I received an ARC for a honest review.
Gage: "You're not the first person I've been attracted to and I'm confident you won't be the last. Not trying to sound harsh or anything but it is what it is. I don't believe in leading anyone on. Propositioning women isn't something I do every day, usually women come to me so bare with me if it's not pretty. You and I: one night of fun, no expectations, no idle promises with a friendly goodbye in the morning. What do you say?"
"What possibility does a relationship have if there is no trust to be had. Even if after discovering who she is, I can only offer no expectations, no questions, I won't allow room or growth for anything else."
"I don't need you to understand, what part of anything I've said have you not understood? I. DO. NOT. WANT. YOU. We were, 'were' being the key word, nothing but consensual sexual partners. We were never anything more than that. I don't know what else I can say to make you see that, we are nothing. We will never be anything more than nothing."
This is book 4 in the series with Gage and Abagail. As we remember from the previous 3 books Gage is part of Steele's Army and now we have Abagail which is a tour manager. When they meet sparks fly but its only suppose to be for ONE night that's all Gage wants he has NO trust in women what so ever. He's been burnt, broken and down that road before and he sure isn't going back. He fights tooth and nail and says things to Abagail that made me want to punch him in the face. When a book makes you talk out loud like WTF? Some might think your crazy but no not me its what I do.
Gage meets Abby at a bar and of course the proposition is brought up. Abby is truly not like that, she just doesn't hop into bed with someone she doesn't know but she does know of the BAND she's followed the band for a long time with her job as a tour manager. She may not of been their tour manager but the company she works for she knows enough. She's had a fangirl crush on Gage for years. So when this pops up you always have the good girl angel on one shoulder and the evil one on the other. GAGE: Dreamy, mouthwatering, desirable, rough, around the edges, hot and sexy. So she does it. Why not its just one time and its not likely she will ever see him again she can't offer him a forever either because of the band she's touring with. The night is explosive, but by morning the sh*t hits the fan. Now mind you, Abby hasn't told him what she does for a living and Gage doesn't ask so when Abby wakes up before him she wants to get out of there so there's no awkward moments problem is she doesn't have her phone so she goes through his jeans on the floor to find it. Gage wakes up and BAM he automatically thinks the worse starts belittling her, yelling at her, basically called her a whore. She couldn't get a word in edge wise to tell him all she was doing was looking for a phone to call a cab and get out of there. He thinks she was there to steal his money and become a fan stalker I mean literally thinks the worse.
Gage is going to flip his lid when they go on tour and finds out that Abby has been assigned as their tour manager and it wasn't Abby's doing, the company she works for put her there. So typical Gage pushes her away treats her with no respect because when he first see's her there he thinks she's there to stalk him always jumping to the wrong conclusions. Tour goes on he wants her though but he won't tell her that, there's no way in hell he's going to get suckered into a relationship. He of course propositions her again seems how they are going to be around each other for months to come he wants another no strings attach.
Abby is sometimes weak but she can stand up for herself and she will fight for what she wants. She loves Gage and she wants to save him from himself. Will Gage finally man up and do what is right and follow his heart and take what is right in front of him or will he do what he's always done?

Gage is one of the band members in Steeles' Army. They are now given a new band manager by the name of Abagail.
However Abagail and Gage are not strangers to each other. They had a one night stand right before Gage learns she is their manager. Things did not end well when they were together as he accused of her trying to steal from him when he catches her going through his pants pocket. All she wanted was his cell to make a phone call for a taxi.
Later he learns the truth of it. But then he starts playing this texting game with her.
Things between these two are Sizzling hot one minute then freaking stressful the next.
Gage is horrible to Abby but she doesn't give up or at least she tries not to give up.
Will Gage get over his commitment issue?
Will Abby be there when he does?
I enjoyed learning about Gage and this book was very forth coming with his past experiences and why he feels how he does.
I love that the females in this series are strong and willful.
There are some errors in the book and the ending left me wanting to know more about what happened between these two.
I would still recommend it as the series is really good I have read all 4 books so far.

Blowing away !! I think AL totally blew this book away she wrote with such passion that it made Me Love Gage more then the other 2 I love how much chemistry is between Gage & Abigail. You could tell they were meant together from the beginning. But f course Gage has skeletons that make him push her away.. If you want a amazing Rocking Roll Love story then This is one of the 5 books that will truly blow you away!! Pick up book 1-3 first then read this one :)

Wanting more
save me was such a great book. it left me wanting to know more about gate's past and what the future would hold for him and Abby. there could be another book just about them and I would love it. I definitely recommend this book to anyone. Great job A Wood. I loved it.

First and foremost I am really enjoying this series. Loving these characters. I really hate to write a negative review BUT
A scene in the last book was ignored. It changes the way this story starts and plays out. It really bothered me. I enjoyed the story and if I wasn't binge reading this series I MIGHT have forgotten or missed the little tidbit but as it is I cannot. The premise of the story makes no sense because of it. It really ruined the book for me!
Not going to give up on the series. On to book 5!

Gage and Abby are an interesting mess. With past hurts and insecurities from Gage, it becomes almost impossible for Abby to have any hope of a future with him. Will he see her for what she is? Will Abby become another regret. A great read.

Gage and Abigail’s story – Abby has had a crush on Gage for years. He’s a sexy rock star – who wouldn’t be in love with him? Gage is all about one night stands. They meet at a bar and Gage offers Abby one night – no strings. The next morning Gage wakes up to find Abby rifling through his pants pockets. He immediately assumes she’s robbing him and yells at her to leave causing her to run out in tears. A few months later Abby gets assigned as manager of Steele Army (Gage’s band.) He thinks that Abby is stalking him and is mean and hateful for her for the beginning of the tour.
I loved this story – however, I have to give it a 4 star rating because I felt the ending was rushed. It really needed another chapter or two. We get our HEA but it’s so abrupt! I am super stoked to begin the next book though.

I was so not ready for the end. I wanted more, like a lot more. It was so good.
Gage has never been in my "radar" but I was glad this was his story and I fell in love with him right away. Abagail was a cool character and one that I liked being paired with Gage but I feel like I need to know more about both Gage and Abagail. Maybe we will get a glimpse at there relationship on the next book? I hope so anyways...
Loved the ending even though I actually screamed because it ended and I was left wanting more. But the end was so romantic and cute, loved it!
Can't wait for the next one.

The forth book in this series and I have to say that I felt it ended far to quickly... With Gage suddenly after fighting for so long just saying ok, and heading straight to Abby... It wasn't convincing for me but that doesn't take away that I am loving this series and especially getting to know these sexy rockers on a deeper level :) bring on the next!

Firstly, the point of story was okay and I think if it would be longer then it would be awesome book.
But sadly everything went on so fast and sometimes it was total cliche and I really thought that I won't read it anymore. And I just stop right here and now.

I loved Gage and Abagail's story! Gage was being a complete dick but I loved how Abagail handled him! Stories like this are my favorites! I love reading about each band members love story!!
