The moon is a harsh mistress for those with the curse, as Grace Stevens is about to find out. A two-week vacation with the promise of relaxation lures Grace to Wolf Lake, a posh watering hole high in the mountains. Strange tales, even stranger animal deaths, and a handsome cabin neighbor lead her to believe that something is amiss around the placid waters of Wolf Lake. Wolf Part One is the first entry in the Wolf Lake serial, and is not intended to be read as a standalone story.

I love mystery in the lead character. I love how the 2 lead characters are becoming friends and not starting out with all lust and sex. My only dislike is how short the books are.
This is just the intro to a longer story. Reading this I am not sure if I want to read more. It is a bit strange, with two death animals being slaughtered to pieces. The house by the lake sounds nice, but the to curious neighbor is working on my nerves already because she is annoying already. The other side with two handsome men sounds promising, but it looks like their is a secret too from that side with what they did in the night at the lake.
But I read other books by this actor which I like a lot, so many I should give the rest of the book a try to find out were all this weirdness is going.
This wolf shifter series starts out with mystery and a little horror. I really enjoyed what I have read so far and plan on reading the entire series. It is different than the other shifter books I have read. I consider myself a well read paranormal romance and intrigue person. It is my favorite genre, and currently I have other Mac Flynn books in my to read pile, and I recommend you try this author if you are as voracious a paranormal reader as I am.
I loved the adventure in the book, among with the romance. This is a great book for teens interested in sci-fi, or any one else. The only thing I did not like is the only part 1. I can't wait for the next one! So it gets a five star. And it leaves the reader want more.
I am not fussed on serialisations but must admit Flynn does it better than most. There is no overly dramatic cliffhanger, but, instead, a well developed tension through the story that leaves you wanting more. Dropping one star for the serialisation. It was a good read.
I love these little series by Mac Flynn, they are always entertaining and in shorter installments that help me when I get in a reading slump. This one has started off very interesting and I can't wait for the next one!
The drama, romance, and mystery is so much that it keeps you reading page after page and keeps you guessing who the bad guy is. This whole series is awesome.
I like it, but it's way too short. Nothing really happens and we don't really get enough time to care about the characters. I am interested in what will happen, just wish part one was longer.
It was interesting and you don't know what to expect. Ps. What happens when Grace when she meets new people at wolf park? Will she meet her hot mysterious neighbor? Why does this stranger have odd behaviors? What with all the weird/gory animal killings?
