A million gazillion stars!!!! Oh my gosh, this is sooooo incredible! We just skimmed the surface with these amazing characters! I am dying for more, I need it, I want it, eeeekkk, soooooo excited!!! This was fantastic!!! ♾️⭐️

First the amazing Preston & Ivory what a beautiful and incredible story T. Leigh Turner gave us to wrap their happiness! No way is this the end of them, as Preston and Miller are glued at the hip, which I loveeeee their bromance sooo much. We wouldn’t have these amazing group of friends without Preston and Ivory bringing them all together!!!

Miller, my boo, thank you for making me laugh, I love you sooooo much! T. Leigh Turner is aware of my addiction to this man! I’ll allow you to get your own happiness with your girl, but if it doesn’t work out, call me! 😜

Miller’s story is going to be amazing!!! I am living for his thirst traps. His girl has no idea what she is getting herself into, but it is going to be sooooo fun!!!

Gabby you stole my heart and soul in this story! I wanted to reach into the book and hug you. I am soooooo excited for your story! The shock of who he is, how it came about that you met and the awesomeness of him crashing back into your life has me smiling ear to ear! This is going to be sooooo fun! Get her Matt, she deserves happiness!

And Taylor do not worry, I could never forget about you! Your story was the biggest shocker! Say what!!! And your man, seriously! I was dying to know how you pulled out some of your big tricks in Stranded on Second, you had a helper, one you might not want to admit just yet! I’ll be here waiting patiently for the fun we are gonna get from your story!

Pure joy, this was sooooo fun! I loveeeee all the lead up and sprinkles of fun this book gave us. They are perfect teasers, that make me want sooooo much more!! I love and hate this book at the same time 🙈

I don't really know how to write this review. This book is different from other books. I would say it's a mixture between an extended bonus epilogue and a prologue 😎
We finally get the wedding of Preston and Ivory from "Standed on Second" 😍 But we also get introduced to the love interests of all the other members of this found family. Ivory's two best friends, Gabby and Taylor, and Preston's best friend and teammate, Miller. Oh, and Miller finally got a first name, even though there is only one person who calls him this, the girl he met. She doesn't know his last name or who he is 😉

I'm not saying more, because I don't want to spoil too much of the first book.
Is it necessary to read the first book before this novella? No, BUT you would miss a perfect book and the love story of Preston and Ivory. So, I highly recommend reading book 1 first. Then this book is more fun 😁

You want to know why I love and hate the book?
I absolutely loved seeing the gang again. It has been so long, and I missed them. It's perfect to have something til book 2 will come out.
BUT here is why I hate it...
I freaking NEEEEEEED book 2 NOW!!! I can't just wait anymore. OK, actually I need book 2, 3, AND 4 right NOW! God, seeing Gabby, Taylor, and Miller with their love interests made me so needy for their stories.
Especially with this cliffhanger ending.
God, Tiffany, you are ☠️ me here!!! 🙈

If you haven't read book 1 yet. Don't wait! Run and read it so you can read this one right after 😁

I have so much to say about this book but also I don’t adequately know how to say it all without giving all the goodness away! Let me start with: I’m obsessed with Tryst! This multi-POV novella is the perfect blend of checking in with Preston and Ivory, the OGs from book 1, but also getting to know each member of their friend group from their own POVs! This book lays the foundation and teases what is to come from the rest of series in a way that leaves you with all the feel-good vibes but so excited and full of anticipation.

When I say this story is teasing at the remaining books, I AM SO FREAKING SERIOUS!!! You are going to laugh, gasp, and 🥵! You will be begging and pleading, be feral and so excited and anxious for Miller, Taylor and Gabby’s stories. It is short, sweet, swoony, spicy, and teasing book that is just as good and addictive as it is satisfying.

This found family brought out so many emotions in me. I laughed so much because these characters bring out the best in each other but also because they are a family they can teasing and laugh at each other. There were many moments where I was just in awe and brought to tears with how supportive they were and how much they truly love each other. I honestly cannot wait to for the remaining books in this series because I need to see so much more of this group together, they are just as big a draw as each individual remaining story.

Tryst was everything I wanted and more. This novella made me go back in time and remember why I fell in love with these two characters in the first place. THE CHEMISTRY!!! Soooo good!!

There were moment that had me tearing up because of how beautiful it was!!!

I loved that we got to know more about their friend group - Miller, Gabby and Taylor!! All I know is Tiffany gave us so many insights into what's to come and I am soooo excited!! So many unanswered questions!!!!!

I don't want to give too much away but overall, soooo good!

Cannot wait for Gabby and Matt's love story coming next

✨ Review ✨ "Tryst" by T. Leigh Turner

When I signed up for this ARC I was a little nervous because I hadn't read the previous book. Thankfully @tleighturner_author assured me that while it would give me some spoilers from the first book, it was totally okay to read it on its own.

Now that I've read it I cannot wait to go back and read "Stranded on Second" before the next book comes out! This book was the perfect novella. We got to meet all the characters from the first book, and it sets up the rest of the series perfectly! The best part is we get perspectives from eight different characters, which is just so fun! Each snippet of the relationships between the characters will leave you guessing and absolutely feral for their book!

Tryst is full of touching moments, true love, beautiful friendship, delicious spice, witty banter, and lots of laughs! In other words it's perfect and I am now a T. Leigh Turner stan!

I'm so glad I signed up for this ARC. I don't remember who I saw mention it, but thank you! 🩵

I received an ARC of Tryst and absolutely devoured it. This is a novella in the Music City Troubadours series. You don’t have to read Stranded on Second before this novella but I absolutely recommend it!

Now let’s get into it! This was a great follow-up and I loved the multiple POVs as a way to introduce the characters for the series to come. It helped me connect with them and now I’m so excited for each of their own stories. Very quick read. Like I said, I devoured it in absolutely no time!!

Do we really have to wait a year for book 3?!

I was lucky to ready an early copy of Tryst, and I wish I am about to read this again for the first time. It was such a fun read. Grab a mimosa and read this book by the pool the perfect vibe.
The story follows Preston and Lacey who are celebrities in the sports, and Hollywood industry with a great group of friends who become a family. Oh did I forget to mention she’s the coaches daughter? Most of the story is gearing up for a beautiful intimate wedding in St. John’s. But what happens during the reception and the after party has you wanting more. I really enjoyed Tryst, it’s a whole hearted book, and the wedding preparations were fun, with no stress at all. I need to know more about Gabby, super excited for her book next year. It’s a must read book for the summer or baseball season.

This little nugget of gold is a novella of our friend group from Stranded on Second and whoa! I was NOT ready! Helloooo first Chapter! 😜 Everyone gets their own chapter POV and even a few added in 😉 Miss Tay girrrrllll!!! I. Need. More of her and Grant! Sheesh! And my god Miller is freaking adorable!!! Sigh, Gabby and Matt! I cannot wait for all of these stories! This is essentially a little prelude to what is to come and I cannot wait!

I. Need. More. Now.
I knew I was going to devour this the moment I downloaded it. SOS has stuck with me since I read it last summer. I would highly recommend picking it up if you haven’t already. These characters are so lovable and truly a joy to read about. I was intimidated opening this up and seeing all the different POV’s as the chapter names, but it was written so well, that I was excited every time we switched to another character. But again - I. Need. More. Soooooo much more and I’m going to need to practice my patience until I get book two.

Ok, so now for the spoiler portion of the review.
WARNING - SPOILERS BELOW!
This book was a MAJOR tease on what is to come for this series.
First thought - I love the transition to get our “official” happily ever after with Ivory and Preston. I loved being able to see their life years after the first book. Preston was still as swoon-worthy as ever!
Second, all this time I’ve thought Miller and Taylor would hit it off, but I’m EXTREMELY happy to have another character come into play. Also - Miller making jump roping videos? If only I could see that in real life. #thirsttrap
Third, this whole “fake marriage”/“it seems real to me” with Taylor and Grant…..yeah, I’m totally here for that and I need more! I have so many questions
And last, but FURTHEST from the least - Gabby. Sweet precious Gabby and her one night hook up? AND THAT ENDING. I need the next book like I need water.
Another book that felt like a home run from T Leigh Turner and I’m now anxiously awaiting the next book!

Tryst is a sizzling novella that delivers a delightful blend of sweet romance and spicy encounters. With the baseball and Hollywood romance, one-night stand and multiple character POV, this novella is jam packed with exciting reminders characters from Stranded at Second and enticing previews of books to come.

The character development of Ivy, Preston, Miller, Taylor and Gabby just in this novella are second to none. Getting to see each person’s point of view has me on edge waiting for the next book. AND WE REALLY HAVE TO WAIT A WHOLE YEAR?!?!

Tryst uses so much description of settings that you feel like you are transported to that setting and part of the event. The cliff hangers around so many characters sets up the rest of the series perfectly.

What sets Tryst apart is its ability to balance the lightheartedness of a romantic escapade with deeper themes of self-discovery and vulnerability. The characters are well-developed, and their interactions feel authentic and engaging. It keeps you on edge and wanting more, even after the last page ends.

Tryst is a perfect pick for readers seeking a quick, satisfying read that doesn’t skimp on passion or depth. It’s a testament to T. Leigh Turner’s talent for crafting stories that are both entertaining and emotionally impactful.

Tryst by T. Leigh Turner is quite possibly the best novella I have had the pleasure of reading. The detail, the drama, the spice was absolutely unmatched. This novella isn’t rushed at all and honestly the information included in this one sets the scene for the next books in the series so perfectly.

T. Leigh Turner is the author of Stranded on Second, a baseball/Hollywood romance that features Preston and Ivory. It’s the first book in the new series, Music City Troubadours. Tryst follows these two lovebirds and their closest friends as they get married in St. John’s.

There were quite a few surprises on this novella, so I’m not writing too much more in my review because I had the pleasure of being surprised, and so should you. Just know that this novella is not to be missed.

I want to thank the author for sending me this book! From the moment I opened it, I was hooked. It's easily a five-star read because of the amazing writing style. The pacing was perfect—fast enough to keep me engaged but with enough detail to really draw me in.

I especially loved the sneak peek at Gabby's story (aka Bree to Matt!). "Stealing Her Privilege" sounds super cute, and I can't wait to read it. This book itself is a delightful start to the series, and if it grabbed me this much, I'm definitely reading the others. The snippets about baseball player Preston, his coach's daughter Ivory (who he marries), manager Taylor, and Gabby, their best friend, were great. And Miller's secret romance with Chloe under a different identity? I need to know more!

Knowing that *Tryst* features a destination wedding with all these characters—Ivory, Preston, Miller, Taylor, and Gabby—plus secrets and a hot one-night stand makes me even more excited. I'm ready for the banter, baseball, and reverse age gap! This found family's story is just beginning, and I'm here for it!

I read this as an ARC and wow. Okay I can’t deny… I was worried in the beginning that the way this book started, it was going to lose me quickly. There are multiple POVs and story developments that happen throughout the story and I was worried I’d get lost in the lines but wow it was just the right amount of everything. There’s spice, there’s lust and pining, there’s slow burn openings… the author did an incredible job of really making it clear this is the START to a really good series. I loved the opening story line and connection that was created and it is impressive how attached you can get a reader in only 145 pages. My only downside is I want to read MORE I wanted the story lines to continue so I guess it’s a great thing that the series will continue! Forced proximity, ONS, age gap, and sports romance… I’m invested I can’t wait for the rest of the series!

Tryst was such a fun, quick read! If you liked Stranded on Second, you’ll definitely enjoy this one too. The spice level is just as delectable (T. Leigh Turner really knows how to bring the heat 🔥), and I loved getting to see Ivory and Preston finally get their happily ever after.

The friend group is super fun, and you can tell Turner is setting up the rest of the series in a really intentional way. I’m already excited to dive into the next stories. There’s so much potential for drama, romance, and more great character moments.

Is it the deepest read ever? No. But that’s not what I was here for. It gave me exactly what I wanted: a little escape, beautiful scenic backdrop, some solid steam, and characters I’m looking forward to spending more time with. Can’t wait to see where the series goes next!

First and foremost, I must express my utmost admiration for this captivating story. From the very beginning, it held my attention, and I found myself falling in love with the characters and their close-knit friend group. T. Leigh Turner is an absolute sweetheart, and I reached out to her, letting her know that it would take me a bit to complete this book due to one of the triggers I had recently experienced. She was incredibly kind and understanding, offering me the reassurance that I could take my time, which meant the world to me. This was my first book by her, and I eagerly anticipate diving into her next creation. This lighthearted story beautifully weaves together the themes of true love, interspersed with three other stories that explore the feelings and experiences of different individuals. THE must read novella to kick off your summer reading! It’s island vibes, a perfect proposal, the ultimate dream wedding, a smoking hot one night stand, an ex that drops into the present and is far less ex than you’d expect, and a thirst trap posting golden retriever looking more like a fool than cool in front of his internet crush and it is easily the best novella out there about a ride or die group of friends. It’s the family they choose, the memories they make, the moments, both terrifying and insanely wonderful, that they share, and all the tantalizing hints of what’s barreling towards their future’s and it’s absolutely fabulous!

This was a cute in between romance as we wait for the official book two to come out. I’m this cute little read we have the wedding of Ivory and Miller. Their love story occurs in book one. But we still learn about their love in the beginning before he proposes. While on a secret getaway with their closest family and friends to keep everything private, we meet the love stories for the rest of the gang. We learn a little bit about each character and their interactions with their future partners. Each have a unique and different experience that is wrapped in secrets of the past, hook ups, and so much more.

The blend of romance, secrecy, and spice in this multi-POV story was perfection. Ivory, Preston, Miller, Taylor, and Gabby each bring their own charm, drama, and heart to the table. Let’s just say, what happens on vacation definitely doesn’t stay on vacation.

I can't wait to read the next book in the series. This Novella was Quick, Spicy, and Absolutely Irresistible left me wanting more. Its a must read.

Preston and Ivory’s love story is the kind of fairytale romance you can’t help but hope to experience yourself.

This was my first multi-POV novella, and I absolutely loved it! The dynamic within this friend group is everything, a true found family. The banter is top-tier (Miller totally stole the show for me!). I really enjoyed getting to know each character, and now I’m eagerly counting down the days until the next book.

It’s a super quick read, I finished it in just a couple of hours. Spoiler alert: it ends on a cliffhanger, so brace yourself!

This was a really sweet novella with the right amount of spice. I loved the multiple pov and first person as you were able to feel what the characters were experiencing. The novella is a tease as the chapters leave you wanting to know more and wanting to see where things go. The author did a great job juggle the different plots of the characters and they flow into the next but maintain the uniqueness of everyone’s story. I recommend reading this!

I hadn’t read the previous book, but will now need to go back and do so because this was SO good! I’m usually not a fan of novellas since they generally don’t have enough content to interest me or to draw you in, but this was not the case with Tryst.

OHHHH the goods this book gave us!!!! I loved learning about Ivy and Preston in book one so seeing them come together with their friends for their wedding was so fun!! I adored the side characters and I LOVE this novella giving us more details for the upcoming books. We got to meet the rest of the crew and get enough info about each one of get me hooked. Each pairing is going to be so so good and I can’t wait to see what comes next!

The way I devoured this novella. I absolutely loved the multi-POV style so we got a glimpse for what is to come for each main character. It had me practically salivating while reading.

I loved that we got to experience Ivory & Preston’s wedding after reading Stranded on Second. Their whole found family dynamic is absolutely perfect and it makes me want to reread SoS 🤣

A super cute novella that really starts to give background without giving too much. I didn’t read the first book, but the catchup in story made up for it. Lots of characters, but easy to follow. Super cute. Can’t wait to see how everyone’s story unfolds.
