This book was a little tough to rate initially because frankly, I hated all of the characters except Dutch, Danyelle's father. Danyelle was a spoiled little whore. She used her body to get what she wanted, but she really didn't need material things. She was given everything she could ever want from her father. Dutch was giving, protective and the only mature character in the book. The women were extremely ratchet, especially Danyelle's mother who slept with Danyelle's boyfriends and constantly made twerk videos. The characters were so trifling I couldn't stop reading. It was like a car crash you can't take your eyes off of. I figured if an author can make me fly through the pages, even when I dislike all of the characters, she's done her job, hence the 4 star rating.

Damn

I like this book,the mother never grows up and hangs out with her daughter's friends and is bat crazy,the father loves his daughter and spoils her,but I have to read part 2 to see what happens, I hate when the book leaves you hanging

That mama was as ratchet as can be. Definitely was like watching a movie waiting for the next scene to unfold. Danyelle was no angel she kept a destructive pattern.
