I love dragons, and I loved Loke. He was sexy, sweet and very possessive of Anais.
I’ve been looking forward to this book since Claimed by a Demon King and although the writing and plot was good and I loved Loke, Anais unfortunately ruined this book for me. Because Anais is a hunter, I was expecting a strong, sassy woman, who didn’t let anyone tell her what to do if she felt it was wrong, someone like Sable. But Anais was weak, and she betrayed Loke, after he fought for her, and cared for her, she let him be captured and taken to her headquarters, knowing what the scientists does to non-humans, convincing herself that they wouldn’t do that to Loke. I was horrified by her actions, and didn’t think she was worthy of Loke.
If it wasn’t for Anais, I would have loved this book and given it 4 stars. But she was such an awful character, that I just couldn’t give it a higher rating.
I love this series, and although I was disappointed by this book, I will continue reading it. I really can’t wait for Bleu’s book.

"She admired him for a different reason as he swallowed, his Adam's apple bobbing, drawing her gaze there. Masculine. Everything about this man screamed masculine. He was powerful. Honed. Intelligent. Beautiful."
"She couldn't pretend that she was experiencing simple want born of not having been with a man for over a year. It was desire. Full-blown, no-holes-barred, deep and dangerous desire. The sort of desire she had never experienced before."
"It was ironic that she didn't want a prince to save her from a dragon. She wanted a dragon to save her from Hell's equivalent of a prince."
"Dragons fiercely guarded that which they owned. Anais had done the impossible and had taken a dragon's most precious possession. She had stolen his heart."
"Heaven. She had found Heaven in Hell. And she never wanted to leave."
