Too Many Losing Heroines! (Light Novel) Vol. 4

A TOTAL BLUNDERIt's one thing for Tsukinoki Koto's BL fanfiction to be confiscated by the student council...but it's another when it depicts a steamy romance between Nukumizu and a gender-bent version of the student council president! Now the vice president is threatening to hand it over to a teacher, and the whole lit club will be held responsible! Will these losing heroines ever get a break?!

A hilarious rom-com that's now a hit anime!

I just finished this volume and I have too many emotions I must let out.

This series is excellently written. It is witty, funny, precise, has great characterisation, is incredibly paced, and seems to have themes that it's homing in on (I just don't know what yet).

The main character is developing. Relationships are changing. The character featured on the cover ended up being far more interesting than I expected, given that she didn't have much screentime before this volume (do you even call it screentime?)

There are layers and subtext. Just reading is so much fun.

I think I've said everything that can be written coherently. I hope that everyone who would like this series will find this series.
Just a small wish sent out into the internet ether.

Rereading the series. Nukumizu Kazuhiko has managed to get himself in a pickle. Tsukinoki Koto brought in an inappropriate fanfic that was confiscated at the school gate by Basori Tiara, the Student Council Vice President. Now Nukumizu needs to retrieve said item before she brings it to the attention of the school administration. He enlists the aid of Shikiya Yumeko who is also on the student council. But that plan backfires and Basori blackmails Nukumizu to aid her in improving her grades and bringing Shikiya and Tsukinoki back to talking to each other. Plenty of drama, miscommunication and snark ensues before everything is resolved and Nukumizu receives multiple birthday gifts from multiple girls. And then there are the rumors that are starting to circulate about him at school. Fun read!

this was probably my favorite volume of a rom com light novel i have ever read

firstly focusing on one of the most interesting characters in the series (shikiya) and also building nukumizus relation with tiara was very interesting and i very much enjoyed learning more about these characters

also i loved the mystery aspect between shikiyas and kotos past which resolved i a very unexpected and very cute way (also shikiyas lines to koto made me think and reflect a lot on the topic of human relationships) and an interesting romance plot between nukumizu and shikiya that i ssdly dont think will happen

overall amazing volume and generally amazing series. never expected makeine would have such strong plot points for its story and it ending up being my fav romcom
