As the first child ever born to two different shifters, Nora has lived a sheltered life, up until now.
After a fateful incident, she becomes fake betrothed to the son of the notorious pirate, Captain Kerrigan.
Kerrigan, driven by greed and revenge, is on the hunt for Nora and doesn’t realize she’s hiding in plain sight.

Can Nora endure a week on Kerrigan’s ship without revealing her identity? Or will she be discovered and turned over to the highest bidder?

This is a part of the Forbidden Waves series, but can be read without reading the first 2 books (though there will be some spoilers!)

Contains some dark and mature themes. Content may not be suitable for all audiences. Reader discretion is advised.

For starters, you've not read the Forbidden Waves duology, stop here and go read those first as this book has spoilers for that duology. If you enjoy pirates, shifters, and a unique fantasy world, than the original duology and this continuation one are definitely a requirement on your tbr.

Okay, read the Forbidden Waves duology now? Good!

Beneath Venomous Sails is the continuation of the Forbidden Waves world from the perspective of a few new characters.

I beta read this prior to publication and really enjoyed this reading experience. Holly does an amazing job of whisking you away on an adventure, including angst and tension between characters, and make you both afraid and happy all within the span a few pages.

Nora is a strong-willed FMC but she still has her soft moments. And Adrian, oh Adrian - ngl, I've got a soft spot for this troubled son of a pirate captain. Hard to say more without spoiling things, which goes to show how well Holly immerses you in the world she crafted.
