Although there aren't any projects in this book that I would do, I see that the finished items are very well done and professional looking. I can see how these fairy tale figures could become favorite toys if not heirlooms! I haven't done any amigurumi work yet, but this book sparks the imagination. The Puss in Boots and the Seven Dwarves are especially charming!

A great little book full of adorable projects and clear, well-organized instructions.

Not what I'm looking for at the moment, but definitely projects I'd like to revisit in the future.

While not primarily a crocheter, I do love amigurumi patterns - they tend to inspire me to want to do more crochet! So cute! This book isn't an exception to that, though it is an average pattern collection overall. I guess, the super cute patterns are balanced by the more ordinary ones? My favorite ones are the dwarves, though I also like the frog prince and the three piggies. As for the book itself - the patterns are clear and nicely divided into the classic stories which inspired the patterns. There are plenty of pictures and explanations for assembly and details, which is always a plus. Without having made any of the patterns yet myself, it still seems clear and well organized. A solid pattern book with some fun designs.
