Harper and Vic wake up married, but neither can remember anything about it!
A fake marriage where the characters eventually fall for each other is a seriously overused trope, but this story is imaginative. However, the writing style is… unusual. Some paragraphs are made up of a long chain of five or six word sentences, which makes this feel very contrived. Maybe this is trying to show the stress and chaos of Harper’s thought patterns? It felt very disjointed. I think the story is trying for comedy in places, but it fails spectacularly.
Overall it’s worth reading, but don’t expect a literary masterpiece
