I would consider this one the best installment in this series so far, I haven’t been listening to these in order because they are all just groups of short unrelated true stories. This one is by far filled with some of the most unique and bizarre paranormal encounters I have ever heard!!

The first story involves a young boy setting up a tent in his backyard only to hear knocking noises against a tree. This is typical Bigfoot behavior in an attempt to scare someone away.
Then there's a UFO story which may be one related to the Reptilian alien race where a person senses being watched, becomes ill due to a light beam. There's levitation involved and praying which seems to make the aliens angry. There was also the smell of rotting meat and sulfur which is not typical of standard UFO abduction cases.
Then there's a story involving a gnome and a Bigfoot, one which seems to be a ghoul and then one involving a time slip where a boy sees three men and later learns they are all dead.
There's sort of a cute story about a ghost tricycle, one involving a dead deer and one which seems to involve either a demon or a ghost.
There's one about a very strange cryptid with four legs and two arms and a giant open mouth. There's one which seems to involve a skinwalker, a strange story about an old man and a boy, a story involving shadow beings and a change in behavior of a certain person.
It's a wide variety of paranormal sightings, again all of them being interesting and a couple of them being rather unusual, even for paranormal sightings.

This is volume 2 in the new What Lurks Beyond series. This edition features more primarily paranormal experiences primarily found in or near the woods. There are strange entities, creatures and more. Author Hayes has some great stories he has collected and will be publishing more in future volumes. A great set of freaky tales.
