Three contemporary romance and erotica authors bring you the collection INKED--three full-length novels centering around all things tattoos.

All sales from INKED will benefit women in need of mastectomy tattoos and tattoos that cover scars. Award-winning, world-renowned tattoo artist Madame Lazonga specializes in tattooing women, particularly in beautifying women who have experienced the scars that surviving cancer can leave behind.

PUNCTURED, BRUISED, AND BARELY TATTOOED – Jade C. Jamison

Kory McCallister has had her eyes on tattoo artist Stone Bowman for quite some time—so long, in fact, that no other guy will do. Stone pushes every turn on button Kory has—he’s tattooed from head to toe (well, at least she prays he’s tattooed on his lower half); he’s hot; he’s funny and charming; and he’s also mysterious. So when Kory’s friends dare her to ask Stone out on a date, she can’t believe she actually finds the guts to do it.

More surprising? He takes her up on the offer.

She discovers that, while his past might not be quite as dark or mysterious as she’d imagined, it’s bigger than she’d expected, and it’s something she will need to contend with if she decides she wants to keep him around to color her life for good.

SHATTERED STRINGS – JM Walker

Evancroft. This one word means everything to me. My band. My heart. My life. Without the music, I am nothing. I don’t exist. When we play, we are one. We are in control.

On stage I am a woman. Powerful. Dominating. Forcing the crowd to submit to my words. Off stage? I am the complete opposite. Innocent.

Jace Croft. He is the oil to my water. The darkness to my light. My band mate. My best friend.

One unexpected night together unleashes new feelings that we both try to ignore but the band comes first. It always comes first.

Or so I thought.

HOUSE OF PAYNE – Stacy Gail

Life is supposedly what you make of it, but that’s crap as far as 3D artist Becks Delgado is concerned. She never wanted her brother to die in a car accident… or to be the one who was behind the wheel. Her external scars are nothing compared to the raw wounds inside, and death seems to be the only way to find peace.

Sebestian Payne took the concept of a tattoo parlor and transformed it into a sophisticated gallery of living art. The House Of Payne now caters to the rich and infamous, has garnered a worldwide following, and is run by Sebastian with an iron fist. He knows Becks is exactly what The House Of Payne needs, but there’s a problem. The accident that changed her life left its mark on him as well, and whether he likes it or not, it’s time to put his House in order.

i have 2 review for this anthology: JM Walker and Jade Jamison

This is a review for Shattered Strings by JM Walker

I received this book from the author for an honest opinion.
JACE IS YUMMMMMMY Goodness!! Yup that is how I am gonna start this out. Read it and you will agree to his yummy qualities. Well you gotta love brooding, alpha male who is a man whore but falls in love with his best friend aka Katie aka Kitten!!
So this book starts out with Katie and Jace giving eyes to one another but Katie kinda thinking “dude he is my best friend what is up with me?” Well a night with tequila and Katie wakes up naked and screwing an unknown mad. She falls back to sleep and stumbles outta bed and discovers……GASP…it was JACE not a stranger!! *Que WTF Music* Well Jace is stunned and at the same time GLAD its Katie or his Kitten.
So the two begin to “feel things out” and begin non-dating….LOL. When a band member discovers Katie and Jace’s non-relationship, he admits his love for her too while the other wants to kill Jace for possibly hurting his “Little Sister”. Well Jace and Katie deal with insecurity and this new dynamic when Katie slips up and says “the three little words”……UGH AND CRAP!!!!!
Jace is totally lost because in his way loves Katie but can’t understand why she would love him. He is so happy to be with her but so scared that he will screw it up…his track record proves him not to be the best boyfriend. The relationship has ups and downs but the ending chapters were great. A HUGE CONFLICT and admissions are made that left me GASPING!!! The epilogue was great. I loved seeing characters from JM are other series (The Torn series).
This is a great book that I sat and read in a couple hours one Sunday afternoon. If you have read JM you know that the “sexy time’ scenes are indeed very sexy so she will not disappoint you in that department!!

PUNCTURED, BRUISED, AND BARELY TATTOOED – Jade C. Jamison

I received this book from the author for an honest opinion.

I am a huge fan of Jade's....like prolly crazy stalker girl fan. So when Jade says she has a new book....TBR ASAP. When she asked me to read this one, i was stoked!! I mean hottie tattooed man..yes please!! But if you are a fan of her books, you might notice something different about this book. The vibe is a little different but it is an awesome different. The story line is really deep and intense. Stone has had a rough life but Kory is such a strong woman and her life is a MESSSSSSSS. To have gone though everything she did and be "normal" is a testiment to human survival.

So Kory is a young woman who is struggling to survive but doing it on her own. She has been going to the same tat shop for 2 years because she has a little crush on the tat shop worker Stone. He also is the guy who she trusts with piercing her. Well on a dare from her friends she asks him out. He says "do you know who I am?" Which is kinda a weird statement right??? Kory is like "Tat dude?" and so they go out.....we find out after the very first sleep over that Stone has some secrets...and boy are they big. But he asks Kory to trust him and not dig into his past. When he is ready he will spill. Kory, the queen of secrets, agrees to not google him to find out his story because she is trying to hide her story. Man, when she spills part of her story, it was tough and intense but Stone was there to comfort her. The two are bonding *snickers* in more way then one and come to lean on each other through the hards times.

Well Kory is accidently told Stones secret and Stone is on freak out mode. He is so hopeful everythig is alright because Kory is defo an important person to him. But even crazier is when Kory spills her entire story.....OMG. The two are so right for each other and complete the other totally. She gives him the grounded woman he was do desperate for and he gives her the untimate loving relationship full of trust that she has been in desperate need for.

This review is of Punctured, Bruised and Barely Tattooed...but there are also two other very good stories to be enjoyed...and for the tiny price of 99 cents. As well, you are donating to a wonderful cause when you purchase this book...All sales from INKED will benefit women in need of mastectomy tattoos and tattoos that cover scars!
In Jamison's PB&BT Kory McCallister and Stone Bowman are both damaged and abused people (one more so than the other, in my opinion) although Stone is anything BUT barely tattooed…the man is a walking canvas of art.
When student Kory keeps going into Stone’s tattoo and piercing studio repeatedly, to get one piercing after another, mainly so she can see and be touched by the hunkalicious Stone, you just know the girl has problems and some deep-seated emotional trouble. Stone is the calming force and safety she needs (more like a safe harbor in the midst of a storm) in the face of some terrible memories and trauma from her youth that keeps waking her at night with nightmares and crippling anxiety.
After some encouragement from her supportive roommates and friends Lacey and Tina, Kory takes a chance and asks the brooding and gorgeous Stone out on a date and much to her shock, he accepts.
What follows is a beautiful and slow-paced but semi-erotic love story of learning how to let go of a painful past and trusting your future needs will be met by the right person…and that opening up and telling the truth, is freeing and healing.
BOTH Kory and Stone are keeping secrets from each other…she, about her painful and violent past and he, about who he really is and why he pretends to be someone else.
“Pain is temporary, but fear…fear can haunt you”. Not necessarily so, as Stone helps Kory understand that some pain will stay with you forever…but you can’t let it stop you from living.
I loved how complex the characters are in this book (as with all of Jamison’s books, she paints such a vivid picture of each person for the reader that you really feel like you KNOW them) and it was hard not to be completely drawn into their lives and anxious for them to find happiness. Her leading men are always SO alpha male and sexy and such dominant personalities…but with Stone, we have a gorgeously strong and sensual man who is also a very gentle, compassionate lover and while he might have a bad boy” appearance on the outside, he is anything BUT on the inside.
“This was a hand she thought she’d want to hold forever, because of the man attached to it.”
Seriously, this was such an emotional journey of discovery for two people who need that anchor they have been missing in their lives and I recommend this book for romance lovers everywhere who like some edge (and rock and ink) with their love stories.

Series: not applicable
Category /Genre: Contemporary Romance
Recommended for: 18+ due to sexual content
Grammar/editing: ungraded – book received as an unedited ARC / errors excused
Received from: Jade C. Jamison (in exchange for an honest review)

My review is for Jade C. Jamison’s PUNCTURED, BRUISED, AND BARELY TATTOOED. This is a stand-alone story developed for this anthology.

Kory has the hots for the local tattoo artist, Stone. She’s afraid of needles, so instead of tattoos she keeps returning for piercings. She won’t allow any other artist to work her body modifications. She’s running out of places to pierce without getting too intimate, but she wants to keep seeing Stone. Her friends talk her into asking him out. She is surprised when he agrees.

This is a story of survival. Both Kory and Stone have pasts that can cause nightmares. They are dealing with them differently, but those differences provide each with a strength that seems to shore up the other. There is a delicate, well-maintained balance between the dark of their past and the lightening hope for their future. I loved their interaction. It wasn’t always perfect, but it was so real. There is also the fun mystery of why Stone asked Kory to not Google him. What was sweet was that Kory didn’t. She allowed him time to decide to share his secret. Even more priceless was her reaction when his secret was accidentally revealed by another.

Final word: another fantastic read from Jade. Do not miss this anthology!

This art is not cheap, but it can be incredibly healing for women. This is for Punctured, Bruised, and Barely Tattooed.

I received this book from the Author for an honest review.

Can I tell you how excited I get when Jade C. Jamison gives me the opportunity to beta read about her new book…Uh yes of course is always my answer. This is about a sexy tattoo artist, Stone Bowman, and Kory McCallister who has had a crush on Stone for a while now.

Kory would get piercings but only by Stone just so she could see him. She was running out of placed to get pierced and was trying to work her way up to a tattoo. You see she is afraid of needles and didn’t thing she could handle the needle on the tattoo gun. One day her friends dared her to ask him out and when she did was she was surprised he said yes. Stone is surprised when she doesn’t know who he is and asked her not to go snooping. Kory agrees not to google him ask questions. She has secrets of her own and understands so she is true to her word and doesn’t go snooping or ask questions.

Stone is alpha male but very in tune to what and when Kory needs something. He knows something is going on with her but doesn't push. He was exceptionally great with her when she lets him in on her past. However, He does go into panic mode when she finds out about who he really is.

You can tell these two are prefect for each other and are a perfect mach no matter the age difference. I love that he takes things slow and love the dates they go on. She is such a strong woman survived so much and he is the perfect man to help her see her dreams and help her get where she wants to go. I loved this how much trust and love there was in this story.

Thank you again for allowing me to read your baby

I bought this collection for the good cause that I fully support. Anything to empower women is near and dear to my heart!

As for the stories, they are all different and unique in their own way. I really enjoyed each male and female lead and even found other stories from each of these authors to enjoy afterward. I really recommend this collection, great and quick reading.

An excellent anthology with three first-rate stories. I was especially fond of House of Payne and the excellent character development of the novel. The proceeds go to help women get tats to cover mastectomies--- I'll be purchasing a few more to give as gifts. A worthy cause, an excellent value, and a great way to spend an afternoon!
