17-year-old Clare Olsen has always had a typical Christian life: great friends, solid family, and an amazing church. When the new assistant pastor’s son, Dillon Jackson, moves to town she comes face to face with a flurry of emotion. After nearly puking on him, she never would have thought that the cute, blond boy would pull her into a relationship she always prayed for. Everything was perfect, until one single mistake throws her life into chaos. Facing shame, condemnation, and a turmoil unlike anything she’s ever known will Clare find grace in the midst of her pain?
Author Note: Grace Unbroken is a stand alone novel and can be read separate or after Grace Alive.
I love action, zombies, paranormal, crazy twists, books that make me laugh right out loud, and surprising endings. I'm an author, singer, and a piano player. I think I'm a little obsessed with writing, but it's what I love to do! I also enjoy helping other authors like me!
Once again, Ms. House brings characters to life that touch one's soul. This is a must-read for any teenager (especially girls) to help them understand how critical decisions made can affect one for the rest of his/her life. The author shows us a way through condemnation and guilt and even delivers us from religion. Too many people don't understand how much fear the idea of church puts into some people's hearts, denying them the opportunity to find freedom and love--and to know God as a loving father. Through Clare's story, we get to experience redemption, understanding that there is nothing too great that keeps God from loving us. You will feel fabulous when you finish reading this book and even experience some healing for you!
Grace Unbroken is an amazing book with an amazing message about God Grace. Its a message that all young ladies (and men for that matter) need to know. This story will touch your heart as you meet Clare and her friends, and see how one mistake can cause problems not only for her but to those who are around her. Can she find love in the future because of her past? Will she ever be good enough for God? And more...
Author Natasha House did a fantastic job in writing this, the second book in her "Heart of Grace Series." Her story telling, and ability to put into words the emotions that she did in telling this story, it truly a God given talent.
