It's all there, in the book, almost in every shape and form: aliens that have been around, "here and out there": on earth and the moon and on other planets and galaxies and constellations..., for thousands of years.
The Soviets knew about it, cataloged it, and distributed it as a sort of manual to the agents of the Smersh*.
One former soviet diplomat kept it in Portugal. Here, enters the story of the Italian Dante Santori who met the son (Petro) of the diplomat. They traveled first to Spain, where Petro had a brother in jail. Then they came to Portugal, and Petro's father, unknowingly, introduced them to the book at stake. The father just wanted to get rid of a "dozen of boxes of documents".
They met in 2004. They've had their "road trip" to Spain in 2008. The original book (they got copies from, afterwards) was a 1951 edition in Russian.
Dante got into the task of translating it into English. But strange things happened, meanwhile. Like: him posting in 2009 his translation of the book, 150 views on, and two hours later the material had been deleted. He'd received e-mails (from a Nordic country, he guesses) saying the Canadian armed forces had hacked into his channel.
Most strange was the death of his Ukrainian friend Petro, in a car accident; and the disappearing edition of the book he was carrying with him in the car.
For some time Petro and Dante refused offers (initially of $5,000; then $30,000) by publishers (a total of 13).
It seems, at last, the book came out. Dante spoke about his worries: though copyright "is not an issue", the papers apparently belong to the Russian government.
He believes, nonetheless, "it's real", the material exposed, in an "accessible" and "non-scary" way. --- *from Wiki: SMERSH (Russian: СМЕРШ, acronym of Russian: Смерть шпионам (SMERt' SHpionam) - "Death to spies") was an umbrella name for three independent counter-intelligence agencies in the Red Army formed in late 1942 or even earlier, but officially founded on 14 April 1943. The name SMERSH was coined by Joseph Stalin.

I'll just say that I really don't know how to take a book such as this, a lot of it seems to be similar in structure and information that is found in the blue planet project. I'll leave it up to other readers to form their own opinions. If it is factual, which is rather hard to believe, it'd be pretty life changing...hell world changing! As much as this topic is discussed, videos propping up, pictures, documentation, and really, the sheer size of just this one galaxy, there is no possible way we are alone! So, we should all, at this point, have come to the same conclusion: there's a definite, absolute, that there are other forms of life out there, perhaps hanging out with us.
I thought that your book was very interesting. After seeing a UFO once, I believe that other beings exist besides us. After all look how large our universe is. We are not alone.
This book holds the utmost value with an educational look into the many various alien races that have come to earth or who has influenced humanity. But what is more important for many to learn, is that we must unite as a whole, in order to survive and keep our planet going with everything living, including ourselves.
I found myself pulled in.....wether or not this is truth or imagination...it is a fantastic read if youve ever asked the question about our earthly race...and where we fit in the grand scheme of the universe
The book itself was captivating, but a small part of me couldn’t help but feel disappointed. I would have liked to have learned so much more about the individual species, as well as the frailties of those that allegedly mean us harm.
