Finally I got to find out more about Roman and Kendrick’s story – only it is way more complicated than that. While it was a relief to see both Roman and Kendrick, who were secondary characters from book one, get their own story, there is the additional complication of Clatcher, who came to my attention as another secondary character in the previous book. These three men are in an awful situation, and I wouldn’t want to be any of them! “Indecision” is exactly the right title and what an amazing story this turned out to be!
With Roman loving Kendrick, only to see him die at the hand of evil shape shifter Ailiwen, and moving on when Clatcher comforts him, Roman has to now decide between Kendrick and Clatcher. Kendrick has come back from the dead (since his special dragon power turned out to be much like that of a phoenix) only to find he has turned into a fox shifter and the love of his life seems to be in love with another dragon – Clatcher. And Clatcher has loved Roman from afar for so long, finally has the man’s attention, only to see him turn back toward Kendrick… What a mess!
Roman is an easy guy to love. He used to be the dragon clan’s second in command (until he eloped with Kendrick and was replaced), is Aris’s best friend, and has loved Kendrick from afar while Kendrick was still hung up on Aris. When Kendrick finally gets over that (since Aris is now mated) and turns to Roman, he couldn’t be happier. But thanks to evil Ailiwen that happiness doesn’t last long, Kendrick dies, and all Roman feels is the need for revenge. Clatcher is the only one who keeps him sane. And then Kendrick returns – and Roman is in trouble. He does the honorable thing and returns to Kendrick, after all, they are mated. But Roman is truly torn, finding out that his feelings for Clatcher won’t just go away, no matter how much he wants them to vanish.
Kendrick, for me, was a difficult character to get to like. He’s had an on-again-off-again relationship with Aris for years, but doesn’t seem to respect the fact that Aris has found his true mate in Conner. As he suffers through “losing” Aris (even though he never really “had” him), he begins to see Roman and ends up falling in love and finally finds some happiness. But when Kendrick dies, and suffers through everything that follows, I began to feel for him. And now? He finally has Roman back only to realize the man may love Clatcher. His biggest problem is his lack of self-confidence, and that definitely gets in the way. Kendrick keeps thinking in terms of “whom does Roman love more”, and it takes him a while to figure out a solution that will make all three men happy. Oh boy!
Clatcher was a bit if a stranger for me, since he hasn’t previously played a major role. All I knew about him was what learned in book seven, and his support of Roman, even though a little selfish since he loves the man, made me sympathize with him. He also immediately withdraws when Roman choses Kendrick, since he knew from the start that Roman loved Kendrick and not him. What an awful situation to be in! He is ready to leave, despite both Roman and Kendrick telling him they want him to stay. But really, what is he going to get out of seeing the man he loves mated to someone else?
If you like slightly complicated three-way relationships with lots of angst and emotional drama, if you want to know how Roman manages to reconcile the fact he loves two men, and if you’re looking for a tension-filled read with lots of hot shifter-on-shifter action, then you will probably like this novella.

September 25, 2014Not finishing this series because the author ruined Roman and Kendrick. They were my favorite and she killed their relationship by adding a third. Really, all the ways this could've gone and you pick this. Why????

Fair warning - I love Clatcher's character, am anti-Kendrick and will be venting!!
I usually love anything this author writes. this time i just wanted to tear my hair out. i pushed myself to finish reading it, just so that i could get it over with. i was so happy when kendrick died, i couldn't stand the fact that he came back (i have hated him since book 1 of this series). bringing the three of them together the way they came together was very distasteful to me. i was left with a thousand questions and my heart just keeps aching for Clatcher. justice was not done to Clatcher's character. Clatcher's devotion, honor and love seemed to have been cheapened by the menage relationship. Roman chooses Kendrick, but keeps giving mixed signals to Clatcher. Roman is not an honorable warrior by any stretch of imagination. the author keeps writing how honorable Roman is, like she needs to underline it continuously otherwise the reader will forget. why is the author so madly in love with that Kendrick? i can't stand that guy. he is nothing but sniveling, insecure and weak. he is so insecure that the reader will get massive amounts of sex scenes, like Kendick is the mistress trying to keep the man away from the wife all the while calling himself the mate. there are around four to five sex scenes between Roman and Kendrick and one huge menage one (skipped all these parts cause they made my heart ache for Clatcher). Roman and Clatcher don't do anything without Kendrick being present, which is such a shame. to make matters worse the author is bringing Ailiwen back so that she can keep torturing us with more of that Kendrick character. please just kill this character off, but am sure my pleas will all go unheeded. urgg. will keep reading this author and series but will skip all Kendrick parts. seriously though, why is the author so in-love with Kendrick?? am racking my brains but just can't seem to understand that fascination!!

Well, this was disappointing. Gasp! Sigh... You know, the story actually started out okay. I liked how confused and on edge Roman, Kendrick, and Clatcher were with each other; the tension seemed real and honest. Too bad that only lasted up until the middle of the book. After that, the story suddenly turned into a ridiculously fast-forwarded clip of insta love and ménage sex. I hate quick wrap ups, especially when they pretty much kill a plot. So much hype over this couple, and this is what we get? Ugh... And from the ending, there's obviously more to come too. Juuust great.

I was so happy to get Roman, Kendrick, and Clatcher's story. I really enjoyed the way the author handled it, and she was true to the emotional needs of all three men. The sex was hot, but the emotional part was hotter.
Of course, Ailiwen is back, hiding in the form of an animal, and sees who he believes is an imposter as Kendrick. It makes him even more set on stealing this look-alike and killing him in order to destroy Roman once and for all.

June 10, 2017it was an awful book...i agree its fiction and author can mend the story as per their wishes but there should be some reality to the story. The book started well with Kendrick being jealous and afraid of loosing the love of his life But in a span of a day he manages to overcome that jealousy and kiss Clatcher. That would never happen. The author should have shown menage relationship from the beginning. A total waste of time and i wouldn't recommend reading this book.

I wasn't sure if I was going to read this one or not, but I ended up reading it. I have to say that I'm still not really sure if I like the idea or all of them getting together...
Roman made his choice, but to be the way he was wasn't fair to Kendrick. I'm not saying it was fair to Clatcher for being left behind like that, but it's not like they were an item, they weren't anything but sex buddies really, why they were chasing Ailiwen. Though it could have been better, but I can understand that Roman wasn't thinking straight, after all his dead lover came back from the dead. Kind of hard to think once you hear something like that.
Roman kind of pissed me off on how he was acting. You made your choice but you can't stop thinking about someone else why you are with your mate? How messed up is that! He's hurting both Clatcher and Kendrick, but he's not really doing anything about it. He still goes and sees Clatcher, he still thinks of him when he's with Kendrick, he's with Kendrick, not really talking about it with him... Yes Clatcher is his friend, but after everything that has happen some time and space would be good, so as not to keep the people hurting, wouldn't you think?
Anyway.... if I keep going like this I will write more than I was going to.... It makes sense how Marcy wrote it out as for the three of them to be together, how Clatcher has things that Kendrick has and vice versa..... but I donno, maybe if I think more on it I will like the idea. I stoped reeding this series because of Kendrick, I didn't like him from the first book and he keep pooping in everyb book since the first one. And now he has his on story.
In the first one is traying to come betwin Aris and Conner even they where mated. Well besicaly is a slut!
And what is more annoying is how selfpitying is even when he has no right to.
They broke up some time ago. And by the wey Kendrick is the one to break it off. And then Aris is carry on with his live and mated someone else. And Kendrick now he want him back. To late! Move on! He dosent love you! Even if he loved Aris this dosent give him any right to come betwin them. When someone is mated you stay out of their relationship.
But nooo he is mooping that he is mistreated
Maybe i will have come to like it even a little if at last he feel sorry or knows that what he did was wrong. But no, he still consider himself a victim.
Is imposibble to like a caracter like that. to selfish and idiot.

Roman has his mate mate back from the dead. while he was mourning his mate he was seeing Clatcher. With Kendrick back Roman has made sure that all parties know that he is with his mate. even if he has feeling still for Clatcher. Kendrick cant not think about losing Roman and decides to bring Clatcher into their bed. There are many up and downs with making their relationship work with 3 people.

Practicamente leí todos los libros anteriores por esta pareja, y me encantó cómo fue desarrollandolo con la tercera persona y los sentimientos encontrados, pero no me gusto cómo desarrollo este libro la verdad, tenía mucho para hacer un libro magistral, muchas emociones, mucha tela que cortar, mucha forma para hacer un verdadero trabajo sobre "indecisión". Quizá lo continuara en los dmeás. No lo sé. pero no me gusto

Short review:
3.5 Stars. The continuing storyline of Kendrick, Roman and Clatcher also weaves through other MC's stories and surprising for once I didn't mind. In this one, Kendrick works or a way to keep his mate happy.
