Within the laboratories of Level Six genetic biologists have been looking for an answer to save humanity. The threat of Ebola has hovered over the world for decades and scientists are now able to protect the masses. They hold the power to inoculate against most diseases that ravage the human population.

Ursa Myers finds herself in the middle of the outbreak and must survive to save her friends from the virus released into the world. She races toward her father who holds the answer to save the remaining population but humanity will have to pay a price for salvation.

As she travels across the country she finds that she is changing into something at first frightening and then empowering. Her new powers emerge as zombies threaten to irradiate and spread the virus that has been unleashed before the world could be vaccinated. As the pressures of her former life entangle with her quest to save what’s left of humanity, Ursa’s fate is revealed. Will she embrace the changes she encounters, or give up on the new strange life she has yet to discover?

This was an okay read, but I'm glad it wasn't too long. There were a few times where it started to bore me slightly, but it wasn't too bad overall.
