I’m a Liverpool born writer, with a story to tell, I started writing when I was very young, I used a school rough book and made stories up, penning them down and as I got older I decided to actually take it serious. I’ve a good friend who motivates me and tells me where I’m going right or wrong, a hobby I’ve had is now a physical thing. A revue is always welcome and if you leave a contact email I'll always try and get back to you it makes it all worth the effort of writing the books in the first place. Thanks and enjoy. Jack
To enhance a really good experience read this book with a southern US voice. The narration has more than a hint of 'Fried Green Tomatoes meets the Waltons'about it and I found that after the first chapter I really wanted to know more about this family and their journey. Some may find it difficult to understand who the voice of each chapter is without an obvious hint in the chapter title but isn't that what reading is all about, discovery? This book was difficult to put down, only bleary, tired eyes forced me, beside the wife insisting that we really did have to take the dog for a walk and it had to be now! The writer has the ability to invest genuine heart and soul into his writing that few others seem able to do. At times, I genuinely had tears in my eyes. A debut novel and an excellent one at that. Look forward to more.
