Death Devours

Rate this book
With the threat of the First now behind her, Natalie Pierce has little time to celebrate before yet another problem arises. By killing the first vampire ever made, she inadvertently set his ancient enemies free. Ten withered, starving creatures have now been unleashed from forty thousand years of forced entombment.

Only Natalie and her vampire kin have the strength and speed to eradicate the inundation of fledgling undead that are about to rise. The last thing Nat ever wanted to do was rule but destiny cannot be denied. In her role as Mortis, she must bring her kin together or the entire human population will be destroyed. Somehow, she must find a way for the Japanese and European vampire nations to put aside their ancient enmity and work together for a common cause.

I began reading horror and paranormal books when most girls my age were still reading fairy stories. I always dreamed that one day I would be able to write stories that readers could become lost in.

The Mortis, Shifter Squad, Hellscourge and Fate's Warriors series are connected, but can be read as stand alone series. The overarching theme about Fate's chosen champions will come to an end with my fifth series; Loki's Exile.

My sixth series, Hunter Elite, begins a new saga with the seventh series, Half Fae Hunter, as a spin off.

Natalie has defeated the First, but trouble is far from over. Natalie and her friends end up having more trouble. They must find a way to stop the First's disciples before they destroy the world. Natalie and her friends team up with the Africa and American armies to try to take care of the issue at hand. They also have help from the Japanese vampires. Trouble is far from over.

it's getting a little boring.. there should be maximum number of times your main character can get maimed, cut to pieces, speared to heart or head... still entertaining read, but it is the same again and again..

haha, so true, why are all aliens intent on world domination, I just know siding with this Commander is going to get her ass in trouble though.

This was amazing

This is the fourth book in the mortis Vampire series. It was action packed from beginning to end. I am eager to see where the story goes from here.
