Wow, I had no idea what I was walking into.🤯🤯 I was gripped from the first page. It's a talent for an author to keep you engaged from page one until the end. 👏🏾 Sha Jones is gifted. She weaved this story with perfection. Humble was pressure. It's not even BDE this is like a god-like confidence, a larger than life character🥵. Incredible. For characters to leap off the page is a talent. It was a short story but done so well. I am impressed. I think Humble is a lot like his Dad🤔. I just hope he's not as sinister. Either way, Humble's character is impressive. He carries the storyline. Valor is just...there🤣. I like her character though. She has realistic responses to an intense character like Humble😅. He is like a gift and a curse. For Sha to create such a complex character was impressive. Every scene was executed with precision and felt like a movie. It was vivid and descriptive. I'm excited to continue the series🏃🏾♀️🏃🏾♀️🏃🏾♀️

Humble and Valor had a connection like no other I love their story and how they loved and cared for each other. Humble was strong and stayed in his own lane and made his own way. Humble and his father clashed often Cassius wanted Humble to bow down to him he refused to do as his brothers did his father tried to humiliate him and belittle him every chance he got. His father actually seemed jealous of his own son it was a ego thing it caused alot of tension in the family that was broken. Valor had a rough life struggling too make ends met and taking care of her sisters and mother who was.sick with cancer. And trying to hold everything together their father left them and found a new Young wife and had a family with her. Valor never expected to find love and have some one take care of her and protect her and providing for her and family. Valor went thru her ups and down emotional rollar coaster rape and emotional drain and tried. Now her husband Humble is fighting for his life and a war is brewing who will come out on top.

Awesome
I need a Humble in my life!!!! I just wish Valor wasn't so weak and timid, she need be a rider for her man, she knew what he was when she agreed to marry him. She seem to forget the struggles she had before he came along. This day and age there are so many ways to have a baby , they could use a surrogate , her egg his sperm, just a different carrier. I think when she got SA'ed in the strip club and never got checked out that may be the reason she can't carry full term but she wants to blame humble. And for some reason I'm thinning Humble"s father may have been that man who Sa'ed her and she don't remember, and that's why he so against his own son, and my other theory is Humble is not his son but Kravens, and that's why he treated him differently from his other sons, and that's why Humble acts more like the uncle. I hope Valor grow a back bone and stand 10 toes down about having her man's back, because he was always 20 toes down for her and her family, when her own family turned their backs on them.

Humble and Valor, What A Humbling Love
I truly enjoyed this book and the backstory of this relationship btwn Humble and Valor make me laugh and cry!!!.
They say be careful what you wish for!!!…I’m hoping that wish does not come true and Valor’s husband comes back to her!!!…
Humble worked hard to woo the woman he felt needed protection and someone to carry her burdens!!!…He got that woman and life was beautiful, until it was not!!!…
To watch the disrespect belittling that Senior Savage placed on his family was crazy!!!.
I truly hope one of Humble’s brothers is not behind the attempt on his life!!!..
Landon is going to turn into a beast out in these streets until Humble can stand with Valor!!…

At first glance Humble was drawn to Valor, it was just something about her, the struggle she displayed, the worn look, the fear it all drew him in. Valor thought many nights about the man who gave when he didn't even know her and she was just drawn to him. He set in motion to claim her as his. Cassius Savage was a mean ugly mess of a father. Now at war how will it end. We are left on a cliffhanger but Sha Jones is about to show us what Til death do us part really means. This novel caught me from the synopsis and with so much suspense and drama, it pulls you in and you want to keep reading to see how it all ends. This war has to end and will. Great novel, can't wait to dive in to book #2. Excellent read!

Good Story
This is a great book and I enjoyed reading every single page. I loved the way Humble takes care of his woman and her family. I lost admired the way Valor stepped up and did what was necessary to provide for her mom and siblings. However, I am confused about a few things:
- how Valor’s father walked out and not paying child support and living the good life with someone else and kids
-Why Humble involve his brothers in his business knowing they are loyal to his father, and what happen to Kane and the rest of his crew
- Why Humble vehicles are not BULLET PROOF and how someone was able to get that close with his BODYGUARD trailing him.
Hopefully I will get answers in Book 2

Humble seen Valor and knew that she was going to be his. He saw that she was struggling and took upon him self to Mr. Everything to her and take the weight off her shoulders. Valor stood by him and ran his businesses when he was locked down and even though his pops threatened her family, she is behind him ten toes down because that's all she knew. Fast forward nine years later Quilion is a coke head, Evren and Drayden stayed out their beef. All Valor wanted is a baby.Humble killed his pops right hand man, so if he could take his brother girl what makes he can't take his own son out. All because he wanted to start his own empire.Valor is going to pray like she hasn't prayed before even when they were struggling.

I Loved This Book !! I Would Say Valor Is My Favorite Character Because She's Strong For Pushing Herself To Provide For Her Sisters and Her Mother.
Although Everything Was On Her She Was Solid and Strong. I Loved The Way Humble Loved Her But He Need To Learn That All
Them Bodies Is Too Much For Valor, Yes She Will Always Love Him But Maybe He Should Consider Her Feelings and Building The Family They Both Want. Humble Father Cassius Was Really an Asshole Because Why You Want Your Son To Be Your Solider Doing What You Want, Let Your Sons Be They Own Person. I Would Recommend Anyone Read This Book, I Give It a 5 Star Rating.

great read
I’m in a rush to get to the next book but I will say this is definitely a great read …. That damn Humble is anything but humble… he is a self built king and nothing will stop him from he vision until he comes across Valor… a damaged souls life’s lifin’ on her as she struggles to care for her siblings as they care for their mom who’s been diagnosed with cancer… Humble is hard to not love his unorthodox ways make him irresistible.. I can’t even lie as crazy as id be a man like him is the one we all need.

Toxic Love..
Humble loves to bore-line obsession and possessive.. He loves his wife too much if that is possible. Valor’s first love is fast and deep to deep, until it isn’t. She ask for a person in her life to lean on but did she ask for this obsession. He has no problem being dark and dangerous for his cause. She runs from him but why? She isn’t running because she is scared. She isn’t running because he will harm her. She is running because she is losing herself in him. Humble is a scary dude and knows no one can take from him..

I don’t really know what I was expecting, but what I got was amazing! I enjoyed watching Humble apply pressure. I wasn’t sure how I felt about some of Valor’s storyline being left hanging in the air. The experience right before she encountered him left me feeling indifferent. I do love how Humble loves her tho. I can’t wait to see how this goes in the next book. Great storytelling!

excited for part 2!
This was a solid book. Humble was not playing when it came to Valor. His father was such a hater though. I will say i felt like Valor didn’t speak much in the book where as Humble was very vocal. I would like to see her communicate more instead of deep sighs and whispers. There was also a trigger warning of SA missing from the book.

I enjoyed this read and truly hope that Humble and Valor can withstand the storm. Humble has to meet Valor halfway
I love how Humble lo e in Valor, though at times may seem to be overbearing and possessive.
I thu k Casaiua is about to see another side of Valor as well. She now has to be Humble strength, and I'm hoping she can check Humble Mama, too

Too Good
Yes baby this was too deep and I loved every minute of it. Valor knew she couldn't and wouldn't escape Hunble because he's just that Ninja. I loveeeeeeeeeee the way he applied all that pressure to get Valor and he continued through their marriage. This war between Humble and his daddy is about t to get crazy. Part 2 here I come.

Very good read
This book was great, Valore was so caught up with getting taken care of. She didn’t know that her dream guy was caught up in so much. This book gives so much, family against each other, friends against each other to look forward to greatly. I can’t wait to see what’s gonna happen with the father and her husband

I don’t know what to say. My jaw dropped at the ending. They really got my man’s Humble. Like I’m sick to my stomach about it. I need part 2 ASAP ROCKY! Like I need them mfs dead for playing him almost killing Valor in the process.
