Fantastic Thriller/ Mystery! This novel has it all! It has a great "mystery" to be solved...it's a "thriller" with constant twists, turns, and action galore! And it is a "romantic suspense"....IF you like military/law enforcement thrillers...THIS IS FOR YOU!!!

Grace, a marine with a serious PDST issue from her service, is suddenly involved with the ATF officers in Arizona. "Involved" is a broad word...she's a suspect, a comrade, a friend, and an enemy all rolled into one. Gared Cooper may not have served in the military, but as SAC of the Phoenix ATF, he has his share of issues...

I love how Tia Catalina took some very serious difficult criminal issues and made them not only understandable but incredibly believable. From 50% on, I was GLUED to this book. I couldn't wait to find out what happened to EVERYONE. The entire cast of characters is phenomenal!

If you're looking for a fluffy romance, this isn't your book. If you're a fan of Michael Connelly, Lee Child, or Tom Clancy...if you enjoy drama, crime, military, and law enforcement, then...THIS is for you!!! I highly recommend Blue Falcon from Tia Cantalina.

Blue Falcon is one of those late-night-in-bed reads that keep going on into the wee hours because the writing is so good you can't put it down. Grace Garcia is a kickass female protagonist with a self-deprecating sense of self and humor. The story moves fast and is suspenseful. Authentic and well-researched novel—you won't regret giving it a try.

I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.

If you like suspense, military mystery, and a strong female you will enjoy this one. The female is tough and able to hold her own. She doesn’t need anyone to take care of her and I loved that she wasn’t afraid to tell anyone this.

Grace Garcia was a Marine who is now trying to adapt to no longer being in the military. She now has something to focus on when she received a post card. She is determined to find the person the postcard was addressed to however in doing so she finds the person who wrote the letter but now someone is trying to hurt her.

Jared Cooper is the special agent in charge of the Phoenix ATF. He is adjusting to his new job and being a dad to his estranged 3 year old daughter when Grace shows up on his mom’s doorstep. Now he has to protect her which neither Grace nor Jared are thrilled about. Grace helps look after his daughter, Hope, while he tries to figure out who is trying to hurt Grace and his family & friends.
Grace is still trying to overcome her past and it is difficult with the current position she is in. She cannot get over the past when every time she turns around a reminder is thrown her way. Every time Jared thinks he is close to solving the case something happens to make him go a different direction. Will Jared figure the case out before more people get hurt? Will Jared and Grace stop trying to fight their attraction or will the case pull them apart before they can admit what they feel for one another? Can Grace overcome her past to be able to move on?

I enjoyed this story it was suspenseful and full of twist and turns that kept me turning the pages. The twists were great and I didn’t see most of them coming. After all the suspicions and deceit I was surprised at all those that were involved. Seeing the connection between Grace and Jared’s family was great .I so enjoyed the scenes with Hope, Jared’s mom and Grace.

This was the first book I have read by Tia Catalina and something tells me it won’t be the last. She had me guessing who was after them throughout the book. About the time I thought I figured it out she would throw a twist in and I would be thinking something else.

I really liked Grace because she had so much depth and so many aspects to her personality. She started out so unhappy because of her experiences in the war and she was very hard on herself. But when Jared's little girl comes into her life, Grace is so open and loving with her, putting aside Grace's trouble and having a big heart with the child. She is funny and smart and has some unusual talents, such as being able to hotwire a car (or whatever that's called).

Jared has had trouble in his life too and at first, the two of them clash on every level. He wants to tell her what to do, in order to protect her. She doesn't want to do what he says, so they butt heads a lot. Yet they understand one another's personalities from the start.

This may be a book with military terminology and criminal activity but at its core, it's a love story. That's what I liked most about it.

Suspense with romantic elements done the right way. Catalina's research into police procedure is evident. Great first book by this author. Can't wait to see what she has on the horizon.

After speaking with the author, TC Winters, at Penned Con in St. Louis, I bought her books. It's taken me awhile to read this one but I'm glad I finally did. I loved it! It took me a little while to be hooked but once I was I couldn't put it down! Stayed up late reading and got up the next morning to finish it.

Grace is a well written heroine. Strong and capable of taking care of herself but at the same time damaged by her experiences and in need of love and family. A wonderful blend of strength and vulnerability.

Jared is the strong male lead, who is damaged goods in his own way. An ATF agent with haunted family past. He doesn't want the entanglements that he believes comes with family until its thrust upon him.

This book is a slow burn romantic suspense with lots of twists and turns, some I saw coming and others not so much. It was a helluva ride to the climax of the book.

I loved this book and I'd highly recommend it.

Simply put...I loved this book! Yes, there were some predictable parts, but I love that just when I would think well clearly it is ____ TC added some detail to throw us off the scent. Additionally, the ending I expected to see one of the characters in that scenario because I thought they were complicit in the whole book, but I was NOT expecting the allies. *Yes, vague but I really don't like reviews with spoilers!*

Additionally, I enjoyed that this was a romance and a thriller that covered some very important topics that our veterans and their loved ones face. Re-integrating back into the everyday life, and with injuries, is something I cannot even imagine, but if we watch the news we see that there are veterans out there in need of assistance and hopefully this story can shed a bit more awareness of that struggle. TC shares Grace struggle and the network of veterans who want to help her. I loved the scenes where the military members all banded around her. This story showed many kind of relationships and group dynamics through very strong and personable characters. Hope is absolutely adorable and many times stole the show (in my opinion). What a brave and hilarious little girl. Joy is the mother and mother-in-law that everyone dreams of...her love for her family is absolute. Certain scenes I was blown away by her character and strength of will. While, I enjoyed how his character developed, I was not a big fan of Jared.

Ruffles..I can't even..I just smile when I read about the name. I think Grace is one of the strongest female characters I have read about in a long time. Many times my heart ached for her, other times I cheered for her and also laughed with her antics and humor. Many times I was struck by her ingenuity and really wonder if Tootsie rolls and black pepper can fill those roles. If you know..please tell me! LAst thing that I have to discuss is that gorgeous cover. Fitting for the title, the background of the book and just lovely.

If you like action, humor, romance, thriller, government type books I would recommend you read this. If that is not your genre, I still would recommend trying this out and you may be surprised because it really is an enjoyable and fast read!

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This book is one of those that are killers when you can't just sit and read it through!

The fast paced action and attention to character detail is consistent throughout the story and draws the reader further and further in until, without realising it, the reader is living the events as they happen. The characters are very well thought out and brought to life having been well researched in their particular roles as ex marines, police, etc which makes them all the more believable and the story line viable. The story throughout has many twists that are never totally visible to the reader until the information is dropped into their lap and there are some other, bigger twists that all come together to give a huge punch to the gut as they are teased out of the woodwork.

This is most definitely one that I would heartily recommend to anyone who likes a good thriller and fast action

I enjoyed reading this book. Grace Garcia is a war hero that is in need of protection. She has her trauma she endured while in war and not the same person she once was. A war does that to you. Jared Cooper is leading the team to protect her with other high ranking military professionals. It has a lot of suspense. Everyday I kept on reading more to find out what would happen next. Along with the suspense it has murder, spying and romance to name some. Even reminds me a little of the movie The Bodyguard, which is good. Not a dull moment do find out who the "blue falcon" (which refers to the military traitor that screws people over) really is and all the developments that happen. Will have you wondering. Definitely worth reading.

*A Copy of this Book Was Given To Me By The Author In Exchange For An Honest Review*

It will help if, when reading you know that Blue Falcon is a slang term for a traitor, inside man etc. This is a great tale with lead characters you will quickly identify with. Even those who can should not ‘speed-read’ this, (you will only be going back to see what you missed.) I hope we get to read further books about Grace, particularly, and Jared. They make a good pair, once together. Enjoy.

Well written and fast-paced, Blue Falcon will twinge the tin-foil hats of the government conspiracists of the world. This book is a whirlwind adventure, delving into the underbelly of gangs, Mexican cartels, drugs, and illegal weapons. ATF agents and a wounded soldier try to make sense of the grisly crimes being heaped upon them, and a budding romance tentatively ensues. A great book!

An excellent, well-plotted thriller. I loved Grace and her strong, yet damaged attitude. There were a few plot-points I felt were a little overdone to increase the drama, but over all- this is a fabulous read with some great action and fast pacing.

A Thriller in Arizona

Action and mystery kept me turning the pages from the opening grocery store robbery to the ending death of a traitor. Who can you trust?
Grace, traumatized by combat events in Iraq, is living in poverty while searching for enough pieces to re-build a life.
Jared, head of the Phoenix ATF office, is running a task force comprised of an alphabet soup of federal and local law enforcement. Grace enters his life and the threats against him increase. Is she responsible for the bombs, a dead Border Patrol agent, or drug and gun trafficking? He decides to keep her close in order to keep her and his newly discovered daughter safe.
Twists and turns take the reader deeper into the web of lies and deceit. Who is the Blue Falcon betraying the task force? Ms. Winters presents a difficult puzzle to solve.

A fast paced, suspenseful, sexy, and just all around exciting read. With a kick-ass heroine and snarky cop it made for a really great story. T.C Winters has a very captivating way of writing that makes it hard to set the book down.
I loved Grace. She's a very strong female character but also was very vulnerable at times. It made her very relatable and a really great lead. She's very feisty and a fighter but still had insecurities so it just made me like her more and root for her. I liked Jared a lot, but at times he could be a bit of a jerk. He was very hot and cold with Grace.
It was an interesting storyline with some twists and turns. The characters definitely make the story for me. I really hope to get more from this author with these characters.

"Blue Falcon" by T.C. Winters is an engaging and interesting story !

It moves along at an action packed pace with surprises along the way. Although Grace has returned both mentally and physically damaged from her overseas tour of duty, she is still able to react when situations arise.

Thank you GoodReads for the book.
