Mastering the Virgin Box Set Five. I am hooked on this series!! I have read several of the other books pertaining to Charlotte, Michael, and James' future. Now going back and reading how some of their relationship came to be gives me a better understanding of them and the relationship they cherish. This book continues the storyline of Charlotte trying to help Elizabeth from kidnappers, but yet giving us more insight of the past that Charlotte had to deal with growing up and trying to escape the ruthlessness of the Blessingsmoors house. This is a steamy BDSM story with a good amount of suspense to get the reader engaged in the story. The characters are so authentic and sexy. This is a must read book. Depending on the familiarity of the reader with the story to this point, there could be a Spoiler in this review. At the start of the three book anthology, Charlotte and her friend Elizabeth were held captive by traffickers, the same people who ran a horrendous orphanage named Blessingmoors. The head of the ring, Klempner was trying to convince Charlotte that she was a bastard child, but he was in love with her mother and in reality killed her father. She leads them to safety out of the underground tunnels, she knew from her schooling. Charlotte, aka Jenny in her life before the triad and her selling her virginity even married a boy from the town, although she found out he was gay after their marriage. When he couldn't consummate the marriage, giving her a divorce so she could leave there and go to the university as she dreamed, then meeting her Master, James. There are a series of flashbacks in the story about Charlotte's younger days, before James and Michael, when she was known as Jenny....and a policeman's memories from years ago when he first became entangled with the traffickers. Charlotte and Beth ere rescued, but battered and bruised, so taken to a safe location owned by James, but there was a fire, supposedly by terrorists, with them being trapped in the penthouse. There was a helicopter rescue from the rooftop, but the dirty cop could hear James yelling to the pilot over the noise from the helicopter, where they were being taken. Charlotte assisted the police in finding the traffickers by going over blueprints of the old subway system so that put her in danger again as the head of the ring, Klempner had a vendetta against her for bringing down a previous enterprise with the orphan's home...Michael and James are besides themselves with worry, but Charlotte and Michael have some walls up between them that need to be worked out, but at the end of the second segment James is gravely wounded, airlifted to the hospital, and survives his injuries. After his surgery, staying at Richard and Beth's beach house, and is getting better by the day, although not as fast as he would like to enable him to take part in the triad's activities without assistance....but you will have to read the book to see if the triad can work out their problems or if more trouble is coming their way...

Simone and her men survive all the tragedy thrown at them
Simone is one of my favorite authors who writes in dual point of view. I have read through this series wondering how it will all end, and Simone did not disappoint. This boxset contains the following stories:

Hunters - Charlotte and Elizabeth are Hunted
James, Michael and Richard are waiting for another signal from Charlotte’s tracer who was kidnapped in order to find where Elizabeth is being held captive. When they see their women running, they quickly encounter other vehicles firing at them. Elizabeth is pushed by Charlotte towards their Masters’ vehicle to be rescued while Charlotte runs in a different direction to split the enemy. Losing sight of Charlotte has them all frustrated but they have to trust that Charlotte will be safe and make it home. Will Charlotte be able to regain the relationship she shares with James and Michael? Will the enemy recapture Charlotte and Elizabeth? You will have to read to find out about Charlotte’s resourcefulness and learn how Charlotte’s prior years played into her character. Though you are left hanging for the next book Saviours which I hope is soon.

Saviours - Masters to the rescue
The story continues with drama that quickly draws you in to the story. The bad guys try to flush Charlotte and Elizabeth from the building by setting fire to it. But Richard, Elizabeth’s husband is resourceful, so they escape and all go into hiding. A flashback from 6 years ago has Jenny (now Charlotte) marrying and more behind the scenes that will influence the present. But in the present, Charlotte and Elizabeth are again captured. When Richard, James and Michael discover their location, they go to rescue them. Will everyone make it out alive? You have to read to find out and you will not want to put the book down till you flip the last page. I can’t wait till the next part of the story.

Family- Charlotte’s family pulls together in tough times
The story continues with James in critical condition rushed to the hospital after taking a bullet for Charlotte. Charlotte refuses to leave James’ side until he wakes and Michael stays for Charlotte and his friend. Upon waking, James is weak and wonders if he will ever be able to engage their lifestyle. The book reveals more of Charlotte’s past and how Charlotte decided to auction herself. Will the trio get their groove back? You have to read to find out and will enjoy this last of the series.

This the 5th Box set and conclusion to the Mastering the Virgin story, but it feels like there are some unfinished business. Perhaps the story gets expanded upon in the remaining stories. I understand that the Buying the Virgin and Bought By the Billionaire Box Sets are intertwined with this series, and perhaps goes beyond the ending of this Box set? I guess I have a lot more books to get!

This Box set has a lot of twists and turns. It continues to go back and forth in time to give us the back story of what Charlotte endured to get to present day, actually, back to Book 1 when she auctioned off her V card so she could afford to put herself through university.

There is still a lot of sexy times. But also more suspense, thrills and action! Charlotte has a great mind for troubleshooting and solving problems, including how to get herself and Beth rescued from kidnappers.

The story is well told! Mainly from the POV of the men (Richard, James, Michael and Klempner). There were a lot of chapters from Richard's POV. This surprised me since this series is supposed to be about Charlotte, James and Michael. Kudos to Simone Leigh for her excellent writing! But how realistic is this story? I don't know. I truly hope that something like this tale could never happen! This is fiction after all! So with that in mind, sit back with your favourite mug of something warm to drink, and enjoy the ride!

This box set is action packed and hard to put down once you start. I loved reading about their triad and highly recommend this series as well as Buying the Virgin and Bought by the Billionaire!
Hunters – Action and suspense! Charlotte felt she owed Richard and she used herself as bait to save Beth. James and Michael are not happy with her, but Michael is uncharacteristically harsh. Told in James and Richards POV. We also learn more about Charlotte / Jenny’s time growing up on the farm.
Saviors - WOW! This is intense suspense! Told in James and Richards POV mostly, with Charlotte's back story mixed in as well. I enjoyed reading more about Charlotte's past. Charlotte and Michael are working out their issues, but she is not safe yet...
Family - This is the conclusion to the Mastering the Virgin series. It picks up where the last book left off. The POV in this book is James and Richard, not really Michael's. James was shot protecting Charlotte. This book is about his recovery physically and worrying about if Charlotte and Michael will still accept him if he were permanently disabled. Richard also worries about who will take care of Beth if something were to happen to him. The flashbacks of Charlotte's last five years are woven in ending the day of the auction. Just a little bit of BDSM tied the story up nicely.

Great storyline!
This set of books is all about the continuing relationship between Charlotte, Michael and James. This set is told from the point of view of the Doms, James and Michael. This is the timeframe that encompasses the 5 years before Charlotte meets James and Michael and present day. The box set includes Hunters (book 16), Saviors (book 17), and Family (book 18). This has a sinister sub-plot Charlotte is still being stalked by Klempner and his police snitch, Corby. They are also stalking Beth, the heroine in Bought by the Billionaire. Both women are kidnapped once again. And once again Charlotte won’t sit back and let her Doms take care of things. But as often is the case even in real life, things don’t go as planned. The last book, Family, is all about the aftermath of the kidnapping and finding a new normal for the Triad. It is an absolutely captivating read. The POV of the men made the story so much more realistic. I never felt lost in the story or that I was reading the story in the middle. Simone’s storytelling skills are excellent. She gives just enough background without it being retelling of previous books. Of course it’s sizzling hot. It’s in the BDSM genre so you should expect that and Simone delivers! I can’t wait to read the rest of her books. I recommend this book!

This compilation provides more information about Charlotte's background.

Hunters: Charlotte has disobeyed her masters and gone after her kidnapped friend. She is wearing trackers, but they don't work inside. She manages to help Beth escape, but she draws of the pursuit. Is she going to get back to her masters or will she be recaptured? This book is part of a series, and it makes a lot more sense if you have read earlier books.

Saviours: 0harlotte and Beth are captured again. Her masters and Richard hunt for her, and now they know the name of the informer with the police. We see more of Charlotte's past with flashbacks that help to explain why things are happening now.

Family: James is in hospital after being shot. Charlotte and Michael are waiting anxiously to see if he recovers. Richard realises that one of the reasons that James had created their menage was so Charlotte had a protector if something happened to James. Richard is left wondering if he should organise something for Elizabeth's protection as well.

Simone has written such an amazing series. I am so glad I was able to fill in the missing pieces in this box set. For me, and Simone's series, it has been back and forth. I've read the books out of order, gone back to the beginning, and started reading in order. For me, I don't mind at all.... I am just re-reading the books I read out of order. When the writing is engaging, the characters so well developed, a fantastic plot, hot and steamy love scenes... well Simone has me hooked! I can just imagine the room she writes in.... her walls must be plastered with post-it notes to keep everything moving along so smoothly from book to book. Thank you Simone for writing such amazing entertainment!

When home they think they are safe..Beach and klempner is still trying to get Elizabeth and Charlotte . Micheals and Charlotte relationship is finally get back somewhat back and the 3 are trying just to get back to life . Plus a lot more of the past is coming out.Then the story is after James has been shot protecting Charlotte and her protecting elisabeth . This also has Richard thinking about Elizabeth if something happened to him. And more of Charlotte past. Awesome story I love this series and can't wait to see where the next book goes because you are always wanting to know more about these characters. 10 stars best series.

What a cliff-hanger the last book left us with. If you have read the BTV series you already have the basic answer. Here we are privy to more of the gentlemen's POV with their emotions and motivations which I enjoy immensely.
We learn a lot more of Charlotte's history, filling in even more blanks than any before. And Richard has a very prominent place here as well. We get to see him in action in several areas and it's wonderful witness.
Again the BTV series also gives you the barebones of the ending of the thriller part of the trio's story. There is so much more in between and I loved finally learning all of it.
Thank you Simone for answering so many of our questions and yet leaving the story to be continued...

I have read the books in this box set before so I would refer you to my reviews of those individual books if you want details. I will just say again that the books are all fantastic and deserve high praise. There are so many other books to read as well and hours of enjoyment to have if you want to read the related books. The suggested reading order list is available on Leigh's website, and some of the books are currently free. I have read ALL her books now and just can't recommend them highly enough! Those that must be purchased are well-worth the price, as you can easily tell by the free ones. Reading some of the earlier ones makes the later books that much more fun to read. Enjoy!

This is another great box set from the "Mastering the Virgin" series. The series keeps getting better and better. I love the alternating points of view from the men and also the flash-backs from Charlotte/Jenny's past. The reader really gets to see the early years that made Charlotte the brave survivor she is today. She can be so naive and submissive sometimes, but other times she is as fierce as a tigress. She is loyal and faithful, as are all three men. I love the bonds of camaraderie between the men as they protect the women they love. Soo good!

Simone Leigh has easily become one of my favorite authors. This book contains quite a bit of action as the two main females in this series are kidnapped. This forces their Masters and lover to find them and rescue them. This box set contains 3 books each continues the storyline and offers more details of the women’s history. A great read if you like well developed characters and situations. This box set has it all – action, mystery, suspense and steamy love scenes. Once you open this book and start reading you are not going to want to put it down until you have read the end!

Wow... what can I say??? This is definitely an intense rollercoaster read. Understanding the reactions of the Master and Lover to Charlotte's decisions has been enlightening. Absolutely loved the snapshots into Charlotte's past too. So many questions I'm hoping will be answered soon... What is Klempner's new game?... What will Richard do about Elizabeth's interest in Michael?... Will the trio still be happy when the wedding comes around?... Can't wait for more about my new favourite trio and side duo!!!.

I enjoyed this latest installment of the series. The book jumps between past and present and it was intriguing to see how the past would link up to how the series began. I usually avoid reading series focusing on one romantic couple (or triad, as in this case) longer than three books because of character and drama fatigue (i know I have hit my limit when I start thinking "How much more can these characters take???"). Happily, I felt no such fatigue here. Can'tnwait to start the next one!

We finally get to see the "conclusion" of the build up between the bad guys and this trio. The story isn't over though. Now that Beth is captured, we see Charlotte step up but will this end badly?
It's good to see how the whole plot and big players are related to each other based on their history. This book also continued with it's glimpse of the past that led up to today's events. Everything seemed settled, but, alas, it doesn't look that way anymore.

The stories are written with care to the previous stories and advance the characters in dramatic fashion.

I thought this series couldn't get any better and it does! This set of books still had those steamy hot scenes between Charlotte, James and Michael. This was ramped up with the kidnapping of Beth, but what really shines through is the amazing and ever resilient Charlotte. I found this set so exciting, thrilling and always so fun to read.

Charlotte, James, and Michael's story continue. This is more of their story. This one deals with more issues like trafficking. Charlotte uses herself as bait and we know that things never work out they way you think they will. This also deals with the aftermath of the situation. I think this might one of the best series. I loved how we get to get a little more information about Charlotte's past and also get to see her helping Elizabeth with her kidnapping situation.
