Promiscuous Girl

Rate this book
Life moves at a fast pace and you either move with it, or get left behind. Taraj was introduced into the game of life at the ripe age of eleven. Against her will, she’s thrust into some of the seediest acts known to man. She soon finds out that this world is cruel, and she must fight against the grain to truly live.

One tumultuous situation after another, Taraj attempts to weather the storms. Steve is the man that is forcibly in her life. He seemingly offers his helping hand to a troubled Taraj, but his help comes at a heavy price. Eventually, things seem grimier than ever before…until Taz enters the picture. Coming fully equipped with his own demons, he’s the unlikeliest person to ever reach back and rescue the next. But there’s something about Taraj that compels him to save her, even if she’s unaware of needing saving.

In Taraj’s world, being pretty had never done a thing for her besides bringing heartache and pain to her doorstep. Surely Taz is just like all the others; waiting to take advantage. Life has hardened her, and she’s become a promiscuous girl. Therefore, she can’t see the forest for all the trees. Ultimately, she needs to be saved from herself; but who’s willing to take on that task? Will Taz be her knight in shiny armor, or will he lead her down a fast road of self-destruction?

This book was great! I enjoyed reading all the drama in this book, some moments had me like "oh hell naw" ...On that that note I hope that a second one is in the works because I need to know what happens to them! So this book is about a young girl named, Taraj, that has to deal with her mom being a crack head and basically selling her to get a fix or money. Losing for virginity at 11 yrs old to some strange man was definitely heartbreaking to read but I kept going anyway hoping things would get better for her. She was then sold to the highest bidder at the time and also one of her mom's suppliers when it came to drugs. They ran away together and she later on was saved by a guy named Taz at first he didn't know what to do with her so she just stayed at his house until the heat died down with the drama they were in. Eventually they began getting to know each other and fell in love which I think was nice how everything developed. Taz is a player though but after Taraj and him got serious he cut girls off, but with Taraj's past and his past they have alot of people that have beef with them which makes it hard for them to even go out without having a fight or an argument. The ending really had me on the edge of my chair. 5 stars to this book =)

Life has a funny way of dealing you a messed up hand. This is how Taraj feels. Since the young age of eleven she has been put in positions that no little girl should ever have to experience.Accepting things for what it is she is now place in a new situation with Steve.Thinking life is better since she has been shown a different way,Taraj soon learn that all that glitters is not gold.Caught up in Steve's drama she is now faced with a new problem Taz.With her life hanging in the balance she knows her time is up but there is something about Taz that has her holding on to a little hope. Will Taz change her for the better? Or will she end up being just another promiscuous girl?

So I finally got around to reading a Nicole Jackson book.It started off a little bit slow for me but once it picked up it really held my attention.I liked the concept of story because this does happen in real life but I can't help to feel like it was a bit much.I loved Taz & Taraj connection. I felt like the ending could have been better it just stopped wasn't really a cliff hanger to me.Overall I enjoyed the story.

Promiscuous Girl

This was okay. I am a big fan of Ms. Jackson. This book held me, but this is not one of her top notch reads. Again you left another cliffhanger. I am anxiously awaiting Can't Trust These B-----s sequel. Now this one too. Although I like Taz and Tarah, Jahrein. and Raven are m y favorite couple, with Jay-Rock and Paris, and Keyon and Aaron following. Please out with the sequels. Definitely recommended.

Wow

This book was great but I can't wait for part two omg. Poor taraj it's like she can never win. But I love love love tez nd hers relationship. every time I read Nicole books they're so realistic. Not to over the top where it's just unbelievable. I love Nicole her books are amazing and if she loves her readers just as much as we love her she will Wright part two a little faster. Lol

No rest for the weary ...Taraj seems to have been dealt a hand that is far beyond her reach. But god ain't done with her yet. I can see something good happening for her. Good days are coming I can feel it. I don't want to discuss the mother cause she makes me want to slap her off these digital pages. That's a sick woman.

This book was crazy... It had soooooo much drama in it, I really enjoyed reading it. I love how Taraj seemed to mellow out a little and stop being so promiscuous when she got pregnant, but the end just left a huge cliffhanger for the book. What happened next, and who was it that shot who. I need a part two of this book. It was a very good read and entertaining to start to finish.

Brenda's Got A Baby the remix

The beginning of the story was very hard for me to read. I couldn't believe that a mother could do her child like that. Luckily, Taraj and Taz found each other.

Author Nicole Jackson has given us another great read in Promiscuous Girl. I finished the book a while ago and it was absolutely wonderful. Nicole does a great job of merging the characters from the previous books into one heck of a reading experience. None of the previous lead male or female characters over shadowed the two main male and female characters in this book. They were simply supporting characters that made the book that much more gratifying to read. You did it again Nicole Jackson, and I look forward to your future work.
