This was awful, yeah it follows the final books plot quite well but what's with the awful art style? Vampires look more like Slender Man then anything.

In keeping with the tone of the text, the graphics are muted and drab, but the full horror is there in the shadows in what is still a dynamic and intriguing piece of work.

The penultimate graphic novel in this series and it starts off 2 years into the future. Which was a nice little surprise for me! Really love the artwork in this series throughout! Excited to see where it’s going!

Amazing and I'm so annoyed that now I have to wait until December 2nd for the next one!! I have loved all the novels and the show and reading these has just been extra special, like getting Mr. Quinlin's back story that I don't remember in the novels, but maybe it's just been too long since I read them :/

Another fantastic graphic novel in this series and I'm SOOOOO impatient because I want to read the next one!

The Strain's graphic novels are excellent companions to the trilogy of novels by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan. If you plan to read the books, hold off on the comics or you'll be solidly spoilered. The comics really flesh out the series, expanding on side/back stories.

Very disappointed, they omitted quite chunk of plot while altering some of the plot progression. The artwork was also average, making volume 5 unredeemable.
