Special audio book edition narrated by the author.
Author, D. Jonathan Brudie, takes you deep inside the realm of madness, superstition, and depravity, where you will find yourself immersed in the array of horrors that await. If you crave terrifying fiction in all of its guises then this is a book you must hear. All eleven short stories and poems will haunt your mind and fire your imagination. From murderous fiends to apocalyptic prophecies, every story offers its own unique, and often times shocking, glimpse at what frightens and disturbs us.
I'm an avid reader, filmmaker and graphic artist. I love horror in all of its forms and particularly enjoy writing about what scares me. Hopefully, these are the things that will scare you as well. "Dribs n Drabs" is my first collection of short stories that I feel run the gamut of horror and disturbing fiction. I am currently completing my novel "Cold Logic"...
got in the mail this morning. took it with me to the dentist office and started reading it while I was waiting to be seen. read the first 42 pages so far. the book was also signed by the author. Dribs n Drabs was a very interesting book. I actually got into it and read it in one sitting. if you are into horror books this is a must read. to me it is worth buying for self or for a horror fan or book lover. Awesome.
Very awesome! Little twisted tales of horror, and some great poetry to add to the mix. Brudie wrote some great stories that capture you right away and keep you on the edge of your seat 'til the end. Quite a few shocking endings in these terror-filled short stories. If you're looking for something scary yet also shocking, cringy, and full of gory details, then this book is for you! Excellent!
This is a short book of horrror stories and some poetry. I really enjoyed the mix of stories and the poetry, because you don't often see horror poetry these days. The poetry imagery and wording really invokes a sense of being unsettled, as do the stories. The author is very descriptive and I love the use of wording in the short stories. He does a great job of setting the scene and building up the atmosphere. Each story has a unique feel to it, but each was a great read that left me wishing that I had more.
