This book features Aaron the oldest of the four MacDonald brothers. After leaving Highland Bay years ago and all making their own way the death of their father brings them back.
“To my boys, I leave their grandfather’s house and property of ten acres. And, the one hundred acres of beachfront property with that abandoned lodge their grandfather never completed...."
So all four brothers Aaron, Blake, Layne and Donnan agree to give it a year. If they couldn’t open for next summer, then they’d all go their separate ways.
Open it does but it's been a long hard year for Aaron, a year when his private life has suffered.
Aaron likes submissive women and his strict goal is to never f**k the same woman more than twice, It makes life complicated.
Elsie is staying at Seaside Escape for her sisters wedding plus she has an article to write on the resort and the MacDonald brothers. Elsie is the female equivalent of Aaron , she's career orientated and never has sex with the same man more an twice.
These two are instantly attracted to each other but what will happen when they each meet their equal.
The reviews for this book are really good so I suspect it's a case of it's me not the book but this didn't completely work for me mainly because I didn't particularly like either Aaron or Elise especially....

Aaron MacDonald is the oldest of the Mac brothers, the one that had to grow and take care of his younger brothers and be the adult after their Mom abandoned them, and their father quit being responsible. When he returns to Highland Bay, a place he couldn’t wait to leave when he was younger, it will come with memories and unexpected news—an abandoned lodge, started by their grandfather and left for the boys. Now decisions for their future will need to be decided.
Aaron has rules he adheres to with women, he likes them submissive, and he has a two times rule, and then it ends. He doesn’t have time for relationships and doesn’t want complications. Then the first wedding booked into the newly opened Seaside Escape Resort, and he meets Elsie Chisholm.
Elsie is the maid of honor and sister to Katie, and her wedding will be the first for the resort. Elsie lives and works in New York and is making partner in Modern Woman magazine. She will feature the new resort and MacDonald brothers in the next issue. Elsie is a woman who knows her sexuality, what she wants, but has a no-commitment rule, it is all fun and done.
The plot will have two people, both very career oriented meeting at the Seaside Resort for a wedding. Elsie and Aaron both feel an instant sexual attraction. Can they enjoy the sexual chemistry for a little fling, part ways, and then go back to business as usual?
The chemistry between Aaron and Elsie sizzles off the pages when they come together. Each will discover a little give and take adds to their explosive encounters. The story is a steamy romance, with detailed descriptions of their sexual intimacy.

Meet Aaron Mac, oldest of the Mac brothers who gets a call from the town lawyer he and his brothers grew up in on coastal Nova Scotia. Aaron has a successful construction business in Toronto and the lawyer tells Aaron that all the brothers must come. He's the eldest of 4. Their mother left when the boys were too young, their father was either fishing or at the pub leaving Aaron responsible for his brothers.
He arrives back in town first and meets with the attorney at the old farm house, unsure of what sort of legacy their father could possibly have left, they walk down to the shoreline and there in its crumbling state is a Seaside Resort their Grandfather started to build, never finished and long since neglected. Aaron's wheels start turning. Of course there's a catch in the will. Which you find out when you read the book. Aaron loves women, never settled down and enjoys his freedom. His head is almost always stuck in business mode until he meets Elsie. I loved her. Boy when Aaron falls, he falls. What a treat to see these two come together and man, the sparks fly between these two. The book was steamy. I loved it. Angela writes a great book and this book has it all, right from the cover to the last page.
Read the series. Each brother has a book and you'll fall in love with them. The menfolk are seriously droolworthy. I loved this book!!!

A short quick racy read of two strangers who separately vow to only commit to one night stands, maybe two but don't realize yet what broken rules can lead to.
While I would have loved more character development, this novella packed a punch and left me wondering about the characters past and future. A phone call starts this story off, one that would normally devastate a son but, in this case, brings dread of another kind. It also brings reunion as four brothers, each alluding to a messy past, come their separate ways to their former home in Nova Scotia, Canada where more than their past surfaces.
Written in a way that gets the calmest of hearts racing, Ford did a great job of weaving intrigue through transparency!
And a Canadian author, too!

Aaron MacDonald and his brother built a seaside resort to complete their grandfather’s dream. Along with this resort come fame, fortune and hot women who want to hang on their arm but not hang around. This is just the way Aaron likes it until he meets Elsie Chisholm. The problem is she is a love a couple of times and then leave “um type of woman. Things get really heated and they are faced with a decision of whether more than twice is enough.
This is a great start to The Mac Brothers Series. I eagerly look forward to getting to know Blake, Layne and Donnan and their stories as well. This is a short, sexy read.

This one is from a author that the gift to take you away with her characters pulling you. This is also a opener for a series featuring some interesting brothers that must come together if their adventure is to work. When they get a inheritance the oldest Aaron suggests something that will take all four of them and so it begins. When in full swing with success happening Aaron will also get some treats in the form of romance. Elsie is there for sister and a article but she too will get so much more with the two of them combined things will heat up. As we get burned in this one will also will get to have a prefectly good time all the way to the end with these two.

Seaside Seduction is a quick yet enjoyable read. Both Aaron and Elsie have a rule to never spend more than two nights with someone. So when Elsie shows up at the resort Aaron runs with his brother, their instant chemistry threatens to break their rules.
Aaron and Elsie are good together. They both are similar and understand what the other one is looking for. I liked how both Aaron's brothers and Elsie's sister pushed for the two of them to be together and, in a way, played matchmakers.
If you're looking for a quick, steamy read, you should add this to your reading list.

Enjoyable read with a delightful story line that I found hard to put down. The characters are strong and determined with great interactions.Aaron and Elsie are both career minded individuals but have a unique sexual chemistry together. Can't wait to see what's next in this series.

Aaron and Elsie were a fast love match that had me reeling right with them. It was full of hot passion and left me with a permanent smile the entire time. I especially loved the ending. Very powerful show of love! Book gifted to me as part of a set.

Secrets, surprises and seduction! This story has it all and some scorching scenes. The Mac brothers are hot as heck and what every woman wants! Loved this book and can’t wait to read the next Mac brother story.
