I really enjoyed the storyline of this book — it pulled me in right from the start and kept me with the twist at the end. The plot was compelling, with moments of emotional depth and tension that really stood out. I especially loved the dynamic between Sam and Piper; their connection felt authentic, and I would have loved to see more of their storyline explored at the end of the book. It had so much potential and heart, and diving deeper into their relationship would have added even more richness to the narrative.

I also found myself wanting more insight into Greyer’s crimes — there were hints of complexity there that could have made for a fascinating subplot if developed further. That said, there were sections of the book that felt a bit like filler. While they didn’t take away from the core of the story, they didn’t feel entirely necessary and at times slowed the pacing.

Overall, this was a good read that delivered on the main plot while leaving me wishing for a little more depth in the areas that truly stood out.

The book started off slow for me but the ending I couldn't put down. I NEED an epilogue though!!!!
I also want to know more of Sam's perspective. Did he catch on? Did he know he had feelings
Other than a few mishaps in the writing the book is a good read for a first time author.
Well done Ashley. Looking forward to the next!
