait to read that last installment!!!
