In this story we follow Elizabeth, her and her fiancé Sebastian are getting ready to have their wedding day. When old secrets come out and everyone dirt rises to the surface, it becomes a blood bath.
My absolute favorite genre of slashers and horror books are wedding related, I feel like there not enough of them and that is why it’s rated as high as it is. That being said I definitely have some thoughts.
For starters I didn’t care for any of the characters, they were all horrible people, and it felt hard to like any characters even the ones we are supposed to like. Hailey was the only cool character, in my opinion.
The next thing that didn’t resonate with me was just how long winded this book was. I felt like the dialogue internal or just in general was way too long winded and unnecessary and just took me out of the horror of the book, which was more disappointing than anything.
I really did enjoy the parts where the killer had rooms set up that they had to go through and I thought that was super immersive and fun to read. It felt like Saw and Survivor the tv show at times and I really enjoyed that part. The setups for the sequel also was done well!
This was honestly so GOOD! I was worried in the beginning because I didn’t like any of the characters, but this is how you do a book with primarily unlikable characters. I had so much fun with this book. I truly cannot wait to read more of Zachary Greaton’s work. This was so well written and highly entertaining
This book was boring, a very stereotypical slasher book that felt very dragged out. Wanted to DNF it but decided to just finish it anyways. I already knew what was gunna happen. If you are into typical slashers this book is alright but if you want a slasher with more depth, this book is definitely not it.
Happy Wedding Day by Zachary and Andrea Greaton was so good! It was their first collaboration and wow did they write a wonderful book together. It’s full of suspense and drama. It’s next to impossible to guess who is doing it. I highly suggest reading this book. I know I definitely will read it again. Absolutely love his books, but this took the cake no pun intended even if it is there;)
For a brief overview, people are getting together for a wedding however they slowly start to get picked up one by one for no apparent reason. For the most part, they don’t even notice it in the beginning. When they do begin to notice it things pick up speed in the killing department and nobody still has any clue as to who is doing it, including you.
I received an advanced review copy for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Welcome to Elizabeth and Sebastian wedding day. It’s filled with flowers, champagne, family drama, and blood. Someone is killing off the wedding party. People are disappearing left and right. No one knows that a killer decided to turn the wedding into their own blood soaked party. As the countdown begins and the body count starts to rise. Who will be able to walk away from this carnage filled event?
I loved this book. It had great characters, plot, intense moments and an amazing story behind the killer’s motive. There were times where the scenes were a tad bit stretched out. I would Highly recommend this book.
WOW! I absolutely loved this book! I’m not going to lie, part 1 is a little slow. It took me a while to get through it. But let me tell you. Once I started part 2, I quite literally did not put the book down. I read half of this book in one sitting. There was not one, but TWO plot twists (one way bigger than the other, but the other still shocked me). I didn’t want it to end! I can’t wait for part 2 to see what happens after!
It is a bit more graphic than what I’m used to, but that stuff doesn’t bother me. It was honestly a little refreshing to actually read gory details and not have them implied!
A mix of Ready or Not & Bodies Bodies Bodies. It is Elizabeth and Sebastian’s wedding day! But will they and their guest make it to the reception? I had a TIME reading this book. Some of the characters are awful but TRUST ME not flat. The scenario is crazy and the count down at the top of each chapter was a great touch. I love a who done it so the whole time I was just waiting to see if I was right or not! I was NOT right. 😂 all in all great read if you like mystery and a nice gory scene!
This book has a way of hooking you right from the very first page. There's so many people that you think could be the killer. And the way that the storylines are all intertwined was great. I really enjoyed it and recommend to anyone who likes slashers.
Really fun and ridiculous at times. I wish the murder scenes had been more creative and this dragged a little towards the middle, but otherwise near perfect slasher experience.
Let me start by saying WOW! This book was beyond fantastic. The setting is a high end wedding in rural Maine, where anything can and does go wrong. There is a killer amongst them, which kept me guessing until the very end, with climactic plot twists! Absolutely must read❤️
